Zachary felt even more reluctant to let her go after seeing the look on her face. He was being rational and told himself that he should go out. After all, he was a professional and serious boss. Now, after Yvonne returned, he suddenly had a feeling of quitting his work and just staying by her side.

Zachary felt that people outside probably thought the same of him as well.

However, Yvonne was more attractive than his work at the moment.

He kissed her again for a while. He had initially only wanted to kiss her a little then let her go, but he couldn't stop once he started.

And with that, Yvonne was out of breath.

She was in a daze, semi-unconscious, squinting her eyes, and her whole body was full of indescribable laziness.

"Yvonne," he said softly, "This time, don't ever leave me again. Stay by my side forever, don't ever leave again."

Yvonne was stunned and deeply moved.

The word "forever" was the dream of her life.

She would want nothing more.

His hand, which was holding her waist, exerted more strength; it made her feel all the love of a lonely man.

However, just at this moment.

The phone in his office rang.

The ringtone instantly extinguished Yvonne's and Zachary's raging flames.

In an instant, Yvonne came back to her senses in a panic. Her lingering arousal had yet to dissipate, and her eyes were still covered in a layer of crimson.

His face and lips, which had been loved by Zachary, were extremely attractive.

Zachary looked at her little face. He really hated the phone for ringing at a time like this.

"Hurry up and answer the phone. It must be important." Yvonne reminded in a low voice.

The call was made to the phone on Zachary's office desk, not his mobile.

Only a staff member from outside of the president's office would call this phone at this time. They knew that Zachary was in the office with her, and it must be something important for them to have called in this way.

Therefore, Yvonne felt that he had to answer the phone.

But Zachary found it hard to control himself when he saw her messy hair, flushed face, and red lips.

Zachary narrowed his deep eyes sharply and gave her a fierce kiss. Only then did he strongly suppress his urge, turned around, and went out.

"Rest inside," he said.

"Okay."

He closed the door behind him.

Yvonne laid on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling. Only now did she realize that her whole body was sore and weak and drenched in sweat.

A strong sense of emptiness also rose from a certain place. It was a little uncomfortable.

She couldn't help but shake her head and laugh.

She had finally got back the father of her child, but what about her child?

Her child was still angry at her.

But what was more suspicious was why had Zachary suddenly undergone a 180° change?

She couldn't figure it out.

Yvonne heard Zachary answering the phone outside.

"What's the matter?" His voice sounded slightly

hoarse.

However, Yvonne could also tell that he was rather impatient.

She didn't know what the person on the other end said, but Zachary asked in a low voice, "Can't we reschedule?"

Reschedule?

There probably was an appointment, but because they suddenly did it in his office, his schedule was probably delayed.

Was the appointment made the day before?

Yvonne thought about it carefully. She hadn't scheduled any appointments for him around this time. So when did they make the appointment?

"Got it. Let them in then."

Yvonne was stunned. Someone was going to enter his office?

A trace of ambiguity was still lingering in his office. Was it not inappropriate for someone to come in at this time?

"No, tell them to go to the anteroom," Zachary suddenly changed his mind, "No one is allowed to come into my office."

Yvonne immediately let out a sigh of relief. Her face was burning hot, and it took a long time before the heat dispersed. At that moment, the door opened.

Yvonne saw Zachary standing at the door, looking at her with a teasing gaze, "There's a client I need to meet. They made an appointment last week. Have a rest first."

"Okay," Yvonne immediately nodded. When she saw Zachary's wrinkled clothes, she immediately said, "Wait."

She jumped down from the bed. Without bothering to tidy her own clothes, she ran to Zachary to fix his clothes.

Zachary's heart slowly filled with warmth as he looked at the woman in front of him tidying his clothes seriously while she stood barefoot on the ground.

He wrapped his arms around Yvonne and said softly, "Are you afraid that I'll embarrass you?"

Yvonne didn't pay him any attention. She found his tie and put it around his neck, but she didn't know how to tie it. So she couldn't get it right even after a long time as she wasn't skilled. She muttered frustratedly, "If I knew one day I would tie a tie for man, I would have practiced earlier. What should I do?"

Zachary thought her defeated look was adorable. He smiled slightly and said, "The fact that you don't know how to tie a tie brings me joy."

"Why?" She was very puzzled.

If anything, this meant that Yvonne had never tied a tie for any other man before.

The possessiveness buried in his bones was rather intense.

Zachary picked her up and put her back on the bed. "The floor is cold. Don't step on it barefooted." He said.

Yvonne stuck out her tongue.

Zachary then said to Yvonne, "Look, it's like this."

He tied his tie in front of her, and soon, a beautiful Windsor knot was done.

Yvonne stared at his hand; his slender fingers moved about with finesse. It was perfect, extremely beautiful.

It seemed that the client who came was important.

Yvonne nodded, "Your knot looks very nice."

"I'll teach you later," he said.

"Okay," Yvonne nodded seriously, "I can learn it online too."

Zachary nodded and stared at her deeply.

Yvonne's heart became jumpy from his intense stare, "Hurry up and go."

Only then did Zachary kiss her and left.

Yvonne waited for him to leave before getting out of bed. She fixed her clothes, tidied up the battlefield, and opened the window to ventilate the room.

Only after everything was done, she let out a sigh of relief.

She didn't go out immediately because she knew if she did, people would stare. Especially with how she looked just now; she was taken aback when she saw herself in the mirror earlier. The woman in the reflection was very charming and had a pair of sparkly eyes.

Her lips were red and swollen, as beautiful as roses.

She did not look like herself anymore.

Even she was shocked.

She was too ashamed to go out.

In Zachary's office, Yvonne had tidied up her appearance, but her feelings for him were still there.

Excitementjoy, and disbelief.

The phone rang.

She glanced at the screen of her phone on the couch. It was a call from her friend.

"Hey, how is it going?" the other side asked as soon as the phone was connected, "Have you made any progress with your man?"

Yvonne's face became hot. She clenched her phone tightly and said, "Yes, there was a bit of progress."

"I'm in Northern City. Let's meet up, darling."

"Right now?"

"What's wrong? You can't?"

"I can, but can we do it at a later time?"

"I'll only be in Northern City for two hours. I'm at the airport now. I'll have to leave after we catch up for a moment."
