"Heinz, why are you yelling? I heard you yelling from across the hallway. What happened to your cool and cold attitude back when you were seduced by the movie actress?" Heinz was astonished.

"What?" Gary, who had stepped into the hallway, turned back and looked at Heinz. He narrowed his eyes and asked, "What movie actress seduced him?"

Grace laughed, "It's Cindy White. It was ages ago, but I always teared up from laughing whenever I recalled your father's face back then. Now I'm getting old and I replace that I always have flashbacks about the past."

"Cindy White?" Gary's expression changed as he frowned. A gleam flashed through his eyes as he glanced at his parents.

Heinz also frowned. Grace loved to use this to make fun of him. It was a decade ago and he could still remember it vividly. Back then, it was the day Grace and he met, and Grace had seen Cindy seducing him in the lounge at a banquet.

He had a clear conscience. There was no way he would fall in love with Cindy, nor did he have the slightest feeling towards her.

However, his wife insisted on making fun of him. He felt very helpless, especially in front of the children. Heinz felt a little guilty when he looked at his son.

Grace smirked and explained, "Little Gary, it has nothing to do with your father. I know he had no choice but I replace it hilarious. Back then he was cold and indifferent, but who would have thought that he would turn into this old guy who's easily angered."

"Isn't it better since he's more humorous now?" Gary walked up to his mother and wrapped his arm around his mother's shoulders. He looked at Heinz and teased, "I didn't expect that you would have a fling with an actress. What if I have fallen in love with the actress's daughter and we get married. Wouldn't it be awkward for you?"

Heinz was dumbfounded. After a moment of shock, he stared at Gary and couldn't help muttering, "Cindy doesn't have a daughter, does she?"

Gary shrugged.

Meanwhile, Grace gaped and tilted her head to stare at Gary in bewilderment, "Little Gary, you're not serious, are you?"

Recently, there were rumors saying that Cindy had a fifteen-year-old daughter who had just returned to the country at ten years old after living overseas for the majority of her childhood. She was extremely gorgeous and was very obedient, but Cindy had yet to admit it. Rumours were everywhere, so it was difficult to say if it was true or not.

Gary glanced at his parents playfully and let go of Grace's shoulder. He commented lazily, "See? That's why you shouldn't play with someone else's heart. If not, you'll have to reap what you sow. I was just joking with you guys, and you were so frightened about it. That's really lame."

After saying that, Gary rolled his eyes and left.

"Little Gary, are you serious or are you just joking with us?" Grace shouted from behind.

Gary waved his hand and left them with one last sentence, "Mommy, if I'm serious, you can't stop me. I have the right to choose who I fall in love with."

Grace panicked and said, "As long as it's not a man, I won't interfere."

Heinz glanced at his son with a look of helplessness in his eyes. What mother would think of their son like that?

To be attracted to men?

Gary didn't even look like he was interested in men.

As Heinz's son, he was definitely someone with a great future.

Besides, he was only 16 years old, and he was still underage. Why should he be in a hurry to fall in love?

As a response, Gary waved his hand lazily and disappeared into the corridor.

Only then did Heinz recall the important issue at hand and asked, "Honey, did you know Gary and Ernest are going to study abroad?"

Grace was stunned for a moment. Then, she avoided his eyes and said, "Well, I suddenly remembered. I'm still brewing a pot of soup. I'll go and see if it's done." After saying that, she turned around and left.

However, Heinz grabbed his wife's wrist to stop her from leaving.

"You want to leave?"

As husband and wife for so many years, they had long understood the meaning behind each other's actions.

Grace was acting dumb and trying to escape.

Heinz held her by her wrist and threatened her, "Don't think about running away. Tell me, are you the one who persuaded them into leaving?"

Grace blinked and looked into his sharp eyes before stammering, "Do-don't you think that they should explore the world more?"

"He is only sixteen."

"But he has already completed his secondary education. You are the one who doesn't allow him to enroll in university."

"I'm just asking him to do what his age should be doing. It's not necessarily a good thing to be enrolled too early into university."

"That's why your son thinks that you are intervening with his life too much. Although you are doing this for his good, he is a sensible child with his own thoughts. What do you have to say about that?" Grace shrugged.

"You're on their side," Heinz could see that his wife was openly against his decision.

"Exactly," Grace did not try to avoid the topic and said bluntly, "I think it's a good decision for them to venture out and study abroad."

"Are you even a woman?" Heinz grumbled, "As their mother, how are you willing to send your son abroad?"

"No, a mother's love is allowing them to experience life themselves. The further they stray, the more they will learn. They won't consider it love if you keep boarding them in this house. Heinz, you should be able to understand this. They have already grown up, and it's time they explore the world by themselves."

Heinz wanted to retort her, but he was speechless.

"Sooner or later this day will come. The pair of twins is still living with us, Little Gary and Ernest are going to be their role models. Do you really think it is healthy for them to just stay in this house forever?" Grace continued.

"Even so, how could they part ways?"

"That's their choice," Grace answered calmly, "This is their future, not ours. There's only so much that we can do."

Heinz let out a long sigh of frustration. A stab of sorrow flitted across his eyes as he said, "They have grown up and are no longer within our reach."

"You think too much." Grace helped him tidy his collar and smiled, "Give it some thought."

"Daddy!" All of a sudden, a little girl's voice echoed from the corner, "Mommy."

"Sylvia, you're back?" Grace looked at her youngest daughter with a smile on her face. She grinned, "Come and comfort your father. Your father doesn't want your two brothers to study abroad."

Sylvia Jones was the Jones family's youngest child. She was just ten years old, but she was already 150 centimeters and was already quite gorgeous.

Grace felt that Sylvia was growing too fast and that she was probably too healthy. She was afraid that Sylvia would grow too tall, affecting her prospects in looking for her significant other.

The child walked up to them, and her big bright eyes looked exactly like Grace's. Her facial features were even more profound and beautiful. Her hair was tied up in a small bun, revealing her porcelain neck. She looked as if she was an angel that had descended.

She walked to Heinz and looked up at him, smiling, "Dad, you control Gary and Ernest too much. Your actions might actually restrict them from reaching their full potential. Stop restricting them. I am always here by your side."
