They rushed into the Jones Estate but the security guards stopped them. One of the security guards recognized Grace Smith. "Miss, are you looking for Mr. Jones?" The guard asked.

Grace immediately shook her head and said, "No, I want to know if there is any child who has been here?"

"A child?" The two security guards looked at each other and suddenly said, "Oh, yes. A child about seven years old."

"No, he's only five years old," Grace said, "He may be taller than an average child."

Little Gary was the tallest child in the class. He might have inherited his height from Heinz Jones.

"There's a child who was just now. But he's gone," The guard replied.

"He left?" Grace was stunned. "Where did he go?"

"He took a taxi," The guard said.

"Oh my God," Grace was stunned.

"He went that way," The security guard pointed to the north.

"Perhaps he was going back to home," Grace was so scared that her legs went limp. "If something happens to him, I..."

Grace didn't dare to think about it anymore.

She was really afraid that if she came home and couldn't see her child, she would be scared to death.

"My other child disappeared years ago. What would I do if this child is gone now too?" She thought.

After becoming a mommy, she had a fragile heart. Her heart had become so weak that she was afraid that her child would meet any misfortune. They took another taxi.

When they climbed upstairs from Emerald Apartment, they saw the little one sitting at the door of the apartment.

"Where have you been?" Grace screamed and rushed over to hug Little Gary.

Gary Smith was also startled by his mother's sudden hug. He opened his mouth and said, "Mommy-"

The next second, tears began to fall from Grace's eyes.

She hugged her son tightly and sobbed beside his ear, "You can't run away like this anymore, okay? You will really scare me to death. Although you're smart, but you're still young. You can't run around like this. If someone takes you away, I will never forgive myself."

"Mommy, I was wrong," Gary did not dare to say anything else when he heard Grace's crying voice.

Alice Smith looked at his big eyes and sighed. She took the key to open the door and they walked in together.

Alice put her bag down and threw herself on the sofa. She also sighed and said, "I'm scared out of my wits. Little Gary, we're all worried about you. The teachers at the kindergarten are also worried about you. By the way, we should call the teachers."

Alice just remembered that they had to inform the worried teachers too.

Grace held the child's hand, walked to the sofa, wiped her tears, and said, "I'll make the phone call."

"Okay," Alice took Little Gary into her arms.

This time, the little one was very well-behaved. He didn't dare to move and sat down beside his auntie obediently.

Grace picked up the phone, cleared her throat, and said, "Miss Holland, I've found Little Gary."

"Thank goodness. It's good that you've found him. We're all worried about him," Miss Holland said.

"Yes," Grace said, "Sorry for that."

"It's okay. It's our responsibility," Miss Holland said, "There is a loophole in our kindergarten's security management."

"Yes, that's what I want to say," After hesitating for a while, Grace decided to say, "Little Gary was wrong to run out alone, but the guards at the kindergarten are not strict enough. Please ask the guards to keep an eye on the gate and keep it under strict supervision."

"Don't worry about that. We've had a meeting after what happened today. We've notified everyone that we're all responsible for this," Miss Holland said politely.

"That's good," Grace did not criticize her further.

"Thank you."

Hanging up the phone, she looked at her son with a bit of harshness in her eyes.

Gary was smart. He suddenly stood up respectfully in front of his mother. He said, "Mommy, I made a mistake. I know I was wrong."

Grace's face was stern as she looked at him seriously. "You know all these things and yet you still did it. It's not that you did not know. I want to ask you if you really realize your mistake."

The little one saw that his mother was really angry, and his big eyes were a little sad, he said, "I'm sorry, mommy. I know that I have made you worried. But I think it's not wrong to go and see my father. I have the right to know."

Both Grace and Alice were stunned.

"The right to know?" They were shocked as they heard his words.

Gary was just a young child, but could actually use such words.

She took a deep breath, a trace of helplessness flashing in her eyes.

She racked her brain to deal with such a smart child.

Facing her son, Grace nodded and said, "Yes you do, and I will tell you. Your father is Heinz Jones."

"But mommy, you said that he might have a girlfriend," Gary said, "I want to know why he still casually goes for blind dates despite having a son, me! Who on earth is he? How can he be called a man when he lives such a promiscuous life?"

Grace was stunned.

Alice's mouth fell open in shock, and she couldn't say a word for a long time.

"Oh, my God, every word from this child is so sharp," they thought.

After a while, Grace looked at him and said, "Are you suspecting your mother, I, for being an easy woman?"

Gary pursed his lips and nodded. He asked, "Mommy, aren't you an easy woman? You had me without my permission, I was born so randomly. And I couldn't even go to see the person who provided my other half-genes."

Grace suddenly stood up and looked down at her son.

Gary stood there. The two of them stood face to face. She was much taller than her son.

However, Gary's aura was not inferior to Grace's.

"Mommy, don't stand up. You can't talk to me so condescendingly just because you're taller," The little one said persistently.

Grace was stunned. She was scared and worried when she saw her son. She had almost lost all her strength.

She thought about her son's words carefully and they did make sense.

She sat down again, and her eyes were at the same level as her son's.

She pondered for a moment and said, "I'm sorry, it's my fault."

If it weren't for that night when she was ready to confess to Simon Brown, it wouldn't be this way.

After the mistake, it was her decision to give birth to the child.

"Little Gary, I gave birth to you, and I did it without your permission. But I don't regret it," Grace said word by word, "I'm glad that we became mother and son. As for Heinz, he doesn't know about your existence. I've said it was a mistake."

"I just want to know if he has a girlfriend now," Gary said.

"Little Gary," Grace softened her voice and said, "Give me some time. I'll tell him about your existence, okay?"

Gary looked at her.

Grace said, "Don't worry. If you are willing to be with him, I think he will be happy to know about you."

"Mommy, don't you want me anymore?" The little one immediately slouched his shoulders with a grievance on his face.

"I will let you choose," Grace became serious. The child had his own thoughts so she had to tell him seriously, "I know you miss your dad very much. I will let you choose."

"Sister," Alice looked at Grace worriedly. "Don't scare the little child."

"I'm serious," Grace said.

Gary didn't say anything. Then, he turned around and walked to his room.
