True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 156
Grace Smith only glanced at Marry Smith and went straight inside without stopping, as if she didn't see her. When Marry saw Heinz Jones helping Grace with her bag, her face turned pale and she chased after her.
"Grace." She called.
There were a lot of people in the hospital building coming in and out. Marry walked quickly, and grabbed Grace's hand.
Grace frowned and said, "Let me go."
Marry was pushed away, so she took a deep breath and said, "Grace, what's wrong? Why did you come to the hospital?"
Grace ignored Marry, with a face as cold as a freezer.
"Mr. Jones?" Seeing that Grace ignored her, Marry quickly turned to Heinz and said with concern, "Mr. Jones, what happened to my sister?"
Heinz's face turned even colder. "What does this have to do with you?"
"Mr. Jones, Grace is my younger sister. I am worried about her. I am very worried." She looked at Heinz with her delicate face and said, "I know you blame me for not taking good care of my sister. I admit that I haven't done my duty as an older sister these years."
Grace didn't expect to meet Marry here. She didn't want to have any more contact with her.
Heinz pressed the elevator button and waited for the elevator. The elevator was still far up so they could only wait patiently.
They had no choice but to wait.
Marry looked at them. Seeing that Heinz did not speak, she turned to her Grace and said, "Grace, I know that you hate Simon and I. I admit that I had stolen your love. I shouldn't have fallen in love with Simon. I am forcing myself to be with him. The person he loves is you. All these years together, we are not happy at all."
Grace frowned and her face grew even darker.
Heinz's face was as dark as coal.
"Grace. If you still love Simon, I'll give him to you." Marry looked at her with a sincere face and said, "Really, I'm willing to give him to you."
Grace literally wanted to strangle Marry now.
Grace turned her head and faced Heinz.
The reason why Marry said this at this time was obviously because she saw that Grace was standing with Heinz. Any man who had heard her words would be jealous. Any man would want to dominate over their own territory.
Marry's words may seem weak and helpless, seeming to offer her lover to Grace, but the conseguences of what she said was well expected.
Heinz frowned and glanced at Marry's face with a sharp gaze. He said coldly, "Mrs. Brown, are you treating me as a dead man?"
Marry was stunned. Looking at the expression on Heinz's face, she became even more gentle. "Mr. Jones, my sister and Simon were childhood sweethearts. When she was a child, Grace was very attached to Simon. If it weren't for that one mistake, we wouldn't have gotten married. Now my sister hates me because of that, I really can't take it anymore. I'm thinking of giving Simon to her, so that she doesn't hate me so much."
Heinz glanced at her coldly and said in a low voice, "Mrs. Brown, you'd better keep that rotten man to yourself. It's you who treated him as a treasure. Grace has been disgusted by him for a long time now." "Mr. Jones, you don't understand my sister. She doesn't fall in love with a man easily, but once she does fall in love, she will only love him for the rest of her life." Marry added.
Heinz's eyes were deep and he was lost in thought for a moment.
"But once she does fall in love, she will only love him for the rest of her life." Marry's words echoed in his head.
"Grace loved Simon, does it mean she will love him for the rest of her life?" He thought.
His gaze was directed towards Grace, deep and thoughtful.
Grace raised her eyebrows and blinked her eyes several times. Then she narrowed her eyes and looked at Marry coldly.
"This is a hospital, Mrs. Brown. I have given you my respect by ignoring you. If you insist on saying something I don't want to listen to, I really don't think I can be polite any longer." Grace threatened. "Grace, I just want to go back to the good old days." Marry was about to cry. She was holding back her tears, with a delicate and fragile demeanor.
Conversely, Grace's face was nothing short of harsh and cold.
The elevator stopped on the 19th floor and then stopped on the 18th floor. It seemed to stop on every floor. It was too slow.
The elevator next to them was also crowded.
"I don't want to talk to you anymore. Aren't you pregnant? I have a cold now. If you're not afraid of getting ill, you can continue to stand here." Grace said coldly.
As expected, Marry took a step back subconsciously.
As Grace smiled coldly, her eyes were sharply gazing at her. "I already know what you're thinking. Marry, don't even think about framing me, anyway, you won't succeed."
Marry was stunned again. She panicked and whispered, "Grace, you misunderstood me. I'm being sincere now."
"If you are sincere. Am I a cold-blooded bitch?" Grace said coldly, "By saying those words to Heinz, aren't you just trying to spoil things between us?"
Heinz also raised his eyebrows but said nothing.
Grace was looking at Marry with the same cold gaze she had for Heinz, but it was fiercer than ever.
"No, Grace, you have misunderstood me. I know you and Heinz are friends-" Marry said.
"Ah, is it appropriate for you to say these words?" Grace's indifferent gaze frightened Marry. "I have already shown my respect to you, but you insist on harassing me, and you are persistent about it. You are trying to test my relationship with Heinz, so you planned to tell him that I am still in love with a man. And you are insinuating that I will never stop loving him?"
"Am I wrong?" Marry said, "You are a very loyal person."
"Haha." Grace laughed and said, "I'm a very loyal person? Who are you mocking?"
The elevator door opened.
A group of people came out.
Grace stepped in.
Heinz turned his head towards Marry, with his sharp eyes glaring at her, as if he could shoot someone to death. "Grace doesn't think highly of your man. With an actual man here with her, if you think she would prefer Simon, then you must be insane."
Marry was slightly startled..
Heinz said, "Don't try to sow discord between us. Your dirty tricks are ridiculous."
As soon as he finished, he went into the elevator.
Grace straightened her back, and looked at the man in front of her. She pursed her lips. She didn't expect that he would still have such an indifferent attitude when he heard those words. And yet, he could ever defend her. She felt warm in her heart.
Heinz wrapped his arms around her waist, as both of them gazed at Marry standing outside the elevator.
Marry's delicate and beautiful face was absolutely pale.
The elevator door closed and it started ascending.
Grace could finally relax, her stuffed nose was very uncomfortable.
Heinz lowered his head and looked at Grace.
She did not look up, but she could feel that he was looking at her.
When the elevator doors opened, his voice came from the top of her head. "Here we are. Let's go."
She was startled but followed him out.
He did not mention a word about what had happened just now, but Grace felt very embarrassed. She followed him as he walked outside and said, "Sorry, I let you witness an ugly family affair." He was stunned and stopped for a moment. He stared at her, and remained silent for a long time.
She was anxious and whispered, "Are you angry?"
"Once you fall in love, you will love him for life?" He stared into her eyes.
Grace was startled, but she immediately shook her head. "Of course not."
