True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1678
Gary looked at Celeste gently. He was very pleased that Celeste understood him, and was even being thoughtful about his future. This made Gary even more touched. However, as a man, he understood his responsibilities better. He knew that he needed to take care of Celeste.
If he could not even protect his beloved woman, then what kind of a man was he?
Therefore, he was even more determined to come to London to study.
"You don't have to worry about it. I will replace a suitable way so that I won't put so much pressure on you," Gary smiled at her, "Alright, come on. Let's get back to work." Celeste nodded. Although he told her not to worry, she could feel his care for her.
She did not know why she hadn't thought of that before. Back when he came to London, she felt resentful. However, now that she thought about it, he probably did it for her. Celeste thought that she should not act the way she did.
However, she still felt a little contradictory.
Perhaps she was only able to let go of some things after some things happened. She felt that love was something that required commitment from both sides instead of only allowing one side of the party to do everything.
With this thought in mind, Celeste suddenly felt that she should do something for Gary. Perhaps she was the one who should leave London.
It would be better if she went to Boston with him.
First of all, she could leave Cindy, that wretched woman, and secondly, she could still be with Gary in Boston. After all, he had been doing business there for four years. Uncle Lowell was there too. Celeste gave it a moment's thought and finally made a decision.
Cindy and Sinclair were still waiting outside. Time ticked away, and it was almost noon. The two of them had always been living a glamorous life, so it was unlikely that they could continue waiting patiently. Cindy looked up at the sky and rubbed her stomach. She glanced at Sinclair next to her and asked, "I am hungry and thirsty. What about you?"
Sinclair was thirsty as well and chimed, "Me too. I'm thirsty and hungry. Not only that, I want to go to the toilet."
Cindy smacked her lips and frowned, "Those two brats are really something to be so on guard. They don't want to see me at all. Those two were already speaking rudely to me a while ago."
"You must have offended her," Sinclair remarked coldly, "You were the one who sent her to the Jones family, so of course she will ignore you. Now I may not know what happened before, but I know that you have some feelings for Heinz. Back then, you seduced him so badly that his whole family was on guard against you. A woman should still care about her dignity."
"Dignity is what I lack most right now, but the same goes to you," Cindy mocked sarcastically, "So let's stop making fun of each other."
"I can still make fun of you. After all, I am a man. A man doesn't have to feel ashamed of these things. However, you are a woman. As a woman, you should feel embarrassed of your lack of dignity." "Don't be so self-righteous. Save your saliva to quench your thirst. Although you are a man, you have been toyed by Michael as well. Don't you feel embarrassed by that? You are no better than a woman for being treated like one. What dignity do you have? You're not gay, so don't you feel uncomfortable?" Cindy looked at Sinclair contemptuously.
After being called out, Sinclair pursed his lips and his face darkened. He growled, "Shut up, don't talk to me about that."
"Fine. Let's drop the topic. Tell me, since we are both out here, what do you think Michael and Monica are doing?" Cindy tilted her head and looked at Sinclair thoughtfully, "By the way, are you familiar with Monica?"
Sinclair narrowed his eyes and snorted, "Them? They must be deciding how they are going to split their money. Either that, or they are discussing fooling around together. After all, they are married, it is what they should do."
"You seem to be so naive when it comes to Monica," Cindy smirked, "I think that Monica is going to think of every way she can to get Michael's money."
"Is Michael really someone that is so easy to be dealt with?" Sinclair sneered and said, "Monica doesn't have anything anymore. She doesn't have enough money, so I don't think she will act rashly." "Don't you think that people will try to do everything they can to steal money when they have nothing?" Cindy smiled wickedly, "I have a feeling that Monica will finally get her way with Michael this time." "Oh? So you don't have confidence in Michael?" "It's not that I don't have confidence in Michael, I just think that a woman will always win in the end when it comes to battles like this," After Cindy finished, she suddenly smirked to herself.
Sinclair was stunned. A brief second later, he grinned, "Are you hinting to me that you'll get your way with me eventually? Between you and me, if there has to be a winner, it should be you and not me, right?" "Are you that sensitive?" Cindy chuckled, "Well then, wait here. I will go buy something to drink. After that, it's your turn to use the toilet, okay?"
"Sure," Sinclair nodded and added, "Buy some food for me."
"Sure thing, I can accept this request of yours," Cindy laughed, "Wait for me here."
"How long will you be gone?" Sinclair frowned. From her tone, it seemed like she was going to leave for a long time. He completely understood how vicious a woman could be, so he needed to be on guard. Cindy just chuckled, "I am worried, so I'll be going back to check on Michael and Monica. I will probably be gone for two hours."
"Two hours? By the time you come back, I will have peed my pants," Sinclair was annoyed, "Forget it. Let's come back later, I will come with you."
After he said that, he stood up and left with Cindy.
Cindy shrugged, "Let's come back after work. After all, we are not in a hurry. We have the time to wait for Celeste. She is simply too cruel, so we need to be more patient. You shouldn't be too anxious as well since nothing good will come out of the lack of patience."
Sinclair listened tensely and completely ignored Cindy. He quickly found a car and the two of them left.
When Gary looked down again, he realized that they were gone.
His phone then rang.
"Mr. Jones, Sinclair and Cindy have left."
"Okay, keep a close eye on them and inform me of their movements at all times."
"Sure thing."
After half an hour.
Cindy and Sinclair came back and opened the door. Cindy saw Michael, whose hands were tied to his back and was completely naked. He looked particularly pitiful.
"Oh my god, what happened?" Cindy exclaimed and walked over.
When she saw Michael's appearance clearly, she could not help but put on a look of disdain, "Michael, I can't believe you still wanted to fool around despite being tied up. I'm really appalled by your fetishes." "Untie me now," Michael glanced at Cindy and then at Sinclair, his eyes filled with embarrassment and displeasure.
"Who did this to you?" Sinclair suddenly cackled, "I never thought that something like this would ever happen to you. Amazing! Don't tell me that Monica was the one who did this to you."
"Yes, it's that b*tch," Michael was determined and told Cindy, "She injected me with a drug and I fainted. That's how I ended up like this. She took away my money too. Sinclair, wouldn't you be afraid if you see such a vicious woman?"
"She took your money?" Cindy's voice sharpened. She froze when she was helping Michael untie the rope. She frowned slightly and asked, "Did she take all your money?"
Michael kept an eye on Cindy. When she asked this question, he admitted it at once, "Yes, all of it."
He suddenly had an urge to see how Cindy would treat him once he had nothing left.
One would only know how other people would treat them when they had no money. Right now, he wanted to test Cindy.
After a moment of surprise, Cindy just smiled gently, "It's okay, Michael. I'll support you. I will support you even if you don't have any money."
Michael was stunned. He did not expect that. He took a deep look at Cindy and said, "Cindy, are you serious?"
Cindy patted his face and smiled ambiguously, "As long as you are obedient and listen to me, I will take care of you. Michael, take a bath and wash away the filth on you. Don't be sad. I want you to be clean and fresh."
"Sure," With that, Michael quickly went upstairs to take a bath.
