True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1879
Heinz also thought that he was being very childish. However, he did not care.
Grace was not allowed to appreciate other men that weren't him.
His bossy nature made it impossible for him to bear it.
"Am I in good shape?" Heinz whispered hoarsely, staring unblinkingly at Grace.
Grace looked at Heinz helplessly and said, "If you catch a cold, it will not only affect me, you know? The two babies in my stomach will be affected as well."
This caught Heinz's attention. He sighed and put on his shirt.
Grace helped him fasten his buttons and complained all the while. "You're so childish. Why would you compare your figure with a young man's? I didn't fall in love because of your body." "That was one of the reasons, wasn't it?" Heinz asked.
"You're so childish." She rolled her eyes at him.
Heinz didn't think he was.
"Come on, everyone's likes to look at another's body, whether they are a man or a woman. Weren't you just talking about how nice-looking the young men's figures were?"
Grace looked at him helplessly and said, "I was just teasing you. Heinz, you're over 40. Can you stop being so childish?"
"I wasn't being childish. I was just securing what belongs to me. You're mine. You're not allowed to praise other men," he said seriously.
"I don't know how to deal with you. You're acting just like a kid. You take my jokes way too seriously." After carefully righting Heinz's clothes, she said, "We've been together for so many years. There's no need for that. You know that my heart belongs to you."
"Of course I do. If I didn't know that, do you think I would still be standing here?" Heinz snorted.
Grace glared at him and asked, "What were you planning to do?" Heinz replied, "You know what I was going to do! I was going to erase those other men from your memories! I don't want you to praise any other man that isn't me."
Grace was rendered speechless. "I don't want to talk to you anymore."
Right at this moment, Heinz's phone rang.
Heinz looked down at his phone and found that it was a call from the person before. He quickly picked up the phone and asked anxiously, "What happened?"
A man's voice came over the phone. "President Jones, I just saw Miss Sylvia get into Mr. Trevino's car."
"What?" Heinz gasped. "Sylvia left the school in Mr. Trevino's car?"
"Yes, President Jones. They left five minutes ago. They're no longer at the school."
Hearing this, Heinz frowned and said, "Where did they go? It's going to be dark soon. Where is he taking my daughter?"
"Miss Sylvia snuck into his car. But before Mr. Trevino started driving, he found her. After that, Miss Sylvia said something to him, then the both of them drove off together." "Hurry up and follow them," Heinz urged.
"We're right behind them," the man replied.
Heinz's mind was spinning from anxiety.
"I have to come over myself." Heinz said to the phone, "Keep a close eye on them. Don't lose them. Remember to report back to me if anything changes."
"Yes, sir." The call ended just like that.
Heinz pondered for a short moment. He lowered his eyes, making his expression indiscernible at the moment.
When Grace noticed the change in Heinz's behavior, she knew that her husband was worried. However, Grace did not share the same feelings. She thought that Mr. Trevino would not do anything out of line. Heinz was probably just making a big fuss out of nothing.
Heinz suddenly raised his head and said to Grace, "Speak of the devil. He's really not easy to deal with. He just drove our daughter out of the school!"
Grace couldn't help but retort, "I seem to have heard that Sylvia was the one who sneaked into his car."
"You really believe that? Well, I don't. Why would he leave his car unlocked on purpose for something like that to happen? Isn't he worried about car theft?" Heinz asked.
Grace shrugged and replied, "I don't know, but Sylvia is not easy to deal with, so don't put the blame on the other party entirely."
"Sylvia is underaged. How old is he? He's an adult," Heinz said in a low voice, "How can an adult man be so unreliable?" Although Grace felt that Mr. Trevino would not do anything out of line, she supposed that Heinz was right.
An adult had to do things within reason. If a teenager had done something not sensible, it would be understandable.
Sylvia could play her pranks, but as a teacher, Mr. Trevino could not act recklessly. This was an indisputable fact.
Grace took a good look at Heinz and said, "No matter what, we should first confirm what they are going to do. Maybe they are just going out to buy something. If Sylvia replaces out that we're making such a huge fuss out of nothing, she'll get angry again."
Heinz thought that his wife had somehow developed some trauma after talking to Sylvia on the phone before. It seemed that she was afraid to anger Sylvia. It made Heinz upset. He could not bear to see her like this.
"I don't care. Let her be angry," Heinz said in a deep voice. "She's supposed to be in class, but ran out with Mr. Trevino instead. Anyone would be curious about what she's doing."
"Why don't you call her and ask?" Grace suggested. "Maybe she will tell you."
Heinz was stunned. He suddenly realized that he could indeed make a phone call.
He almost forgot about his phone.
"I'm so mad at her. She made me lose sense of everything." Heinz got his phone out and called Sylvia.
The phone was quickly picked up. Sylvia's crisp voice greeted, "Hi, Dad."
"Sylvia." Heinz restrained himself and said, "Are your classes over?"
"Yeah, they're over." Sylvia answered obediently. "I'm going to buy books with our teachers now. We'll head back to school afterwards."
Heinz was a little surprised to hear that Sylvia had admitted to going out with a teacher.
He paused for a long while and said, "You're going out with you teacher?"
"Yes, Dad." Sylvia replied. "We're on the way to a bookstore now. We're buying book for the whole class."
"Oh, then be careful." Hearing this, the anger in Heinz's chest instantly dissipated. Perhaps it really was a coincidence. Maybe Sylvia didn't have a crush on Mr. Trevino after all. Sylvia was not of age yet.
Heinz realized that he might have overreacted before. He started to calm down soon after.
After he determined that Sylvia was being truthful, he asked, "Sylvia, how are the school dorms?"
Sylvia started to whine, "Dad, living in the school dorms isn't as good as living at home, but it's really nice to be with everyone all the time. I think it's a good experience for me."
"From what I heard, you seem to like living on campus. You really like living with your classmates, don't you?" Heinz asked.
Sylvia laughed and said, "Dad, don't get me wrong. The school dorms are certainly not better than home. It's just that there are many students in the school who I can interact with all the time. I like spending my time with them."
"Don't give me such a long-winded explanation. I just need you to answer me, do you like living on campus?"
Sylvia was silent for a long moment.
Heinz said in a low voice, "Tell me the truth. Don't try to deceive me."
Sylvia pondered for a while and said, "Dad, I want to live on campus starting next semester. Can I?"
Heinz frowned. "Do you think that if you live on campus, you will be free to do whatever you want?" Sylvia froze for a moment.
Heinz said deeply, "You've only stayed in the school dorms for a night, yet you seem to have grown much bolder than before."
"Dad!" Sylvia cried out immediately. "Why would you say that? Did Mommy complain about me in front of you again?"
Heinz snorted. "Do you have a prejudice against your mommy? Your mommy cried for hours because of what you said to her last time! You made a pregnant woman cry for hours! You still want to drag her into this?"
