Kendrix had no choice but to stop what he was doing and to look up at Gary. "Not everyone is looking for love." Upon hearing that, Gary suddenly became very curious. "What? Have you been hurt by someone before?" Kendrix got even more speechless. Gary really made a lot of assumptions. He was even guessing that.

"If you've never been hurt before, could it be that you don't have a happy family, which is why you view love and relationships so badly?" Gary spoke again.

Kendrix leaned back lazily.

"Oh, so it seems like neither of these is the case. Or maybe, it's both," Gary said unhurriedly, teasing Kendrix.

"Don't you think it's too boring to be attracted to a woman at such an early stage?" Kendrix asked.

"Oh, it's really not too early. Well, I couldn't help it. I'm too smart and even skipped a couple of grades. If love doesn't come sooner, I will have no place to vent my physical strength." Gary looked at Kendrix evilly. "Or should I be like you, going jogging because of the lack of women? How boring would that be?"

Kendrix corrected him, "I am exercising."

"I am also exercising by doing that," Gary said.

"Your idea of exercising and mine are very different," Kendrix said again.

"Oh, it seems that you understand those things between men and women. Why? Are you not a virgin anymore?" Gary's gaze sharpened as he stared at Kendrix. He didn't want to miss out on any slightest hint in Kendrix's gaze.

Kendrix was speechless. His gaze didn't change at all, and he was just allowing Gary to size him up.

"I really can't tell if you are a virgin or not, but I think since Sylvia likes you so much, she wouldn't care if you are a virgin or not."

"You're overthinking," said Kendrix.

"I'm not. I'm just stating the facts." Gary smiled and said, "Don't be embarrassed. I can give you some guidance if you need."

"Your girlfriend is waiting anxiously for you," Kendrix said again.

"There's no hurry. Celeste is very obedient." Gary continued, "Especially when she knows that I'm here for my sister, she won't mind." "When are you leaving?" Kendrix lost his patience.

"After this class. I want to chat with you for 45 minutes. I am sure that my sister might come over after this class," Gary said.

Kendrix's eyes flashed.

Gary laughed cheerfully. "Kendrix, while I was observing you just now, I found that you're still a virgin."

Kendrix said nothing.

"Keep it up. My sister is also a perfectionist. If you weren't a virgin, she might probably mind it." Gary warned. "Looks like you have to continue running. My sister isn't an adult yet. There's nothing you can do besides holding it in, right?"

"School is a sacred place. Is it appropriate for you to say these things here?" Kendrix lowered his eyes. He didn't like it when others are blurring the boundaries while talking to him.

Gary didn't realize that he shouldn't have said that. On the contrary, he felt that he was right to tell him those. "The school is very sacred, but the school also teaches students about the needs of the physical body in biology classes."

Kendrix knew that if they continued talking, Gary would be even more unscrupulous.

Gary didn't know a thing about rejection.

Wait!

Instead of saying that he didn't know about a thing about rejection, it was more like he didn't care about rejection at all.

He was so domineering, so it didn't bother him at all.

He wanted to be the one who made the rules and assumed authority.

He completely transcended the stage of being thick skin.

Kendrix felt that he had a new perspective towards Sylvia's eldest brother, the eldest son of the Jones family, again.

"Why are you looking at me like that? There's no need to admire me. I know that you actually admire me deep down." Gary chuckled. Kendrix was shocked again. He might really be admiring him.

However, he did not admit it. Instead, he changed the subject and said, "Since you're Sylvia's brother, why isn't your last name Jones?" Gary had thought of thousands of possibilities for what Kendrix would say, but he didn't expect him to ask him that question. This really surprised him.

He was stunned at first, and then he laughed. "Haha, your way of changing the subject is quite ingenious and sharp, isn't it?"

Kendrix smiled, tacitly agreeing with him.

"You haven't answered me yet," Kendrix said.

"You're a policeman. Isn't it easy for you to replace out about it if you want to know about something like this? Besides, my parents are both famous people. This isn't a big deal," Gary said with a smile. Kendrix also laughed. "However, I want to hear it from you."

"But I don't want to answer you." Gary blinked his eyes and even winked at Kendrix.

Kendrix felt a wave of chill and disgust. He got goosebumps all over.

Gary didn't seem to care. He continued ignorantly, "Let's get back to the main topic."

"What exactly do you want to talk about with me here?" Kendrix asked.

Gary said, "Of course, we're talking about you and my sister."

"Your sister is my student, and I have nothing to do with her," Kendrix said in a low voice.

"You can deny it, but I just want to see you admit that you have feelings for my sister on your own.

That's all. Actually, you don't have to be so nervous." Gary smiled. "I have plenty of patience. I can wait for you to think about this properly."

"I have no time to talk to you." Kendrix simply stopped talking.

In the next ten minutes, Kendrix really made up his mind and didn't say anything.

As he busied himself with his own business, Gary beat around the bush on his own, but was unable to get Kendrix to admit that he liked his sister on his own. However, who was Gary?

He was the kind of person who would never give up until he reached his goal. He was almost too persistent.

Kendrix didn't speak, but Gary kept on talking, which made Kendrix feel a headache coming on.

The 45 minutes were almost up.

When the bell rang, Kendrix said, "You can leave now. I have a class later."

"Then, you have to admit that you like my sister and have a deep affection for her. If you say it, I will leave." Gary looked at Kendrix with his deep gaze. Kendrix frowned.

"Think things through carefully. If you don't tell me, I'll continue to stay here. After the bell rings, Sylvia might come looking for you right away." Gary reminded. Kendrix narrowed his eyes and looked at Gary, his eyes flashing.

Gary looked at him, determined to get what he wanted.

Kendrix asked, "Will you only leave after I say that?"

Gary nodded immediately. "Of course, I'll get up and leave immediately once you say that."

"What should I say?" Kendrix asked in reply.

"Just say that you have a crush on my sister. Although she is underage, you still fell in love with her at first sight and can't help but to like her. You have deep feelings for her and that you intend to protect her in the future." Gary planned it out for Kendrix. "That's about it."

Kendrix gave up arguing with him. He curled his thin lips and said, "Yes, I fell in love with Sylvia at first sight and I intend to protect her in the future. Is that okay?"

"Perfect." Gary snapped his fingers and stood up. "Was that so hard? You could have done it in a jiffy. All right, it's time for me to go. I've been bothering you for so long and have finally gotten the answer I want. All right, brother- in- law,

goodbye."

As he spoke, Gary walked to the door and opened it.

Outside the door, Sylvia stood there in a daze with astonishment in her eyes.

She saw Gary, but before she could say anything, she pulled Gary aside and looked at Kendrix.

Behind the work desk, Kendrix saw Sylvia who was outside the door.

For a moment, his heart skipped a beat. D*mn it, it was really bad timing.

He pursed his lips and looked at Sylvia. Just as he was about to say something, Gary interrupted him.

He said coldly to his sister, "Sylvia, you heard it, didn't you? Mr. Trevino likes you and plans to protect you in the future."

"D*mn it." Kendrix stood up as well.

Sylvia's face suddenly turned red.

She flushed all the way to her ears.

Her eyes were fixed on Kendrix the whole time. She didn't avoid Kendrix's eyes and just stared at him as if Gary was invisible.

Gary was not in a hurry to leave either. At that moment, he watched Kendrix with a smile as if he was watching a fun show. He wanted to see how he would deal with the situation.

Kendrix squinted at Sylvia's red face.

His brows furrowed as he glared at Gary.

Gary laughed even more gloatingly.

"Sylvia, you should ask Mr. Trevino directly. He has already admitted to me that he likes you. If you also like him, just tell him bravely and confess your feelings to him." Gary patted Sylvia's shoulder and said softly, "I'm rooting for you. I'll make a move first, good luck."

Sylvia didn't raise her head, and her heart was beating like a drum.

Gary turned around and left.
