"It's all right. It will get better as time goes," Gary said.

"If only I am as thick-skinned as you." Celeste cast a resentful glance at him, admiring him for being able to face anyone and anything at any time so calmly.

"Am I thick-skinned?" Upon hearing that, Gary stared intently at Celeste.

"Sorry." Celeste realized it wasn't nice of her to say that and immediately explained, "I mean your mental health quality is good."

"That's the same meaning." Gary immediately smiled. "Actually, it's fine. I really am thick-skinned. Congratulations on your recognition."

Celeste looked at him and she was rendered speechless. He was really thick-skinned.

"Hey, what did you say to Mr. Trevino? It's been almost an hour. You've been spending so much time with Mr. Trevino. Aren't you afraid that Mr. Trevino will think that you're a bother?" Celeste thought that since Kendrix always had on an indifferent look, and the atmosphere could be awkward.

However, as long as Gary wanted, he could make sure that there was no awkwardness at where he was present. Moreover, he could control the situation quickly.

"So what if he thinks I'm a bother?" Gary snorted. "Do you think that I'm really such a bother?"

Celeste was stunned by the question. "It's good that you are aware of it."

"What does it have to do with me if they are annoyed by me or if they like me?" Gary didn't care what others thought. "As long as you like me, that's enough." Celeste looked at him and was amused. "Do you really not care about what others think at all?"

"Except for the relatives we care about, the others have nothing to do with me," Gary said, "Don't mind what others think. Just do your own thing."

Celeste was stunned. In fact, she felt that it was how it should be as well after thinking about it,.

One couldn't force everyone to follow the same rules as them, or to force everyone to have the same preference.

"You're right." Celeste agreed with him. "I'm still in a dilemma. If only I could be as open-minded as Aunt Smith."

"Mom is different from you," Gary said. "Actually, both of you have suffered quite a bit. When mom first had me and had to take care of me and my Little Aunt on her own, she toughened up and became immune to all problems."

Speaking of "mother", Celeste felt nervous. Thinking of the lost child, she couldn't help but to feel a little sad and regretful.

Perhaps every arrangement in the world had its own reason.

If she really gave birth to a child, she might not be able to raise it well.

She was not strong enough yet.

She was not qualified to be a mother.

However, when she thought about it, her heart still ached badly.

Gary looked at her dim eyes and instantly understood something. He immediately moved over and pressed his handsome face against hers. He said softly, "There'll will be another child." Celeste looked up suddenly and saw his dark eyes, her mouth slightly parted.

She looked absent-minded and surprised, as if she was saying, "How did you know I was thinking of this?"

Gary said nothing. He merely winked at her and replied in silence.

How could he not understand her?

Celeste was a simple and sensitive little girl.

It had something to do with her environment growing up.

If Gary didn't understand Celeste, how would he have the right to be her boyfriend?

The two looked into each other's eyes as they faced each other.

As he looked at her, the desire in his eyes sparked and he once again approached Celeste.

He stared at her lips, which were slightly parted. It was so inviting without her needing to say anything.

He stared at Celeste's lips and kissed her.

Their lips pressed on each other's.

Gary sighed, wanting to deepen the kiss.

In the car, the atmosphere suddenly became sensual and enchanting.

"Knock knock knock."

Suddenly, someone knocked on the window of the car, interrupting the moment and ruining the mood completely.

Celeste immediately pushed Gary away. Frightened, she lowered her head and covered her lips.

On the other hand, Gary swept a sharp glance at the person who had ruined the moment.

Upon seeing that, he was also stunned for a moment and then laughed.

"It's our Vice Principal, Mr. White," Gary said to Celeste. "Oh no, he's the Principal now."

Celeste was extremely shocked as she raised her gaze. Sure enough, she saw Mr. White outside.

Previously, Mr. White treated them quite well. At that time, he was the Vice Principal.

Then, the Principal was being changed and Mr. White became the Principal himself. Considering the situation, it should be due to Sylvia. Sylvia reported the Principal when she found out that the Principal was harassing female teachers, and then he was fired right away.

Celeste was shocked when she thought about that matter.

No one knew that such a serious matter had something to do with Sylvia.

Sylvia did not claim credit for it either, and she didn't even mention it.

However, Celeste was very surprised because she knew what had happened before.

Gary quickly got off the car, followed by Celeste.

Principal Kingston watched him and Celeste both getting out of the car and smiled faintly. "So, it's really the two of you. I saw you just now and thought I was mistaken. I didn't expect it to be you guys. This must be Celeste, right?"

"Hello, Mr. White." Celeste hurriedly greeted him. "I'm Celeste."

Mr. White immediately laughed and said, "Oh, you've really grown up and become a beautiful girl. I heard that you two are together. Is that true?"

Gary was surprised and asked, "Mr. White, how did you know?"

Mr. White looked at them with a kind smile on his face. "Do I need to even put in much effort to replace out about something?"

Gary smiled and said, "It must be my sister, Sylvia who told you this. She couldn't keep a secret."

Mr. White smiled without saying anything.

"I knew it. She has a big mouth." She Gary knew it was Sylvia without even having to guess. Only she would tell Mr. White about such thing.

"What, are you afraid that I will replace out that you two are dating? I can't control you now, and you don't have to be afraid of me." Mr. White teased with a smile.

"It's not because I'm afraid that you'll replace out. It's just that my sister is very gossipy at such a young age," Gary said.

Mr. White burst into laughter. "I think you're just implying that I'm a little gossipy as well, aren't you?"

"How is that possible?" Gary immediately denied. "You're not someone who likes gossips."

"You're always sharp-tongued." Mr. White looked at them with a smile, and the more he looked at them, the more satisfied he felt. "It's great that you two can be together. You two have to be together for a lifetime, got it?"

Gary nodded immediately. "Of course, Celeste and I will grow old together."

"This is a different realm of life." Mr. White smiled at Celeste.

Celeste looked at Mr. White obediently.

"Do you want to give a speech at the school?" Mr. White asked.

"Forget it," Gary said. "It's still early now."

"Why? Didn't you graduate from a famous university already? How is it still early? Do you still want to wait until you achieve something in your career?" Mr. White asked him.

"At least it has to be after my career is established," Gary said, "Let's wait for a few more years. In five years, if you are still the Principal, I think I should be considered quite a successful person then."

"I'm sure I will be here in five years." Mr. White smiled and said, "Okay, that's it then. I'll be looking for you then. Both you and Celeste will come."

"Of course." Gary readily agreed.

Mr. White looked at them and said with a slight smile, "You guys, go back to the car and continue whatever you were doing just now. I'll leave now. Excuse me for just now, goodbye."

Upon hearing Mr. White's words, Celeste and Gary were both stunned. They looked at each other, slightly surprised.

Did he ask them to go back to the car and continue what they were doing?

What did he mean?

Did Mr. White see them kissing in the car earlier?

Ugh.

He was a Principal but he was so cunning.

Gary somehow found it fun and asked loudly from behind, "Mr. White, what do you mean by saying that?"

Mr. White said without looking back, "It doesn't matter. It's class time. Your brothers and sisters are all in class, so they can't see you."

"Ah!" Celeste sucked in a breath of cold air.

Gary was also startled. He whispered to Celeste, "I didn't expect that Mr. White would be such an open-minded man."

Celeste opened the door and got into the car. She wanted to hide herself.

Gary turned around and saw Celeste's blushing face. He couldn't help but to mock her, "Celeste, even though Mr. White wants us to continue, you don't have to be so impatient, do you?" "Quit saying that." Celeste pouted in embarrassment. "That's so embarrassing."

Gary shrugged and returned to the car. "What's there to be embarrassed about? We're a couple, and it's totally acceptable for us to be doing what we were doing." "Hurry up." Celeste urged, "Leave the campus."
