True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1917
Leah looked at him with red eyes.
Ernest walked over and looked down at Leah. His eyes were filled with heartache.
Leah took a deep breath, looked at him, and said, "Wait for a moment."
As soon as she finished speaking, Leah came out of the room and stood in the hallway. Se looked at Norval and said, "Norval, Ernest is right. You are not qualified to stand up for me. I don't need you to either. I didn't need it before and I won't need it in the future. Please stay away from me."
She didn't think that Norval would be staying next door. When she woke up, she was surprised to replace that Ernest had met up with him.
After knowing that, she felt very awkward and had panicked.
Hearing her words, Norval narrowed his eyes and looked deeply at Leah and said, "Leah, it's still too early to say things like that. You may need me to help you in the future. Even if you don't like me, I'm still your family. If this man bullies you in the future, I can help stand up for you-"
His words were ruthlessly interrupted by Leah.
"No need." Leah sneered then continued, "I don't need your help. Anyway, I'm the one who chose to be with him. It's my business come what may. I've never needed you in the past, so I don't see why I would need you in the future."
She had once needed her mother to stand up for her.
Even though she still had a mother, it was meaningless.
The time when she had needed her mother the most was in the past. At this moment, she did not need her anymore.
Hearing that, Norval seemed to have come to a realization. Perhaps he had already expected the outcome. He forced a smile and stared deeply at Leah.
Those eyes were filled with emotion. Anyone who looked into his eyes would be stunned.
However, Leah did not look at him.
Norval smiled wryly and said, "Alright, Leah. Seeing how strongly you feel about this, I'm not going to push it. Please take care of yourself."
The moment he finished speaking, he smiled slightly. Leah felt discomforted by that smile. She felt very irritated and disgusted by it.
She turned and walked to Ernest.
Ernest put his arms around her and they walked into the room together.
Norval stared at their retreating backs. Even after Ernest closed the door, he did not move.
He remained still in the quiet corridor.
Norval looked at the empty corridor and fixed his eyes on nothing. He looked especially lonely.
Norval let out a long sigh. After he detected a hint of blurriness in his vision, he sighed again as if pitying himself for being so lonely.
After walking through the door, both Ernest and Leah looked at each other.
Leah's eyes were red as she looked at Ernest. She heard Ernest stand up for her out there.
Every word he said was to help her seek justice.
She understood everything at that moment.
She knew that he loved her. He truly did.
At first, she thought that there was no sincerity in Ernest's words. Later, she found that she was completely wrong.
Ernest was being sincere. She shouldn't doubt his feelings for her.
She was ashamed that she had even doubted him before.
She started to apologize with red eyes, "Sorry. I heard most of what you guys said outside. I honestly thought that you didn't really love me." Ernest was stunned and sighed. "Did you think that I was just playing with your feelings? You think I never had plans for us to get married?"
Leah did not dare to look into his eyes because she felt guilty.
That was what she thought before.
Now that she was asked such questions by Ernest, she suddenly thought about how silly she had been.
Ernest raised his eyebrows and looked at her as he said, "You should be confident in yourself. When I first saw you, I thought you were lovely and lively. I didn't expect you to be doubtful."
Leah was taken aback. She lifted her head and looked into Ernest's helpless eyes. She was shocked by what he had just said.
She immediately shook her head. "I'm not a confident person. In fact, I've never been very confident in myself. I've always managed to pretend that I was, though."
Ernest was stunned. He didn't think that she would admit to it directly.
This was Leah's specialty, She always gave him a surprising answer.
He looked at Leah and sighed in his heart. He hugged her and said, "Please be more confident in the future."
Leah pouted. "How can I do that if I have nothing to be confident of?"
"My love for you should help with that," he said. Leah was moved by how firm he sounded.
Leah was taken aback. Then she smiled. "But what if your feelings for me don't last?"
Ernest's hand tightened and he pulled her tighter into his arms and said, "You think I won't last long?"
The innuendo in Ernest's words was clear.
When Ernest asked that question, Leah's mind immediately went down the gutter. It was clear that in that aspect, Ernest's stamina made him last long enough. Every time they finished, Leah would feel exhausted.
"What?"
Seeing that she did not answer, Ernest immediately looked down at the woman and gestured for her to answer him.
Leah looked up at him with a blush on his face. She looked at Ernest and whispered, "You always last very long."
Ernest knew instantly that she understood.
But in the next second, Leah said with a pout, "But what about when you get to your forties? It is said that a man's stamina will go downhill from then

on.
Ernest tightened his grip on Leah's waist. It made her feel a quiet sense of pressure.
Ernest's handsome face darkened menacingly.
Leah raised her head to look at him when she sense the change in him.
She blinked. "It's an inevitable effect caused by aging. You can't deny it, can you?"
"Well then, let's wait till we're forty years old to test that theory out. You will be there with me to test it."
Leah was stunned.
"You're not allowed to go anywhere else," said Ernest, "Because you have to be responsible for me and my health. I want to prove to you that my stamina will remain even if I get older."
"Why are we talking about your stamina all of a sudden? We were talking about how long our relationship would last, weren't we?" Leah whispered, "Don't change the topic."
"That's what I was talking about as well," Ernest said, "Whether it's about s*x or our feelings, I promise that I will forever be by your side,"
Leah's heart trembled.
She lowered her head and remained silent for a long while.
Ernest looked down at her and whispered, "I don't like to make too many promises, but I'm sure you can feel my sincerity. I don't like it when other people try to throw a wrench into our relationship. We may spend most of our time apart from each other but I honestly don't want that to be a problem for us. Leah, be confident in us, okay?"
Leah suddenly raised her head and looked into Ernest's eyes. She finally nodded.
"Good." Ernest smiled.
Leah also laughed and smiled. She looked at Ernest and asked, "Are you hungry? Do you want to get something to eat?"
"I'm really hungry but... I'm not hungry for food." Ernest took Leah's hand and pulled her closer to him.
Leah's eyes widened instantly.
He grinned. "I think you'd better replace a way to satiate this hunger of mine first before we go for a meal."
Leah was so taken off guard by his boldness that she pushed him away. "Why are you insatiable?"
However, he lowered his head to look at the panic-stricken girl and said, "I really need you. I can never hide how much I desire you. I want to sleep with your forever and ever because I love you." Leah felt that it must have something to do with Norval being next door.
She suddenly froze and looked enlightened. She took a deep breath and said, "Well, if I don't have the strength to go downstairs to eat later, can you order in for me?"
Ernest nodded. "Of course. We can order room service."
Leah nodded. "Alright, let's see just how long you can last."
Hearing that, Ernest immediately picked her up and carried her to bed.
He placed Leah on the bed and very quickly pushed himself into her.
Leah let out a loud moan instantly.
In the next room, the man with gold- rimmed glasses lit up a cigarette and smoked silently.
His eyes were narrowed while his other hand was silently clenched into a fist. His whole body emitted a silent rage.
The phone rang.
He took a deep breath, calmed himself down, and
answered the phone.
"Hello, Auntie."
"Norval, have you contacted her?" A woman's voice came from the other side.
Norval said, "Auntie, I'm still thinking of a solution Don't worry about it."
