True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1968
Gary put on an unhurried smile on his face upon seeing her guilty and embarrassed reaction.
He found her adorable for always blushing so easily.
Celeste was even more embarrassed to see him smiling at her. He then said, "Celeste, you finally recalled that. Shouldn't you make it up to me for breaking the promise?" Celeste's body stiffened upon hearing the words "make it up to me", and her shoulders dropped.
Staring at him, Celeste pursed her lips and said with no expression, feeling as if she was being subjected to judgment, "It's up to you."
Gary's lips curled up slightly into a somehow sinister smile.
He lowered his gaze and looked at Celeste, saying slowly, "All right then, since you said so."
Celeste hesitated before forcing herself to ask, "What are you trying to do? It's still daytime and everyone's still around."
"Daytime?" Gary smirked, and that made Celeste's heart skip a beat.
"Were you thinking that I would do that to you in broad daylight?" Gary asked with a smile as his eyes roamed around her body, before fixating on her chest. Celeste was startled. She clearly still had doubts, especially after noticing his gaze full or desires.
Was she wrong?
Wasn't Gary thinking about that?
He had always been talking about that, why wouldn't he be thinking of that as a punishment towards her then?
However, it did seem to her that she made the wrong guess.
Gary's expression seemed to tell otherwise.
Celeste's cheeks turned redder. She felt like she was the one with dirty thoughts.
However, as Gary was continuing to make fun of her, she blushed even harder.
She said in frustration, "I was overthinking then."
Gary smiled faintly as if he was calling her out for her dirty thoughts.
Celeste really couldn't bring herself to face him. She felt like she was no longer rational.
Just as Celeste was feeling extremely tortured with the embarrassment, Gary finally said something slowly.
"You didn't overthink. That was exactly what I had in mind. It's the best compensation a young, passionate and strong man like me could ever ask for."
Celeste's eyes suddenly widened as she realized he was doing that on purpose.
Was he that happy to see her blushing?
Gary laughed out loud.
"Celeste, we indeed know each other the best." Gary approached her and said in a whisper, "We are clearly on the same wavelength to be thinking of the same thing at the same time." Celeste was dumbfounded.
What did he mean?
She wasn't thinking about it at all.
There didn't seem to be any way for her to explain herself.
Celeste felt really awkward. She was just making an assumption based on her experience, and she was actually right.
However, she wasn't thinking about doing that. She didn't even want that.
"I wasn't thinking of it. Stop the nonsense," Celeste denied strongly.
"Did you not?" Gary clearly did not believe her words. "You were the one bringing it up first, claiming that it was still daylight and all."
He kept teasing her and she couldn't stop blushing.
"I was just making a wild guess based on my experience. Didn't you admit you were really thinking of that too?" Celeste tried to defend herself.
"That's why I said we're on the same wavelength," he argued.
Celeste felt like she was making things worse the more she explained. She tried to just step away from him, as she felt like his presence was too overwhelming for her. She started to even feel breathless. Yet, he kept approaching her so despicably despite her trying to back away from him.
"Stay away from me, and keep some distance between us. I want to talk properly." Celeste could only take another step back.
Gary caught up again and approached Celeste step by step, forcing her to retreat again and again.
Finally, she was left with no room to retreat as she came to the edge of the bed. Celeste's breathing grew a little rapid.
"Gary, it's a rare moment that we get to be with everyone here today. We should spend more time with everyone and go out to do something fun, rather than keep doing this." Celeste tried to make him see her point.
To her surprise, he gently placed his palm on her chest instead.
"You're lying," he said slowly.
Celeste gasped. Before she could react, Gary pushed her down gently on the bed, before pressing himself on her.
They were then lying face to face on the bed. Celeste stared at his charming face blankly. His gaze was deep and affectionate, leaving her breathless.
"You abandoned me the whole night, I could only sleep alone. You were worried about me, but you didn't rush to come up to look for me this morning. What should I do with you then? Tell me..." Gary said softly as he looked at her.
"This is just one incident, and I'll never repeat it again. I promise." Celeste was still in an apologetic mood.
He laughed. "Your apology doesn't feel sincere enough. It's just words. Shouldn't you prove your sincerity through some actions too? I'm just being reasonable here anyway." Celeste felt like she could never win when she was with him, and it made her feeling dejected.
"I can still remember what happened last night when we were stargazing!" Celeste could only force herself to bring up what happened the night before despite her being shy. However, Gary cut Celeste off with a smile. "Do you miss it? Should we go again tonight?"
Hearing that, Celeste recalled the scene of her being pinned against the huge tree, and she shook her head immediately.
"If we aren't going there tonight, shouldn't you make it up to me now?" Gary asked.
Celeste was a little embarrassed. "I'm sleepy!"
In fact, the three girls really stayed up all night talking. They almost didn't sleep at all.
The three of them even shared a bed later that night, so it was sure that none of them actually got a good night's sleep.
It was true that she was a little sleepy then because of that.
Celeste originally planned to nap for a couple of hours before gathering together again later on. They could also read some books in the afternoon.
However, Gary was going to ruin her plans if he was going to have it his way.
She neglected his desires after he was made to spend the night on his own, and it seemed like he couldn't hold it back anymore then.
"That's perfect then. We can nap together first. I haven't studied enough anyway."
Celeste continued to refuse. "You should hurry to your studies then. Let's just lie down and nap for a while."
"If we're sleeping together, shouldn't we at least make it more interesting?" Gary asked.
Celeste was somewhat helpless.
"You can tug yourself under the sheets and just sleep. Also, you shouldn't be saying anything. That's what you should be doing." She shoved him aside.
She was physically weaker than him to begin with, so her light shove didn't move him by even an inch. It was as if she was just trying to tickle him.
He lowered his head and then locked lips with her. He didn't want to waste their energy anymore with them trying to convince each other, and decided to just pursue with some real actions. Gary stopped being courteous, as he felt like he had been holding himself back long enough already.
He should just start enjoying it instead, as she was right there with him.
Celeste was still reaching out to shove him away, however, with him kissing her deeper, she could no longer keep him away, and she soon gave in to him.
Gary smiled subtly after noticing her reaction.
The kiss grew deeper.
However, just then, Gary's phone rang.
The timing was really bad. Gary chose to ignore the phone call at first but it kept ringing.
After ringing for three times, Gary had no choice but to answer the call.
It was from Lowell.
"Lowell, why are you looking for me?" Gary asked in a deep voice.
If he made three phone calls, it must be something urgent.
"Gary, are you with Celeste now?" Lowell asked.
It was suspicious for Lowell to ask that. Gary's heart skipped a beat.
He had a bad feeling about it.
