True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 2056
Perhaps it was because they had not been intimate since Celeste decided to break up with him on the cruise. Right then, Gary felt all his blood concentrated in one spot, and he couldn't replace his self-control. It had been a few days since he touched her, and his head was filled with thoughts of her.
That alone was enough to make him lose control.
He wanted to mark her all over.
He wanted to leave a part of him on her body and soul. He wanted her badly and he wanted to be one with her forever.
Therefore, he kissed her so urgently that she couldn't resist him.
"Gary." Celeste struggled as her remaining awareness told her that she couldn't do this.
However, the more she struggled, the more it seemed like she was playing hard to get.
Gary's huge figure was on top of her, and there was no way she could escape.
Women were physically weaker than men.
Her grumbles soon turned into soft moans that enticed him.
They were so in tune with each other since it was not their first time.
He had long understood where to touch her to turn her on and all the ways to make her surrender herself to him.
After one kiss, Celeste felt her vision blurring.
She was starting to feel good.
How could she not be swayed by the man she loved?
But whenever she thought about how close Gary had been with Janice, she felt ill.
Even if he wanted her and even if she couldn't resist, her emotions were clear. She had decided not to let him have his way.
She was sure there would be more if she allowed him this once.
If that happened, breaking up would be impossible.
She felt that it would complicate their relationship if they had sex now.
Perhaps it would make it harder for her to get over it.
Celeste didn't want to lose her mind over this.
She knew she should make things clear between them, unlike Gary, who did whatever he wanted.
The more she indulged him, the more she would lose herself.
Furthermore, he had agreed to the breakup. He knew her character. How could he continue like this and think that they could be together again? She would not allow it to happen.
She couldn't let herself be swayed or let him use sex to offset the conflicts from before.
So Celeste tried her best to push Gary away, but she was not strong enough. His kisses landed on her shoulders, then slowly moved downwards. Since she couldn't resist, she just stopped moving.
She was lying on the bed like a corpse, numbly allowing him to have his way.
She felt so aggrieved that tears pooled in her eyes and started rolling down her face.
He continued downwards.
She did not struggle, nor did she make a sound.
Gary was suddenly shocked to awareness.
Perhaps it was because she did not move, so his mind cleared up.
Good heavens.
What was he doing?
Regaining his rationality, Gary looked up, and his body froze when he saw Celeste's teary face. Her long lashes were wet with tears. He could see the stains on her face, the pillow, and the bed.
His heart clenched and his eyes narrowed when he saw this.
He immediately regained his senses.
It was as if a basin of icy cold water was poured on him, cleansing all his urges.
She was crying.
She didn't want him to touch her.
Gary could feel Celeste's intense love for him, but he could also feel how deeply she rejected him.
Perhaps it was because she loved him so much, that she was rejecting him so much now.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have cried so much so that her whole face was wet with salty tears.
She was so sad, but she didn't make a sound.
Anyone would feel heartbroken to see someone holding back their cries with tears rolling down their faces.
How could his heart not ache? He started to panic as well.
He must have gone mad.
She had never been strong, and yet he made her cry again and again.
She had no other relatives, no powerful background.
She had no one to rely on but herself, and yet he hurt her. He blamed himself for this.
Bitterness rose in Gary's heart, shrouding his world in gray clouds.
He wanted to make Celeste stay, but all he managed to do was push her further and further away.
He called out to her as he got up. Ignoring his emotions, he covered her with the quilt, saying, "Don't cry."
He hugged her and the quilt that covered her, then he lay beside her, trying to wipe the tears off her face.
But the more he wiped, the more her tears began to flow.
Gary's heart ached even more.
He apologized in a low voice. "Please don't cry. It's all my fault. It's my fault."
After saying that, Celeste sobbed even harder, and more tears fell.
He was so sorry he wanted to slap himself.
Unable to control her tears, she continued spiraling, lost in grief.
He didn't know what to do as he was rendered powerless with guilt.
"Don't cry. I won't touch you. I wouldn't go against you, okay? I know I did wrong. I beg you. Please stop crying."
He was begging her.
Gary had no solution at all.
He buried his face in Celeste's neck and whispered in a pleading tone, "I know that you are sad, and I know that you hate me. I'm sorry. I was selfish and ignored your wishes. But I didn't mean to hurt you. I just
couldn't help myself. I lose all control when I touch you, but I love you."
Her heart twisted in pain.
Her lashes were wet as she stared blankly at the ceiling. Her cheeks were still damp, making her seem tiny and pitiful.
"Do you love me, or my body?" she asked faintly.
She finally said something and stopped crying, but he was shocked by her words.
What did she mean by loving her or her body?
He felt a headache as he couldn't understand her.
From Gary's point of view, it was because he loved her, so he craved her. If he had no feelings for her, he wouldn't have any thoughts about her at all.
Celeste was the only woman he had ever fallen in love with.
But it was obvious that she didn't believe him.
Bitterly, he smiled as he said, "Don't you already know the answer?"
"I can't feel it at all," she denied directly out of spite.
He stared at her intensely before saying in a hoarse voice, "Is that so?"
After he finished speaking, he let go of her hand.
Gary stood up as he looked down at Celeste. There was a look of desolation on his face.
"I deserve it for not making it obvious to you."
He laughed mockingly at himself. His smile was so forced that it hurt.
Celeste opened her mouth and wanted to say something, but in the end, she said nothing.
However, Gary's sad expression made her heart hurt too.
"It doesn't matter. But my heart has
only ever beat faster for you. Because I love you, I couldn't hold
back my urges for you at all only
you can make me lose my senses."
"I know you must hate Janice now. But I swear, I never felt anything for her."
Hearing his explanation, she pressed her lips together and said nothing.
He smiled and did not give any other explanations. He stared at her for a few seconds before leaving.
His footsteps were heavy.
The door gently closed, but she felt a pang in her heart. That pain radiated from her heart to every part of her body.
Was Gary mad?
Was he disappointed?
Celeste smiled bitterly at her actions. She didn't know when to stop, and she kept making a fuss about everything.
She didn't like this version of her, but she couldn't help it.
She was afraid.
She didn't even know what she was afraid of, but she could feel it so clearly.
Celeste sat up from the bed and looked down at herself. There were still some traces Gary left on her body.
It was as if they were mocking her for being such a drama queen, wanting to break up but reluctant to leave.
