"Aren't you afraid that Kendrix will be mad when he hears about this deal?" Ernest was not a fool, but he did want to know Kendrix's secret.

He narrowed his eyes as he looked at Claudia, trying to figure out how sincere she was.

However, she shot him a smile and said frankly, "Who cares? I've finally met someone who I can call a worthy opponent. Do you expect me to stop here? Plus, what does it matter to me if he gets angry? He doesn't care about me anyway."

"I see. So, you aren't a couple," Ernest responded.

"I'll tell you everything if you win," she said.

"What if I don't want to fight?" Ernest smiled.

"Then there's nothing you can do. You won't get to know the secret then." Claudia lifted her chin slightly, looking proud.

Ernest replied, "There is no such thing as secrets. Everything will come to light sooner or later. Even the relationship you have with Kendrix."

"Many people already know we're engaged." She shrugged and added, "So, do we continue this fight? You have nothing to lose. And perhaps I'll be happy about you agreeing to this and give Kendrix to your sister."

"Who needs your kindness?" He arched his eyebrows proudly. He did not need her to show Sylvia kindness. After all, Slyvia deserved a man who loved her.

"Well, I apologize for my words then," Claudia said, apologizing immediately.

Ernest frowned. He had not expected Claudia to apologize without making a big fuss about it.

It was hard to hate her.

He frowned, thinking that things were getting trickier than he expected.

"Okay, I forgive you." He nodded.

"So, what's your decision? Fight or no fight?" Her eyes lit up.

"Let's fight." He smiled. "Since you're so eager to fight, I'll accept the deal."

"Great! I like decisive men like you, not those p*ssies who take so long to decide on something." She smiled, showing her pearly whites.

Ernest was so stunned that he almost choked.

It was the first time he heard someone describing himself that way.

He found it funny as he had always thought of himself as a decisive man.

He just disliked going up against women as he was a gentleman through and through.

But it was apparent that Claudia was looking for a fight, so he had no choice but to oblige.

With that, he let go of his inhibitions and prepared to get serious.

At the same time, Gary and Kendrix were engaged in a fierce tussle.

Gary looked like he was taking out all his frustrations on Kendrix. Kendrix also seemed like he was venting all his negative emotions in the fight.

Neither of them held back. They both used all their strength.

Of course, both of them had sustained injuries.

Gary's chin was bruised while the corner of Kendrix's mouth bled. However, their injuries did not make them look pitiful. Instead, it made them look dangerous. Upon closer inspection, one could see the similarities they shared.

Boom!

Their fists collided, making a loud noise as they both stumbled backward at the same time.

They were panting as they looked at each other.

Gary smiled as he glared at Kendrix. "What a joke you are, Kendrix. Claudia isn't your woman, admit it."

As he spoke, he glanced at Claudia and Ernest. The two of them had already started fighting.

Claudia was fierce, but because she was a woman, she was weaker than Ernest.

Although she was skillful, she was no match for Ernest.

Ernest was about to defeat her, but she did not give up, continuously trying hard to land blows on him.

Gary then turned his head back to look at Kendrix. "Shall we continue?"

Kendrix sneered. "Of course! We don't have a clear winner yet, so how can we end it now?"

As he spoke, he charged at Gary again.

"Motherf*cker!" Gary cursed and started dodging Kendrix's attacks.

Kendrix had long forgotten about etiquette as he vented his emotions through the punches he threw at Gary.

Gary frowned. He had not expected Kendrix to be so strong.

Well, it did mean Kendrix would be able to protect Sylvia. Gary thought to himself.

As they continued to fight, Gary glanced at

Kendrix's leg. Kendrix's face fell immediately when he noticed it.

He was a student of psychology and knew a lot about criminal psychology. When he noticed the

glance at his leg, his heart skipped a beat.

Seeing through Gary's thoughts, Kendrix's fury exploded.

He aimed a heavy blow at Gary.

Boom!

"Ouch!"

Gary let out a muffled groan after getting punched in his chest.

"D*mn it!" he cursed under his breath.

Kendrix had forced him one step back. Gary frowned and looked at the seemingly calm Kendrix. But he knew that Kendrix was furious. Anger raged within Gary.

Gary forced himself to calm down, then charged toward Kendrix.

He threw two consecutive punches at Kendrix.

They hit Kendrix's lower abdomen.

How could Gary let Kendrix have his way? Gary thought grimly.

He was sure to make Kendrix pay for the blow earlier.

Gary had never been a pushover, so he had to return the favor with interest.

Kendrix did not show signs of backing down as he threw a few punches at Gary.

The two were panting as they looked at each other, and finally, the fight came to an end.

They were both clearly injured.

Meanwhile, Ernest kicked Claudia, and she fell to the ground.

She hissed from the pain.

"It hurts! You really did go all out."

"You were the one who wanted this fight. How can you be complaining about the pain now?" Ernest said as he looked down at her. "Concede. You're not my match."

"How would I know a gentle-looking man like you would be so good at fighting?" Claudia was still in disbelief.

"It's a natural talent. So, is this you admitting defeat?" he asked.

She lay on the ground with a faint smile on her face. "If I don't admit defeat now, are you going to kick me again?"

"Probably," he admitted right away.

е

"It's not like I care about what happens to you." "Just because I'm not anyone to you?" "No. Because you're Kendrix's fiancee," Ernest said. "You can blame him for this."

Claudia chuckled and got up. She dusted her clothes as she looked at Ernest. "Okay. I admit defeat."
