Sylvia was blushing furiously. How could she resist Kendrix's charm?

She suddenly felt that Kendrix was born to flirt. The seriousness on his face when he spoke coupled with his ambiguous actions formed a strong contrast. The difference was shocking! She felt an intense feeling shot through her entire body. She was no match for him.

At the same time, Sylvia also wondered whether Kendrix had ever been in love.

He seemed to know what he was doing. It sure looked like he had dated someone before.

At the thought that he might have liked another girl before, her heart started to ache.

No.

She could not bear the thought.

She was jealous.

She narrowed her eyes and suddenly looked up at Kendrix. Then, she asked eagerly, "Can I ask you a question?"

Kendrix also noticed that she seemed a little off.

She changed in an instant.

She looked very anxious. It was as if something was troubling her.

"Sure. Go ahead." He nodded.

"Okay, I'm going to ask you one question. No matter what, you have to tell me the truth. You can't hide anything from me," Sylvia said seriously.

Kendrix was stunned for a moment. Then, he noticed the serious look on Sylvia's face.

"Why do you sound so serious? Come on, tell me." He wanted to know what was troubling her and made her look so serious.

"Have you ever had a girlfriend?" Sylvia decided to rip the bandaid and asked, not caring about what Kendrix might think of the question.

While asking, Sylvia kept her eyes fixed on Kendrix's face. She did not want to miss any of his reactions.

Kendrix was stunned at first. Then, he looked straight into Sylvia's eyes, his gaze sharpened.

Sylvia felt her heart tighten. Judging by the look on his face, it seemed to indicate that he probably dated before.

She was not sure.

She suddenly felt a chill ran down her spine.

What happened if Kendrix did have a dream girl?

What should she do?

Could she take it?

Sylvia did not think that she was capable of asking such a question. Kendrix was already her boyfriend then, so why did she have to dwell on the past?

However, deep down, she did mind that she might potentially not be his first love.

She looked at Kendrix nervously, hoping that his answer was no.

Kendrix stared at her for a while. He noticed how uneasy she looked.

After a long pause, he was about to answer her question.

A phone suddenly rang.

The loud and clear ringing of the phone suddenly brought them both back to their senses.

They were both stunned.

It was Claudia's phone. She left it on the coffee table.

The two of them looked at each other and almost subconsciously distanced themselves from each other.

That was because both of them knew very well that once Claudia's phone rang, she would definitely come out of the room to answer it.

Sure enough, Claudia opened the bedroom door and said with a smile, "I think my phone's ringing."

Sylvia composed herself, her lips twitching a little. She said, "Yes, your phone is ringing."

Claudia quickly walked over and picked up her phone from the coffee table. "Hello? Oh, okay, I'll come down right away. Please wait for a moment."

Claudia immediately hung up the

phone and said to Kendrix and Sylvia, "I ordered some food. The delivery guy is downstairs. The

management do not allow any net

delivery personnel to come up to our apartment units. I'll have to go downstairs and get it myself."

"Oh!" Sylvia also stood up and volunteered, "I'll come with you."

"There's no need. I can go and get it myself. You can stay here and accompany Kendrix!" Claudia said.

"He doesn't need me to accompany him." Sylvia was determined to go downstairs with Claudia. Although Kendrix did not answer her question earlier she was already feeling as if she was getting suffocated. She did not want to stay there alone with him.

She knew that she was not that tough, and she really did not want to hear it from Kendrix's

mouth.

Kendrix was also stunned. He frowned and looked at Sylvia, his gaze further sharpened.

Claudia was very surprised. She looked at Sylvia, and then at Kendrix. She wondered what the hell was going on. What exactly happened between the two of them?

Could it be that something had happened between them right after she closed her room door? It only had been a short while. Why did Sylvia not want to stay there and accompany Kendrix? Why did it feel like she was trying to run away from something? Sylvia did not look at Claudia or Kendrix. She just walked straight to the door.

Kendrix glanced at Claudia as his gaze deepened, before he subtly turned to look at the slender figure walking towards the door. His brows furrowed even more.

Claudia did not even need to guess to know what had happened. She could sense the tension in the air.

She pouted at Kendrix and made a gesture. Then, she hurriedly followed Sylvia towards the door.

Kendrix sat on the sofa and frowned.

Sylvia and Claudia opened the door and went out.

The door slammed shut.

Claudia looked at Sylvia, who was looking at the ground as she walked, not saying a word. Claudia noticed that she looked a little disappointed.

Claudia could not help but to ask, "Hey, what happened between the two of you? Weren't you guys getting along just moments ago? Why does it suddenly seem like there's tension between you two now?"

At the mention of that, Sylvia suddenly felt a lump in her throat, but she still tried her best to hold it in. She stood up straight, but her eyes were full of sadness and loss.

"What's wrong?" Claudia asked again.

"Don't ask. I don't want to talk about it now." Sylvia was afraid that she would cry as soon as she spoke.

Claudia was stunned again. She was also shocked by her reaction.

"All right. I know you must be in a bad mood now, but it's not like you to keep everything to yourself. You don't even look like yourself now."

"Did you notice that too?" Sylvia suddenly raised her head and looked at Claudia. "Do you also think that I don't look like myself anymore?"

"Yes." Claudia nodded. "You really

don't look like yourself. You used to be so confident. I don't understand, Why do you look so disappointed? You've already gotten what you want. Dknow what's happening between you and Kendrix. I'm sure you two are together. You might not have told anyone, but I can see it for myself."

Sylvia did not hide anything that time and nodded. "Yes, Kendrix has already agreed to be my boyfriend, but I don't know why, I still feel that it's unreal."

"What do you mean? He agreed to be your boyfriend. What's so unreal about it?" Claudia was very puzzled.

"That's because I have a feeling that I'm not Kendrix's first love. I'm sure he has dated before, and has been deeply in love with another girl before. That's why he looks so experienced with it."

"Pfft!" Claudia burst into laughter. "Don't tell me this is the reason you're acting like this."

"This is a big deal! Tell me quickly, did Kendrix have a girlfriend before? Did he like her very much? Does he have a dream girl in his heart?"
