True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 273
Heinz knitted his brows and was lost in thought.
His mind couldn't be read as he glazed blankly into the distance.
Jensen couldn't help but ask, "Can you tell me what are you so mad at?"
"Shut up," Heinz said coldly. "Don't talk to me."
"I don't want to talk to you either, but aren't you my buddy?" Jensen said. "Looking at your angry face makes me very flustered, do you know that?"
"You don't have to look at me," Heinz replied in a cold voice.
Jensen moved forward and crouched down in front of him.
He fixed his gaze on Heinz. There was a tinge of excitement in his eyes.
"I'm serious, Heinz. If I were you, I would go and have a look," he said cautiously, hoping that Heinz would get to the bottom of the truth once he got there. Heinz returned his gaze and said in an impatient tone, "Why would I check on the woman who had lied to me about a child she had outside of marriage?" "So, what's bothering you exactly? Grace giving birth to a child, or lying to you?" Jensen asked.
"She lied to me," Heinz said in a deep voice.
Jensen pursed his lips and said again, "It doesn't seem so to me. If it's really because of that, you would have forgiven her after she apologized to you."
Heinz frowned and said, "It's a fact that she lied to me." "My instinct as a man and also my understanding of you told me that what you care about was her giving birth to a child who doesn't belong to you. That's why you were so infuriated that you called it quit with her," Jensen explained.
Heinz was silent and couldn't say a word.
Jensen knew he was right when Heinz didn't respond. "You can only blame yourself for not being able to accept her past. Grace knew it so she decided not to work things out with you." "What did you say?" Heinz raised his eyebrows and asked, "Have you met Grace?"
"Yes, not only that I met with her, her sister is now my girlfriend," Jensen said conceitedly. "Think about it, if you work it out with Grace, we might become family in the future."
Heinz frowned again and asked, "What the hell are you thinking?"
"I like Alice. I have special feelings for her, so I pursued her," Jensen said.
"What did you mean about Grace?" Heinz lit up a cigarette and started smoking.
Jensen replied, "She said that you're not suitable for her."
He pinched the cigarette with his fingers so hard that the cigarette was almost broken.
Jensen shrugged and said frankly, "Look, you gave her the cold shoulder. But in fact she was the one who brushed you off. She wasn't honest with you because she could see that you're not sincere enough. And now you're here being difficult? Keep going then, no one is going to tend to you."
"Did she really say that I'm not suitable for her?" Heinz questioned again. His voice was cold and filled with dissatisfaction.
How could she say that about him? Not only did she lie to him, but now she even detested him?
"Yes," Jensen nodded in all seriousness. "She said you are not a good match."
"Hmph," Heinz suddenly gave out a cold laugh. He said sarcastically, "Who she thought she was? A clean and pure woman? She's just a woman with a secret child!"
"Oh!" Jensen exclaimed in astonishment. "You finally exposed your thoughts. Sooner or later you're going to be slapped in the face."
"It's none of your business." Heinz didn't care about his words at all. He was even pissed off now.
"I wouldn't have bothered if you weren't my best friend." Jensen said in a low voice, "You're not in your right mind."
"Get the hell out of here," Heinz yelled.
Jensen couldn't resist his anger anymore. He said, "You rejected her right away without even bothering to ask about the child. You're too dogmatic." "Why are you feeling sorry for her?" Heinz suddenly shouted. "Oh, now I remember. Didn't you say that you might have been with Grace that night? Maybe the child is yours."
Jensen was going crazy.
He stared at Heinz with wide eyes and shouted angrily, "Heinz Jones! Are you out of your mind?"
"You dare not admit it huh?" Heinz was fuming with anger. He had been upset enough, being criticized by his best friend was not helping it.
He was overwhelmed with rage and jealousy.
It drove him crazy to think that Jensen might be the father of Grace's child.
What Heinz said had also driven Jensen up the wall.
He gritted his teeth and growled, "You b*stard. You didn't seem to care at all when I told you before. I've always thought you have looked past it. So it turned out that you actually took it to heart. You have a black heart indeed."
"What did you do when Grace told you about it?"
"Yeah I do wish to have a child, but I'm not that lucky."
"That child is not mine. Grace and I had never been in a relationship before. It was a b*stard who had a thing with her."
Jensen looked at Heinz and scolded, "B*stard!"
Heinz's face darkened, he looked as if everyone was indebted to him.
Jensen continued roaring, "If you mind her past, why did you even start a relationship with her? And now you're being irresponsible after taking advantage of her. Are you nuts?" "Yeah I am," Heinz said coldly. "I can't promise not to lay a hand on you if you keep sticking up for her."
"Go on." Jensen said, "If not, you'd think I'm afraid of you."
As Jensen said that, he began rolling up his sleeves and was ready to fight.
Heinz stubbed out his cigarette and stood up.
With a slight movement, he lifted his hand and punched Jensen.
"D*mn it," Jensen cried out. "Don't you have any decency? Why are you beating me up so suddenly? You b*stard!"
