True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 313
Grace frowned.
Heinz decided to be gentler so he softened his tone, "I admit that I have a lot of shortcomings, but I'm not that heinous. You can't deny that I'm actually a good person."
Grace kept silent.
"Ask yourself, am I a heinous man?" asked him.
Grace questioned herself and concluded that Heinz was not that kind of person. However, they were not suitable for each other, and she was afraid that he would hurt her so much that she would rather die. She was afraid that she wasn't strong enough for that.
"See? You can't even give me an answer." Heinz's tone became softer and even a little sad as he continued, "Grace, since I am not a heinous man, why don't you give me a chance?"
It had to be said that he was eloquent, but she remembered how he had hurt her, and she felt a burst of panic inside.
She was traumatized.
"I think the two of us are already very intimate with each other. You came to me because I wasn't a bad person. Just like you said, you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me.
What happened afterwards was my fault, I was too impulsive and said whatever I wanted because I cared about you. If I didn't care about you, I wouldn't be so mad.
The thought of my woman having a child with another man made me overwhelmed with jealousy, and I admit that I was not level headed then.
Now, I have it all figured out. I really don't want to lose you. You are thousands of times more important than my pride.
Grace, come back to me. We are very suited to each other," Heinz finished his words in one breathe.
Grace was rendered speechless. His words were so sweet that it made her want to cry.
He was being emotional and persuasive. However, if he had said these words before hurting her, she would not be so afraid. She really didn't know what to do now.
She looked up at Heinz and said, "Heinz, let me go if you still have an ounce of care for me."
Heinz blinked his sharp eyes and said, "Then, promise me that you won't go back today, stay with me."
Grace frowned immediately.
Of course, Heinz's sharp eyes caught it in an instant.
He was able to succeed in the business world with deep shrewdness. If it wasn't for his feelings, he wouldn't be so impulsive.
Grace didn't say anything.
He knew that Grace was still upset.
"It seems that you're not willing to," Heinz sighed and said helplessly.
Grace remained silent and lowered her head.
But Heinz reached out his hands to untie the knot of the tie around her wrists.
Grace was stunned. She raised her head stiffly and looked at him. She was completely puzzled.
"I actually feel very bad about tying you up," he said with a touch of pity in his tone. Especially when he looked at her red wrist and her fair skin was covered with bruises, his voice immediately became more distressed, "Your skin has turned red."
Grace was even more stunned. Was this the Heinz she knew?
"There," he said as he took back his wrinkled tie, but it was still useless.
Grace stared blankly at the tie in his hand.
He threw his tie on the floor and looked at Grace, asking, "What should I do? Grace, I'm getting more and more reluctant to let you go."
Heinz's voice was full of husky magnetism, coupled with the way he looked at Grace. He was so gentle and affectionate that Grace was momentarily overwhelmed.
Suddenly, he stretched out his hand and held Grace in his arms.
Grace was shocked, but she was already held by Heinz. She felt anxious and subconsciously reached out to push him until her hand touched his firm chest.
Heinz's hoarse voice reached her ears, "It's been a few days. I missed you very much, Grace."
Grace didn't move.
Then, Heinz's hand roamed provocatively.
Grace's whole body turned stiff. She panicked and her eyes avoided his.
"Did you miss me?" He pinched her waist and asked softly. His tone was so seductive, it was hard to resist.
Grace turned her face away and didn't utter a word.
Heinz realized that she was not as stubborn as before, so he felt a little better. Maybe she liked his gentleness. Looking at Grace, he was encouraged, and there was a flame burning in his eyes that was gradually growing. Grace understood Heinz's emotions. She then said in a remote voice, "Don't touch me. I don't want to do this."
She was not in the mood.
Heinz withdrew his hand and looked at her, saying, "Alright, I won't touch you. Do consider what I've said." Grace nodded, "Okay, I'll think about it."
Heinz stood up and said, "I'll go downstairs and tell the butler that you're having dinner here."
"I'm not having dinner here," Grace shook her head.
Heinz ignored her refusal and continued, "If you don't want to have dinner, then let's have sex. You choose, dinner or sex?"
Grace had no choice but to choose the lesser of two evils. Naturally, she had no choice but to have dinner.
Seeing that she was speechless, he went downstairs to make arrangements.
Grace took the opportunity to take out her phone and informed Alice that she was safe and that she would come back at a later time.
After putting down the phone, she quickly tidied up her clothes.
Suddenly, the phone on the floor rang.
Grace looked over and saw that it was in Heinz's suit pocket.
She glanced at it and ignored the phone.
But then, the phone rang again.
Grace thought that she couldn't let Heinz hear the ringing to prevent him from rushing back upstairs, so she wanted to silence the phone. She wanted to stay alone for a while and sort out her emotions. As a result, she picked up his coat and took out the phone. Immediately, she saw the caller ID: Son.
That word stunned Grace.
With a buzz, she felt as if her brain had exploded.
Son?
Whose son?
Grace picked up the phone absent-mindedly.
A child's voice came from the other end of the phone, "Dad, I have something to discuss with you, are you free now?"
Grace felt as if her heart had been stabbed by a dagger and she was in great pain.
"Ernest?" She asked. The voice sounded so familiar.
She could almost recognize it subconsciously. It was Ernest, Ernest Jones.
Ernest was also stunned and asked in return, "Are you Auntie Grace? Gary's Mom?"
"It's me," Grace answered. She was flustered, and her tone was a little anxious, "Ernest, is Heinz your father?"
Ernest paused for a moment and replied, "Yes, he's my father. Auntie, why is my father's phone with you?"
Grace pursed her lips and bit them until they almost bled. She said, "Ernest, I, I'm your father's friend. Your father is busy right now. Can you call him tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow?" Ernest was confused, but he still said obediently, "Okay, Auntie Grace."
"Thank you, Ernest." Grace was even more flustered, the hand that was holding the phone was already trembling.
"Auntie, you're welcome," Ernest laughed. He was definitely a precocious child. "Auntie, that's all. I'm going to hang up now."
"Alright," she said.
He then hung up the phone.
Grace's hands were still trembling.
She took a deep breath, put the phone back into the suit pocket quickly, and threw the suit onto the
ground.
