True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 331
Grace paused for a moment and gazed at Heinz. She wanted to scrutinize Heinz's emotions, to see if he had already known something. But on second thought, Grace felt that she might be thinking too much.
"How could he possibly know?" She thought to herself,
"Yes, Heinz shouldn't have known because no one told him. Could it be... he noticed something?"
Nevertheless, she told herself that Heinz would have questioned her the moment he suspected something since he was so impulsive.
Then, why did he bring her here without saying anything about it?
Therefore, Grace came to the conclusion that it should be a mere coincidence.
She felt that Heinz didn't know anything about that night.
To her, that night was just an incredibly embarrassing memory anyway.
Since she wanted nothing to do with him, she didn't want to bring it up again.
The only way she could make Heinz give up on pestering her with questions was to irritate him.
Thinking of that night, Grace nodded and said frankly, "Yes, that night, I wanted to confess my love to Simon. If I've succeeded, perhaps something would've happened that night. I wouldn't refuse Simon if he wants it."
Heinz frowned when he listened to her words.
"I did think about what I should do that night. However, he was with my sister. I'm glad that I'm not with him anymore. People like him are not suitable for me," Grace added.
Heinz looked at her calm expression, and his eyes gradually became gloomy. He asked indifferently, "Then, what kind of person suits you?"
Grace replied, "I don't know what kind of person is suitable for me, but I know that the person is definitely not you."
"Ha!" Heinz chuckled and said, "But I think you are very suitable for me. I have to thank Marry for plotting against both Simon and you on that day. Otherwise, we wouldn't have met each other." Grace was stunned and looked at him suspiciously.
Heinz smiled again and continued, "To be honest, I truly think that it's a great fate that Marry took Simon away.
And you are destined to be my woman, so I am glad that Marry had schemed against you that night. Or else, I might not be able to get my hands on you, am I right?"
Upon hearing his words, Grace's heart missed a beat. Noticing how he had mentioned it twice, she suspected that Heinz had already known it.
In the end, Heinz's faint smile remained on his face. He obviously understood what Grace was thinking.
She didn't want to admit it.
It seemed to him that this girl really didn't want to be with him at all. Was hethat bad?
Was he that unlikable?
Grace said in an icy tone, "So what if you have me? I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore. Don't you understand?"
"I like you," Heinz suddenly said in a booming voice.
Grace was instantly stunned.
Heard those words, she felt a strange sensation in her heart.
"No, you don't like me," Grace shook her head. "It's just because of your possessiveness. You only think that I'm the first person to go against you and doesn't want anything to do with you. Hence, you take it as a provocation. You think I'm provoking your authority."
Heinz was startled and he looked at her with doubt. Was she really talking about him?
Was he such a j*rk?
Heinz suppressed his anger, and after a heavy pause, he said bluntly, "I'll change."
Grace was stunned once again.
She looked at Heinz in disbelief as she thought, was he really the Heinz that she knew?
What did he say? Did he say that he would change?
Seeing that she was surprised, Heinz subsequently explained, "I know I have a lot of flaws. I'll change whatever you don't like about me. Is that alright?" The hurtful words that she wanted to hurl at him were gone in an instant.
Deep down, Grace understood that she couldn't say them anymore after he had admitted his mistakes.
Seeing his behaving like this, she was speechless.
She pursed her lips. After a long while, she said, "What on earth do you want to do?"
"I want to thank you," he said sincerely.
"Thank me for what?" Grace asked.
"Follow me," he said as he took her hand and walked towards the tent.
Grace had an unspeakable feeling in her heart. She had always felt that Heinz was a very strange man.
She wondered what he meant. She was held by him and they walked to the front of the tent. Grace took a look at this place, and the scene from six years ago flashed in front of her eyes. She felt extremely ironic.
The innocent youthful love was, in fact, nonsense.
She was young and couldn't figure out what her life represented. She didn't even know what she wanted, how could she possibly know what others were thinking?
A love without reason would only lead to more mistakes. Every decision they made would be a mistake.
When Grace was deep in her thoughts, Heinz dragged her into the tent.
She was pulled back to reality and asked, "Why did you pull me in?"
"I want to confess something to you," Heinz answered.
Grace suddenly felt nervous for some reason.
Heinz then asked her to sit down whereas he knelt on one knee in front of her.
When they looked into each other's eyes, Grace's heart missed a beat again.
Grace abruptly realized something.
"Grace." Heinz said slowly, "You have been asking me whether I had slept with any woman other than my ex-girlfriend."
Grace was dumbfounded when she heard his words.
"I've never admitted it because there was only one time, and that night was too chaotic. I didn't want to mention it to others because after that night, I couldn't be a man anymore. That was until I met you. Having you in my life, I've recovered and once again retrieved the dignity of being a man," Heinz explained.
Grace frowned and asked impatiently, "What exactly are you trying to say?"
"Grace, there's no rush. Let me explain slowly," Heinz simply replied.
"I don't want to listen to your explanation anymore. It is meaningless to me," Grace said.
"No," Heinz shook his head. "It means a lot to you."
Grace frowned again.
"That night, I helped Jensen to arrest a criminal. I was injured and drugged. When I was at this resort, I was dragged into the tent by a woman. She was very enthusiastic. As soon as I opened my mouth, she kissed me to stop me from speaking. Without a word, she slept with me that night," Heinz said.
Grace's face turned a shade of dark red all of a sudden, spreading towards her ears.
"Is he talking about me?" Grace wondered.
Heinz stared at Grace, and a dark light flashed in his deep eyes.
She was shy.
Yes, it was she who took the initiative that night. It was dark in the tent and he couldn't see anything. He couldn't resist her.
Grace's heart was beating like a drum when Heinz stared at her. She had a bad feeling.
Did he know that it was her?
Heinz continued, "And just like that, I had unknowingly slept with that woman. She was very enthusiastic and we did it several times."
At this moment, Grace's face was blushing hard.
"Stop, don't say anymore," Grace shouted hurriedly.
"No," Heinz said and stared into her eyes. "I'm going to say it."
Grace's heart was beating wildly and she felt like it was about to jump out from her throat.
He looked at the woman in front of him and took in Grace's emotion.
"Heinz, you know, don't you?" Grace could no longer pretend to be calm and asked him.
