Her hair was blown dry.

Therefore, Alice switched off the hairdryer.

The room became quiet again. Only the sound of breathing could be heard.

It was eerily quiet that it gave out scary vibes. Even the sound of a pin dropping could be heard.

Jensen looked at her and some of the strong emotions that had once filled his eyes were now faded. However, that all changed when his eyes met Alice's.

He found that his emotions, which he had finally suppressed with much effort, surged again.

Jensen turned his face away and didn't dare to look at her anymore.

He took the hairdryer and placed it on the table to cool it down. After it had cooled down, he kept it away.

Alice's dark and thick long hair was scattered on her back.

Her long hair made her face look even smaller. When she smiled, her face was only as big as a palm.

Her cheeks were also tinted red. After some hesitation, she uttered, "Hey, Jensen."

"Hmm?" He quickly glanced at Alice, then shifted his gaze away again. He didn't dare to continue looking at her.

"We... last night..." After hesitating for a while, Alice blurted out, "Did anything happen between us?"

Jensen was taken aback. Didn't she have any memory of what had happened?

When Alice saw that Jensen was stupefied, she was also surprised and felt uneasy. She muttered, "What I mean is, did anything substantial happen between us?"

Jensen was even more astonished.

It turned out that she didn't remember what had happened.

It would be a totally different experience if something had happened between them. But she didn't know the difference at all.

If that was the case, could he lie to her in good faith and said that they had slept together the day before? Would that be able to help her overcome the emotional trauma in her heart?

There was a fierce battle in Jensen's mind, causing him to hesitate in what to reply to her question. If he lied to Alice, she would be very angry when she found out about the truth.

However, if he didn't seize the opportunity, he was afraid that after she knew that nothing had happened between them, she would shrink back into her shell and never get out of her emotional trauma. Alice saw him hesitate and didn't answer her question.

She immediately widened her eyes and said, "Something did happen, right?" "No!" Jensen blurted out.

At that moment, he chose to deny it and felt relieved.

"Alice, initially I wanted to lie to you, but I was afraid that my lies would disappoint you even more." Jensen calmed down a lot and answered, "Last night, we almost did it but we didn't in the end. So, don't worry. Don't be afraid."

Alice was stunned. Nothing had happened between them.

Her face suddenly turned pale.

Suddenly, she asked in a sharp voice, "Why didn't you lie to me? You should have lied to me."

Jensen was dumbfounded and asked, "What are you talking about? Why would I lie to you?"

Alice, who was feeling dejected, smiled bitterly. Her initial shyness and embarrassment were all gone at that instance.

"I..." She murmured, "I am hopeless."

At first, she was both worried and afraid that something had happened between them. But now that she knew nothing had happened, she was also very anxious because that meant she had not overcome her

trauma.

Her body could not accept men.

And the man in front of her was quite good.

He would blush and had a good conscience. Furthermore, he couldn't bear to lie to her.

Jensen was shocked. He immediately took the glass of water that he had prepared earlier and handed it to her, saying, "You... you should drink some water first. Don't act like this, Alice."

When Alice saw that he was so clumsy and worried, she took the water and drank it all up.

"Thank you." She said with difficulty, "As you can see, I may be stuck like this forever."

"No!" Jensen shook his head and said, "Don't be burdened by your emotions."

"How can I not?" Alice replied sadly, "If something did happen between us, it proves that I am normal. But since nothing happened, that means I am still abnormal."

Jensen stared blankly and helplessly at the dispirited lady before him. He felt that he couldn't follow her train of thoughts.

She really surprised him too much.

She actually wished that they had slept together.

Jensen took a deep breath and was about to say something when he suddenly saw Alice hold her face in both hands and cried.

Tears flowed out of the gap between her slender fingers. She cried silently, without the slightest sound.

Jensen really didn't know what was wrong with her. When he saw that she was in such a bad mood, he could only comfort her and said, "Alice, don't cry. Please, don't cry." He was truly a clumsy man.

Alice sighed in her heart. He was so foolish that even she felt ashamed for him.

Alice put her hands down and her eyes sparkled with tears.

She looked at him with glittering long eyelashes and said, "Jensen."

"Hmm?" asked Jensen, who was startled once again.

"I'm unwilling to accept it," Alice said again.

"What?" Jensen couldn't understand her words at that moment.

What was she unwilling to accept?

But in a blink of an eye, Alice reached out and grabbed his arm.

Jensen was dazed, and his whole body stiffened.

A man's arm was the symbol of strength.

Alice pulled him over. She knelt on the bed and approached him.

Jensen couldn't concentrate anymore.

"A- Alice." He looked at her in astonishment and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Alice instantly pounced on Jensen and hugged him.

Jensen trembled at once.

Alice had already locked his lips with hers straightaway.

Jensen made a noise from his closed mouth. He didn't expect that when she said she was unwilling to accept it, what she meant was she wanted to give it another try.

"This silly girl, what is she doing? Does she know that I can't stand this?" Jensen thought helplessly.

"Alice." The moment Jensen found a chance to breathe, he quickly whispered, "Listen to me, let's not do this." "Jensen, I don't care. I'll try again." Alice decided to go ahead regardless. Her blushing face was the color of a fiery rose as she said with determination, "I will go ahead no matter what. I choose to be shameless. Don't worry about me."

She was very bold and stretched out her hand.

Jensen couldn't think straight anymore. His body responded immediately to Alice's actions.

He could only embrace her, wishing badly that he could rub his body into hers.

She simply threw herself at him without any strategy but full of passion.

Nonetheless, he was worried that after so long, if he still couldn't penetrate into her at the critical moment, he might be emotionally scarred.

However, she was very enthusiastic.

Jensen was on the verge of breaking down. He hugged her in his arms and decided not to think anymore.

But at that very moment, she began to tremble again as if she had experienced the crudest treatment.

Fear swept over her, and she cowered again.

"Don't hurt me. Please don't. I beg you not to do this to me," Alice cried.

The same words flowed from her mouth.

Jensen was shocked and looked at her regretfully. The sweat on his face continued to drip. He embraced Alice and comforted her softly, "I won't hurt you. Don't worry. It's alright. Alice, I'm here. It's okay." Once again, they couldn't continue at the last minute.

Jensen had exhausted all his strength. He thought he had won a gun, but it turned out that it was a dud.

He was miserable but he couldn't say anything about it.

"Alice, you were really born to torture me," Jensen thought to himself.
