True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 376
Initially, Grace wanted to pass her house key to Heinz so that he could sleep upstairs. However, she was afraid that he would still be asleep when she returned from grocery shopping. If that happened, she would not be able to enter the house. So, she decided to bring Heinz up first before going to the store.
That was why she didn't pass the key to him.
Heinz took a deep glance at Grace and then got out of the car.
His legs were a little numb, so he staggered and almost fell.
Grace supported him quickly and asked, "What's wrong?"
"My legs are numb," he replied in a hoarse and tired voice.
The strong scent of cigarettes encased him.
"Let me help you," Grace said. "Walk slowly."
He grunted in reply and shifted his body weight onto Grace. When he smelled the faint fragrance on her, his heart warmed.
"When did you arrive?" Grace asked him again.
"Half-past four," Heinz said. "It was too late. I was afraid that you would be sleeping, so I didn't go up."
"1
"Don't do this next time," Grace said. "Don't sleep in such an uncomfortable position. You either knock on my door or go back to sleep at your place."
Heinz nodded and hummed in agreement. He replied, "I understand."
Grace lifted her gaze and both of them stared into each other's eyes again.
Heinz locked his eyes on Grace's eyes. He stared at her with a gaze as deep as the sea.
Grace was shocked and asked instinctively, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," he replied while shaking his head. "Come on. I'll go upstairs to take a bath and sleep."
"Okay," Grace agreed and helped him walk forward. His tall body was hugging her body and both of them went upstairs together.
They went upstairs and entered the house.
Grace said to him, "You can take a bath and go to sleep. I'll go and buy some groceries. Oh, there are leftovers of spaghetti and mashed potatoes in the fridge. Do you want something to eat?" "I don't have an appetite," he said.
"Did you eat dinner last night?" Grace asked.
"No." He shook his head and said, "I only drank a bottle of water since I left here yesterday."
"Then, you should take a bath first. I'll prepare some food for you. After you have finished eating, I'll go out to buy groceries," she said.
"Okay," he agreed.
Heinz wanted to hug her again, but when he thought of the smell of disinfectant on his body after his hospital visit, he decided against it. Then, he removed his shoes and quickly went to take a bath.
Grace went into the kitchen to heat up the leftover food, and she cooked a simple dish for him.
He hadn't eaten for a whole day. He must have struggled a great deal.
She wondered how Mr. Lawson was doing now. 15 minutes later.
The door was pushed open.
Heinz came out half-naked, wearing nothing but a pair of trousers. His chiseled chest was exposed, making him look exceptionally strong. His hair was still dripping with water, making him look sexier.
Grace glanced at him and immediately closed her eyes, saying, "You can easily catch a cold if you don't wear a shirt."
"I'm fine," Heinz shook his head and said. Then, he walked over to her and lowered his head to look at her.
Grace didn't look at him. The moment she came into contact with his muscles which radiated heat, she quickly turned her face away.
She took a clean towel and handed it to him.
"Dry your hair. It's still dripping with water," she said.
"Help me," he requested before he sat down at the dining table. He looked at her and said, "Grace, I'm very tired."
She was startled for a moment and felt a little helpless, but she still dried his hair for him.
On the table were a plate of spaghetti, a bowl of mashed potatoes and a vegetable dish.
There was also a cup of warm water next to them.
He picked up the cup of water and drank it all up.
Grace wiped his hair with a towel.
His hair had grown longer, about three centimeters. She wiped it dry slowly.
She even wiped the water droplets on his body.
'TH get you a shirt," she said and was about to turn around.
Heinz grabbed her hand and spun her around, making her sit on his lap.
He leaned over and stretched out his hand to Grace's chin up gently. Then, he locked "Hey, don't do this. By the way, is your friend's dad out of danger?" Grace asked. Heinz kept quiet.

Grace was about to say something else, but Heinz lowered his head and kissed her hard.
He was more dominant and forceful than usual.
She was in a daze for a moment.
He only pulled back after her stiff body had relaxed in his arms.
There was a faint mint toothpaste taste in his mouth. So Grace knew that he had brushed his teeth.
He bit her lips. Then, he spoke softly and hoarsely against her lips, "Did you miss me?"
Grace was astonished and a little embarrassed but she remained silent.
"Did you sleep well last night?" he asked again.
When he saw that her eyes were also bloodshot, he knew that she had not slept well.
Grace nodded and hummed in reply.
Heinz asked, "Are you answering my first or second question?"
"Huh?" Grace was confused for a moment.
Before she could reply, he already spoke, "You miss me, don't you?"
Grace stretched out her hand to push him and stood up immediately. Then, she turned around and replied quickly, "I didn't sleep well!"
"It must be because you were busy thinking about me," he teased.
"Say whatever you want, I'll go and buy some groceries. When you are done, go and sleep," Grace said while walking quickly to the door.
"Both your lips and face are red. You better slow down and leave later," he said calmly. His voice was hoarser than usual, which made it even more attractive.
Grace was shocked and turned back to glance at him. Of course, she would not slow down. She could slow down in the elevator.
She opened the door to let herself out. Then, she turned back to lock the door. While doing so, she saw Heinz sitting at the table without a shirt, revealing his well-built body. She said, "Hurry up and put on a shirt."
However, he answered her, "I don't have one."
Grace was taken aback.
She finally understood the situation.
When she entered the elevator, she saw her reflection on the wall of the elevator. Her face and lips were indeed very red, which made her look fascinating and charming. She blushed again and the redness spread to her ears and neck, making her look as red as a peach blossom.
When she got downstairs, the wind blew on her, relieving her flushed complexion. Then, she took out her phone and called Alex.
"Alex, do you have time?" she asked.
"Please let me know what you want me to do, Miss Smith," Alex replied.
He spoke to her respectfully on the phone.
"Can you bring over some clean clothes for Heinz?" she requested.
"Oh, okay, I'll prepare them right away," Alex replied.
"Does Little Gary still want to stay in Ernest's place?" she then asked.
"Yes, he said that he will spend his weekend here. He also says that it is very enjoyable and comfortable," Alex replied again.
Those words were definitely spoken by Little Gary. He had always wanted to go on a trip. He had always felt excited about the new things and the different environments. "Okay, I understand," Grace said, no longer worried about her son. After all, Heinz had specially assigned people to take care of him.
'TH arrive at the Emerald Apartment in forty minutes, is that okay?" Alex asked.
"Sure," Grace said.
After agreeing on the appointed time, Grace went to buy groceries quickly. She came back just in time to see Alex parking the car downstairs.
She walked over to him.
Alex, who was carrying a big box saw her and said, "Miss Smith, these are all the clothes that I brought from home. Let me know if you need more." "Thank you," Grace said and entered the apartment building with him. Then, they took the elevator upstairs.
In the elevator, Alex said to her, "Miss Smith, there is something that I'm not sure whether I should tell you." "Please tell me," Grace said.
