Heinz wanted to end the topic. That's why he said that.

He didn't expect the old man to be so bored that he would answer back. Usually, he would just hang up the phone. This time, it was unusual.

"At least it's much better than not being able to use it," Heinz said lightly, "You can't even do it anymore, can you?"

The old man's self-esteem was hurt, and he said harshly, "Even if I could, I wouldn't act recklessly. I am a disciplined person, unlike you."

"Yes. You're a disciplined man who thought about other people's wives and neglected your own wife. My grandmother died of hatred because of you, yet you still have the nerve to tell me that you're a disciplined man," Heinz mocked.

"Hiss-" The old man took a deep breath and said, "Come see me tomorrow. You will regret it if you don't."

Heinz frowned as he was threatened. "What exactly are you trying to do?"

"I miss you." The old man shouted, "I miss you so much that I can't sleep, okay?"

Heinz was stunned to hear him say this. He was a little surprised but said in the end, "I'll see if I have the time tomorrow."

The old man took another breath and snorted. "If you don't come, I'll go to your company."

Heinz thought for a moment and said, "Okay, I'll go tomorrow."

"You better not go back on your word," the old man said and hung up the phone.

Holding his mobile phone, Heinz was speechless.

He was not in a hurry to go upstairs. Instead, he told the butler to heat the medicine up and then called his grandfather's people.

"How has the old man been recently?" Heinz asked.

"Young Master!" The person on the other side immediately said, "He is too lonely. He either talks to birds and flowers every day or looks at your photos. He talks to himself all the time. I think he's really too lonely."

Heinz frowned and said, "Doesn't he go out to play? Didn't he meet with his old comrades?"

"He did, but he lost to them."

"What did he lose?" Heinz asked.

"His comrades have four generations of people in their house. In his house, there is no one there for him. He has nothing to be proud of and he's sad," the butler said.

Heinz was speechless. "If he has nothing to do, take him to the orphanage to volunteer. The nursing home is fine too."

"Young Master, he really has not been well these days," the butler said.

Heinz was silent. After a long time, he said, "I know.

I'll go over tomorrow."

He hung up the phone, sighed, and paused. No one knew what he was thinking.

The butler brought the medicine over. Then, Heinz took the medicine along with some snacks and brought them upstairs.

Grace's hair was already blow dried.

When Heinz came back, she had already climbed into the bed and was leaning against the bed frame. She yawned and asked, "What took you so long?"

"I called my grandfather," Heinz said. "Come, take the medicine first."

She took it and swallowed a mouthful, then yelled out, "It's so bitter!"

This medicine was pitch black in color, and it tasted disgusting.

The more she drank it, the more she didn't want to drink.

Grace's little face wrinkled into a ball and looked very pitiful.

Heinz immediately noticed her frown and asked, "You don't want to drink it?"

"It's disgusting," she said, "I have to drink it, but it's too disgusting to drink. It makes me nauseous."

"It's certainly bad," Heinz sat down at the bedside, looked at her and said, "Would you like me to give you a piece of candy?"

"I'm not a child," Grace said with a smile, "I'll drink it."

Although she didn't want to, she still had to face this matter.

She held her breath and drank half of it.

"Ugh, it's horrible," Grace mumbled.

Heinz immediately uncapped a bottle of water and handed it to her. "Drink some water."

"No," Grace breathed a sigh of relief and said breathlessly, "I'll bear it and drink all of it at once."

Heinz looked at her nervously, with worry in his eyes.

This time, she took a huge gulp and finished it.

"It's so bitter!" She stuck out her tongue and reached out to take the water.

Heinz didn't hand her the water. He immediately cupped her face and kissed her.

All of a sudden, Grace's eyes widened.

He absorbed the bitter taste in her mouth.

It was indeed bitter.

The bitterness spread in his mouth. It was so bitter that it made him frown.

At this moment, Heinz finally realized how much bitterness a woman had to suffer.

This medicine had to be taken for three months.

This was only the first week.

He didn't know how many more weeks were left.

He held her in his arms and felt more and more distressed.

The bitterness was spreading in his mouth, and this was the taste of sharing.

He tasted the bitterness, and all of a sudden, she forgot about it.

After a moment of hesitation, Grace blushed and didn't care about the bitter taste anymore. She felt embarrassed.

After a long while, he let go of her and said gently in a low voice, "You've suffered a lot."

She shook her head and didn't say anything. She turned her face away and didn't look at him.

He handed over the water and said, "Drink some water. It's warm."

She took it and drank some.

As soon as she put it down, he shoved it over again.

He stared at her with passion in his eyes.

Grace was stunned and said, "I think I smell some midnight snacks."

He was stunned and sighed. "Yes, I've brought some here. Do you want to eat it?"

"I'm hungry. I want some food," Grace said.

"Alright," Heinz smiled and said.

He got up and handed her a tray.

After sitting cross-legged on the bed, Heinz put the tray on Grace's lap.

The two of them ate their midnight snacks together.

There were very small and delicate buns. They looked soft and fluffy.

She ate six of them, drank a glass of milk, and burped.

Suddenly, she realized something and subconsciously looked at Heinz.

She was a little embarrassed.

Her face turned slightly red.

Heinz laughed and said, "I burped too.11

"I know." She said in a low voice, "It's just that I don't think it's elegant, so I feel awkward now."

"Do you need to be embarrassed when it's just the two of us here?" He asked sincerely. We're going to spend the rest of our lives together. There will be more of such things in the future," Heinz said. "Can you not say that?" She was even more embarrassed.

Heinz shrugged and put the tray on the table.

"Please pass me that napkin," Grace said.

Heinz turned to look at her and noticed that the corner of her lips were covered with white milk stains.

When he was about to take the napkin, he suddenly turned his eyes and withdrew his hand. Soon, he turned around and pressed her down. He said softly, "You don't have any more excuses to refuse after eating and drinking now, do you?"

"Huh?" Grace was shocked.

She was stunned on the spot.

"You have taken the medicine and eaten some food." As he spoke, he grabbed her hand and wrapped her whole body in his arm and imprisoned her in his embrace. "Isn't it my turn to eat?"

"I want a napkin," Grace said. She didn't answer his question.

Heinz stared at her and licked away the milk on her lips. Then, he looked at her again and said, "Let's save a piece of paper. We must protect the environment. Aren't I considerate?"

She glared at him. He was so ridiculous.

"Don't you think you're too childish?" Grace said.

"No, I don't think I am," Heinz smiled and said. "Honey, it's late and your husband is very hungry. Can we sleep now?"

"Who is your honey?" Before she finished his words, she was conquered by him.

She was no match for him.

In an instant, he knocked her down, even more overbearing than before.

Heinz's emotions poured out and overflowed. She was no match for him at all. Soon, she surrendered.

It was not until a long time later until Heinz had to catch his breath that he looked up at her and whispered, "Look, you also think it's good, so don't be so cautious in the future. You should be more relaxed, do you understand?"
