Heinz looked down at the phone. It was Grace who called.

He could not help smiling as he answered the phone.

"Grace?"

Old Master Carter was stunned and subconsciously looked at Heinz. He had never seen an expression like that from his grandson before. Grace's voice came from the other side of the phone. "Heinz, the prosecutor is looking for me. it's about the matter with Lorenzo." "They're looking for you again?" Heinz immediately stood up with an anxious look on his face. "Wait for me, I'll be right there."

"No, they're already gone." Grace said, "They've been here for half an hour, and they're still asking me about what happened that day."

"They're gone?" Heinz's brows furrowed tightly. "D*mn it, they really don't know when to stop. Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." Grace said, "I just wanted to tell you that you don't have to worry and you don't have to come over."

"What did they ask?" Heinz asked.

"They asked the same things and I answered in the same way."

"If they come for you again next time, ask them to show their credentials." "I did the same thing this time," Grace smiled. "Don't worry, you don't have to come over. I'm busy too. I'm just giving you a heads up." "Are you sure you're fine?"

"Yes!" Grace laughed. "Don't you believe me?"

"I believe you." Heinz said, "I'm just worried. I'd better go over."

"Why are you coming over?" Grace grumbled in a low voice, "If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have told you. I'm fine. I need to hurry and finish my report. Let's meet in the afternoon when we pick the children up."

"Alright then!" Heinz was a little worried. "See you in the afternoon."

"Okay, see you later," Grace quickly hung up the phone.

Heinz held his cell phone, and he saw his grandfather looking at him.

He was stunned. He put the phone back into his pocket and said, "Grandpa, I have something to do. I have to go now."

"What happened?" The old man asked with concern.

"Nothing."

"If it's nothing, you wouldn't be that worried."

"It's about Grace." Heinz said, "I met a hooligan once who wanted to take advantage of Grace. I beat him up severely and he's trying to blackmail me."

"How can you say it's nothing," Old Master Carter said in a low voice, "You've met a hooligan!"

"He's been sued," Heinz said.

"A lawsuit?" Old Master Carter exclaimed in surprise.

"That's right," Heinz nodded. "But that's the prosecutor's matter."

Old Master Carter was also shocked. "Even the prosecutor is involved. What a good woman of yours."

"Grandpa." Heinz found that the old man was very stubborn. "You don't know about the situation. I'm not going to stick around any longer. I'll go first." "Stop right there," Old Master Carter ordered.

"I'm really busy." Heinz said in a low voice, "I'm going."

This time, Heinz left quickly without giving Old Master Carter any chance to speak.

Old Master Carter sat in the room for a while and shouted, "Butler, prepare the car."

"Where are you going?" The butler asked with concern, "Is your body well enough to go out twice?"

"It's none of your business!" The old man said, "Check out where Grace is working. We'll go immediately. I want to see her at noon today."

"If you want to see her, you can invite her here," the butler said, "The young master has just left. Won't he be angry if he replaces out about it?" "That's why I can't invite her here. Let's go check it out first." The old man said, "Didn't you replace out before?"

"I have," the butler said. "I'll take you there right away."

Very soon, they set off.

Grace had spent the whole morning working on the report. Apart from meeting the prosecutor, she was busy working.

It was already twelve o'clock, and she was so hungry that she was ready to go for a meal.

As soon as she came out, her path was blocked by a middle-aged man. The man said respectfully, "Hello, Miss Smith." "Hello." Grace looked at him expressionlessly. No one could tell whether she was angry or not. "May I ask who you are?" "I'm Heinz's grandfather's butler. Our master wants to invite you over so we can have lunch together," the butler said. Grace was taken aback. She looked at the middle-aged man claiming to be a butler carefully.

"How can I be sure that you are really the old man's butler?" She asked, on high alert.

Hearing this, the butler was stunned. It seemed that he hadn't expected Grace to ask such a question.

He looked at the car behind him and said, "Have you ever seen the license plate of this car? This is a special license plate."

"This can't prove anything," Grace said seriously, "If he wants to see me, he would definitely tell Heinz. He wouldn't come to me himself, right?" The butler gave another shudder and said, "Mr.

Jones was in Old Master Carter's house just now. Old Master Carter said he wanted to see Miss Smith, but Young Master Jones refused."

She was still skeptical. Was this really Heinz's grandfather?

While she was hesitating, she suddenly heard a majestic voice from the car.

"Butler, what's going on?" Old Master Carter was obviously getting impatient from waiting.

The butler was very embarrassed. "Chief, Miss Smith suspects that you are not Young Master Jones's grandfather. She is very alert and dares not come with us." Old Master Carter was stunned. After a few seconds, the old man got out of the car.

He stood at the side of the car, glancing at Grace with his sharp eyes.

As soon as Grace took a look at him, she felt her heart skip a beat.

He really was Heinz's grandfather.

This old gentleman was indeed Heinz's grandfather. She had seen him in the photos published on the internet. He looked exactly like the man she saw in those photos.

Grace paused for a moment, then quickly walked over. When she saw Old Master Carter, she also nodded slightly and said respectfully, "Mr. Carter, it's really you. I was on high alert just now, so I'm truly sorry." Old Master Carter's gaze swept over Grace with a sharp glint in his eyes.

He looked at the girl in front of him. She was dressed in a very common business suit. She did not have any fancy designs on her clothes. She was very different from Claris.

Her face was very beautiful, and it was no wonder that her grandson liked her. She was indeed a bright and beautiful girl.

Old Master Carter looked her up and down carefully before saying, "It's better to be on guard, especially for women."

Grace was stunned. She didn't expect the old master to be so understanding.

She smiled slightly and said, "Thank you for your understanding."

"Get in the car," the old man said, "Let's have a meal together."

After thinking for a while, Grace immediately said, "Mr. Carter, I have to come back at one o'clock to continue my work. How about this? Though the restaurant opposite the office is not luxurious, it's clean and hygienic, and the food there is fresh. If you don't mind, I'll treat you to lunch there. That way, I can get back to work after a meal."

The old man turned to look at the restaurant opposite the office building and frowned.

Old Master Carter didn't say anything and just looked at his watch.

It was already twelve o'clock. After lunch, it would be a little later than one o'clock. It was true that they couldn't go anywhere fancier.

While Grace waited for his reply, the old man said,

"Butler, please book a private room there."
