True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 543
The night was getting darker and darker. After the two of them tossed and turned in the bathroom for some time, their physical strength was exhausted.
Heinz carried Grace to the bed.
Heinz carried her in his arms while studying the bruises on her initially immaculate skin. He felt a little annoyed with his own aggressiveness and insanity earlier on.
"What's with your eyes?" Grace happened to meet his annoyed eyes and thought that he was regretting his decision of touching her in the bathroom.
As a matter of fact, he was the one who had insisted on getting that done.
Seeing that he was knitting his brows and looking as if he regretted what he had done, she couldn't help but furrow her brows as well.
"I shouldn't have done it again. I seem to have been too rude to you. I've even injured you." Heinz caressed Grace's shoulder gently with his large hand. "But I'll be more regretful if I don't do that with you again That's why I'm feeling conflicted right now."
"You've already used up all of your energy." Grace replied, "Don't think about doing that again today."
"Does it hurt?" He asked in a low voice.
"Shut up." This time, Grace had really gotten up to put on her clothes. If she dragged this on endlessly, she would never have the chance to get out of that place.
"Grace, my movements were a little too harsh just now. You are covered in bruises now." He felt very sorry.
Grace lowered her head to study her body. When she saw the mottled traces, she couldn't help fuming, "And you still have the nerve to say that to my face?"
"I'm sorry about that. Let's not do it in the bathroom again next time. It's more comfortable to do it lying in bed than to do it while standing. What do you think?" Heinz asked.
Grace was dumbfounded and speechless in an instant. It was as if she had been struck by a thunderbolt.
She really thought that he was feeling remorseful for his own actions.
In the end, he was spouting this kind of nonsense again.
She pulled a long face and changed into her clothes while ignoring him.
Heinz couldn't hear any response to his words, thus he asked, "Grace, are you angry?"
Grace still didn't say anything.
"Okay, I love you," Heinz suddenly expressed his love.
With a buzz, Grace felt like her brain had exploded.
This guy had in fact confessed his love at that moment.
Wasn't he too nonchalant when he was saying those
words?
Grace was so shocked that her lips were gaping slightly. She stared at the man in front of her and found it difficult to believe that he really meant it when he spoke those three words "I love you". He was saying them too nonchalantly.
Grace was so surprised to the point that her expression was frozen slightly. She wasn't able to respond for a very long time.
"Well, you seem like you have trampled on a stool. Do you hate my confession that much?" Heinz was a little annoyed by her display of resentment.
"Then, what are you really trying to say?" Grace frowned suspiciously, "You suddenly confessed to me just like that. How do I know how sincere you were when you said those words?"
"My words have the same weight as a thousand bars of gold," Heinz replied in a deep voice.
Grace frowned as she was still feeling suspicious. "Then, why do you love me?"
Heinz was surprised by Grace's question.
He looked at Grace in surprise. "Your reaction makes me feel like I'm overthinking about the whole thing."
"No." Grace shook her head seriously. "I don't mean that. I just don't quite understand. What do you love about me?"
"I, I!" Heinz was so frustrated that he was stuttering. He snorted while answering, "I have really made a fool of myself. I can't believe that you are doubting my confession to you."
"I'm just curious," Grace said in a low voice. "If you don't explain yourself, of course I'll be suspicious." "I love you wholeheartedly." Heinz confessed loudly, "Every time I see you, I can't help but feel my blood boiling. There's no reason for that. It's my instinct. I am always happy when I see you, and I will be sad when you are not around."
Grace's small lips parted as she listened to him.
Heinz continued, "I hope that I can see you everyday, and that I can sleep with you in my arms every night."
Grace was initially very surprised by him revealing his true feelings, but the more she listened, the stranger she felt.
What he loved was not her personality, but her body.
"Heinz, that's not love at all. You are obviously just a wild beast." She poked his chest with her hand and turned around to leave. "I don't believe that you love me."
"I'm being serious here. One can only become rational when one starts to have real feelings." Heinz got up behind her as he refuted her while putting on his clothes.
Grace was flustered by his words, and she stopped in her tracks without turning around. "What about your rationality? Do you really love me?"
Heinz, who was still wearing his clothes, saw that she had stopped moving. He declared domineeringly, "Of course! If I don't love you, why would I express my love for you?"
"But your confession sounded too casual," Grace
couldn't help complaining.
"You didn't even express your feelings to me casually before this." He still felt extremely indignant in his heart.
He had waited for Grace's confession for a long time but he was never able to hear it personally. At the moment, he had confessed his love to her, but this girl still held a skeptical attitude towards him; it was too hurtful.
Heinz's self-esteem was visibly affected.
Grace was slightly flustered. She then turned to look at Heinz and said, "Heinz, I have a question for you."
"Yes." Heinz nodded immediately. "Go ahead."
Grace mulled over a thought for a moment and she asked, "I want to ask you, if you really love me but I leave you in the end, will you be very sad?"
Heinz was shocked. He immediately raised his voice and retorted, "You are leaving me? Why are you leaving me?"
Grace couldn't even say anything,
Heinz immediately announced in an overbearing tone, "I will never allow you to leave me."
"I am not saying that I will leave you. I am just saying, what if I do?" Grace replied, "Think about it, if we separated, will you feel so sad that you want to die?" Heinz frowned and thought for a while, "Maybe."
Seeing that he was hesitating a little,
Grace said, "Perhaps, you don't know, but I have been wanting to replace out what is love ever since the night
in the tent five years ago."
"Initially, I had some feelings for Simon, but I didn't feel like dying when I left him."
"I have been thinking about the meaning of love. Is it something that will shake the heavens and earth, make me cry sadly, and break my heart?"
"So you are trying to imagine how it would feel like if I left you?" Heinz asked.
"That's right." Grace nodded. "I want to make a hypothesis."
"You are such a fool." Heinz put on his clothes and walked over. He looked down at her and said, "You didn't have a deep love for Simon in the first place. Our connection is very different. My feelings for you are different, thus you can't just hypothesize."
"So?" Grace looked up at him with a confused expression.
Heinz discovered that this woman was normally very clever, but sometimes, she was a little slow.
"So, I really do love you. My love is real, and it is a passionate kind of love. Do you understand now?" Heinz almost roared.
Grace was startled by his roar, and there was a flash of surprise in her eyes.
"If you really love me, then so be it. Why do you have to be so fierce?"
"I want to die now." Heinz was really speechless at the moment.
"Are you saying that you love me so much that you want to die?" Grace frowned. "Then, I wonder if you
really love me or just my body?"
"It's all the same." Heinz pulled her over and inched his overbearing face closer to her. He said in a low voice, "Don't think too much about this, and don't tempt me to change the topic. I'm almost infuriated by you."
