When Little Gary woke up, he felt that his entire body was jolting around. Only then did he realize that he was being carried by someone and was lying on their shoulder. His small chest felt uncomfortable. The person carrying him was walking.

Little Gary frowned and opened his eyes. He saw that the place around him was unfamiliar. It was not the Lowe Villa.

Who was carrying him?

It must be a bad guy.

Especially since his mother and Uncle Zachary had been fighting with Master Lowe of the Lowe family recently.

Had he been kidnapped?

No, he could not let the man carrying him know that he had woken up and he could not make a sound. Otherwise, the man might harm him.

Little Gary quietly made plans and secretly observed his position and the distance they had travelled from behind the man.

Behind him, there was a car. He saw the license plate number and memorized it. They must have just gotten down from the car.

Suddenly, he heard a voice from the side. "Since we've taken away this little boy from Young Master Zachary's garden, we'll definitely lose our jobs!"

"Aunt Eva said that she would take care of it for us," the person carrying Little Gary said.

"But we all know what she's like. She is incapable and bad-tempered, far worse than Young Master Zachary," another man continued. "Madam Nerissa always treats us well. Can we really do this?"

"If we don't, then Aunt Eva will expose what we've done. Madam Nerissa wouldn't want us anymore."

"But this time, we've already been exposed!"

"Since it's come to this, we can only try our best and hand this little boy over to Aunt Eva. They will threaten Young Master Zachary and Mr. Jones, who came from Northern City. We can return to our hometown after getting a bunch of money from her."

"I keep feeling that something bad might happen."

"You're just overthinking."

Little Gary was quick-witted. He could tell from the conversation between the two of them that it was Aunt Eva who wanted to kidnap him.

Aunt Eva wanted to hold him hostage and threaten Heinz and Uncle Zachary for money.

How despicable she was! She must be crazy for money.

Little Gary's eyebrows furrowed into a knot. It seemed that he was going to have to save himself.

The man who carried him went up a flight of stairs. They seemed to have entered a house.

As expected, he heard a door opening with a click at the end of a flight of stone steps. The doorway was very tall. After taking a step forward, they quickly entered the room.

Passing through the front room, the man turned left and walked into the back room, where he put him on a bed.

Little Gary closed his eyes and did not move. He continued to pretend to be asleep.

"Hey, how long will it take for this little boy to wake up?"

"1 covered his nose with a sedative just now. Generally, adults tend to wake up after about half an hour. He's just a kid so I'm guessing that he will only wake up after around three to five hours." "Should we tie him up?"

"Don't tie him up. We're here to get money, not to do something bad. He's from a rich family and we can't take the responsibility if we hurt him."

At least they still had some common sense.

Little Gary was relieved. It was better if they didn't tie him up; he would have an easier time escaping later.

It turned out that he had been knocked out with a sedative just now. Fortunately, he was smart and had held his breath earlier. Otherwise, if he had inhaled too much of it, he would still be unconscious. "I'll call Aunt Eva. You go get some drinks."

"Alright."

After a while, Little Gary heard a phone ringing outside, and the other person also left.

He slowly opened his eyes. He found that he was lying on a decently clean bed.

"Ah, Uncle Charles. Aunt Eva asked us to capture Young Master Zachary's little guest. The child is with us now. What should we do?"

Little Gary heard them talking.

He jumped off the bed and looked around the room, which was connected to the other side.

He walked over and cautiously opened the door. There was a large yard outside, and he could see the main gate straight ahead.

At that moment, the gate was closed.

Little Gary thought about it and felt that if he ran over there then, he might be discovered and unable to escape.

He quietly returned to the room and closed the door. Then, he laid back down on the bed.

"Okay, I will watch over the child." A voice continued to speak from outside. "You're telling me to go back to Young Master Zachary's house? But if I go back now, I will be caught."

Little Gary listened to their conversation. It seemed that the man was ordered to go back to the Lowe family villa.

"Young Master Zachary ordered that no one could go out today. If I go there, I will be found out. Doing that is a death wish; you can't do this to me. I don't dare to go back. Ah, no, Uncle Charles, I will go back. I will go back now!"

He had suddenly conceded?

Little Gary listened to their conversation. He wondered why it was so easy for him to be threatened.

He suddenly realised that this person was not a threat at all.

"Hey, boil some water and watch over the child. I'm going back to the Lowe Villa to get something."

"It's not safe to go back now."

"That b*stard Charles threatened me. If I don't follow his orders, he would immediately tell others that I was the spy he placed in Young Master Zachary's home."

"He's just a jerk. Didn't Eva answer the phone?"

"No, I don't even know where she is now!"

"Why don't we send the child back?"

"No, this is our only chance. Let's hurry up and deal with it. I'll go to the Lowe family to get something."

"Get what?"

"Young Master Zachary's seal."

"Be careful."

"I will!"

Soon, the sound of footsteps faded away.

There was only one person left in the room. The person ran to the bed and looked at Little Gary, then pushed him.

Little Gary held himself back and didn't move.

The man muttered, "You're knocked out. I'll go get some food first. You're really good-looking. How nice it would be if you were my child."

Little Gary thought, "What are you thinking about? You're crazy about money; you could never have such a good-looking child like me."

The man stood by the bed for a while, took out a cigarette and lit it. He then put down both the lighter and cigarette, turned away, and went to make some food. After he left, Little Gary quickly got up from the bed. He saw the lighter.

He picked it up and rolled his eyes. He flicked the lighter and set the fabric of the bed on fire.

The flames flared up.

Little Gary walked out from the other side.

He quickly arrived at the gate and calmly opened it. Then, he went out and closed it from the outside.

As soon as he came out, he saw the rear end of a car speeding away and he quickly ran to the other side. This place seemed to be in the countryside. The sky was getting darker.

Little Gary didn't dare to walk along the main road. He didn't have a phone with him either, so he didn't know how to contact his mom and Heinz.

He wondered if his mom would be anxious once she found out that he was missing.

He was cautious and didn't dare to talk to anyone. He quickly strode towards the direction of the car from just now.

Suddenly, he saw a police car.

Little Gary puffed out. He quickly ran over to the police car and blocked its way.

Three officers were in the car. This was a security patrol car.

The three of them were surprised to see that this little fellow had blocked their way.

One of them got out of the car and asked Little Gary, "Kid, why did you stop us?"
