"I'll talk to Uncle Charm another day." Heinz said, "If this continues, Aunt Brooks will be more tormented and it will be more difficult for you then." Jensen thought so too. If things went on like this, he would die from exhaustion. It had not been just one or two days that Rosalie had been acting like this.

They came out of the hospital and before they arrived at the parking lot, Jensen's phone rang.

He glanced at it and showed it to Heinz helplessly. "Look, I've only walked a few steps and she already called me."

"Aunt Brooks?"

"Who else could it be if not her?" Jensen did not want to answer the phone.

"Answer it and listen to what she says," Heinz said.

Jensen could only answer the phone, "Mom."

"Where did you go?" Rosalie asked.

"I'm about to go back," Jensen said.

"Go back to where?"

"Workplace."

"What workplace?" Rosalie's voice was sharp. "I believe you're going to look for that woman. I'm still in the hospital, but you're already indulging in s*x. Do you think it's appropriate?" Jensen was speechless.

Heinz picked up the phone and said, "Aunt Brooks, I'm Heinz. Jensen, you should go back and have a rest. If you really need someone, I'll make arrangements for you." "Heinz, you haven't left yet?" Rosalie was stunned and obviously surprised.

"Yes, Jensen and I are leaving now." Heinz said, "Do you need a nurse?" "No need." Rosalie looked at the phone and said uneasily, "I'm fine now." She hung up quickly.

Jensen took out a cigarette, lit one, and asked Heinz, "Do you smoke?"

"Give me one." Heinz also lit one. He took a deep breath, puffed out white smoke, and said, "Aunt Brooks is really looking for trouble. You do have a hard life, Jensen."

Jensen was very helpless. "But there's nothing I can do."

What could he do if he had such a mother? "You should know your strength and know when to stop." Heinz said, "You must know when to put your foot down. You can't agree to everything."

"I know!" Jensen nodded. "Go back and apologize to Grace for me."

"Grace is fine," Heinz said. "Don't worry. As long as Alice is fine, Grace will definitely be fine. She'd definitely bless you two."

"I understand. I will go back and comfort Alice now," Jensen said. "To be honest, I have no strength at all when I see my Mom. I just want to escape, but when I remember that she is my mother, I know that I can't turn a blind eye."

"I understand." Heinz nodded. "I already have a headache from spending a while here."

Jensen smiled and said, "I'm sorry."

"No need to be polite to me." Heinz patted him on the shoulder. "You should go back. You should rest after your work is settled."

Only then did the two leave in their own cars.

Jensen soon drove to Emerald Apartment.

When he arrived, Alice was already there. He saw that the lights were on, so he got out of the car and knocked on the door.

When the door opened, Alice saw Jensen. Looking into his tired eyes, she asked worriedly, "Jensen, is your mother all right?" "She's fine." Jensen's voice sounded a bit choked. In the end, Alice's concern for Rosalie made Jensen feel even more upset.

He felt very sorry for Alice.

It had really put them in an awkward situation when Rosalie said such things about Alice and Grace.

When he saw Alice again, Jensen felt guilty.

He entered the apartment, changed his shoes, stood at the door, and said to Alice, "I'm sorry. I've caused you and Grace to feel aggrieved."

Alice shook her head and said, "It's fine."

In fact, the reason she escaped and wanted to break up with Jensen was that she believed that Jensen would have a hard time.

Jensen stepped forward, hugged Alice and said softly, "No matter what, I won't let you go. You can only be my woman and you can't leave me for the rest of my life."

Alice's body stiffened as she sighed with emotion.

Jensen said again, "I won't let you leave me. I won't let you go even if I die."

Alice knew that he was serious.

She could feel it.

The more serious he was, the sadder she felt and the more she wanted to cry.

Alice didn't say anything in the end.

She just put her arms around Jensen's waist and held him in her arms. He was a man who was filled with fatigue. She took a deep breath. The strong scent of tobacco from his body wafted into her nose. Without asking, she could tell that he had smoked a lot.

Alice felt that she had to work hard, at least, with Jensen.

"Let's work hard together. If I don't work hard, I won't be willing. I want to be with you and I don't want to break up."

Jensen abruptly pulled away from her. He looked down at the girl in front of him. Her blushing face was a little shy and determined.

"Alice?"

"Jensen, I like you," Alice said. She heaved a sigh of relief as she said it. With a soft and shy smile on her little face, she said, "I might have fallen in love with you."

Jensen opened his mouth slightly and looked at Alice in astonishment. He could not believe it.

What did she say?

She might have fallen in love with him.

It was such a pleasant surprise.

He felt sad and surprised.

Alice saw that Jensen's eyes were wide open and he looked at her in shock. He was so shocked that he opened his mouth wide. Embarrassed, she immediately turned around and ran inside. Looking at the slender figure who fled in panic, a fire instantly lit up in Jensen's eyes. He quickly walked towards the bedroom.

When he came to Alice's side, she turned her back to him and did not dare to look at him. Her awkward behavior made him see another side of his woman.

"Alice," Jensen called her name. His voice was hoarse and attractive, "Why did you run away?"

Alice didn't say anything.

Jensen hugged her and gently turned her around, letting her face him.

Alice saw that Jensen was staring at her with burning eyes.

She didn't even dare to make a sound.

Jensen picked her up and carried her to the table next to them. Staying in between her legs, he made her look at him.

"Jensen!" Alice's voice trembled.

"Yes." Jensen stood in front of her. Still staring at her, he locked his eyes with Alice's.

Suddenly, Alice felt that Jensen was a threat to her.

Alice suddenly opened her small mouth and said, "Don't."

"I haven't eaten yet and haven't taken a bath either." Jensen held her tightly. "Don't worry. Even if I want to, I have to clean up first. I've been running around for the whole day today and I've been to my workplace and the hospital too."

"Are you tired?" She asked.

She felt a little distressed.

Jensen nodded and said, "As long as you don't mess with me, I won't feel so tired. No matter how other people cause trouble for me, I won't feel tired at all."

"I'm sorry, I won't cause trouble for you in the future." Alice was now filled with apologies.

"Silly girl." Jensen smiled and hugged her, his face buried in Alice's neck.
