As soon as Jensen heard what Heinz said, he suddenly became anxious. "Where are you? I'll come and replace you."

"Don't look for me." Heinz's voice sounded incomparably weary. "I don't want to see anyone right now. I just want to stay here alone for a while."

"Heinz." Jensen said, "You have experienced a lot, so don't get frustrated."

"I know." Heinz said on the phone, "Don't worry, I'm fine."

"That's good."

Hanging up the phone, Jensen felt that things were getting extremely tricky.

Lester was still waiting for a reply when he saw Jensen walking over after the call. He asked, "Officer Charm, how is it going?"

"Lester." Jensen wanted to say something but stopped. After a pause, he opened his mouth and said, "Stop the account cancellation. Let's wait for the President's orders." "Didn't the President ask for it?" Lester was very surprised. "He was very anxious and is waiting for me to settle the account cancellation, then marry Miss Smith."

All of a sudden, he hadn't the faintest idea what was going on. He couldn't explain it.

Jensen thought for a moment and said, "Lester, Jodie is still alive. She came back today, so there's no way to cancel her account."

"Ah!" Lester was shocked. "Living? Alive?"

"Yes." Jensen said, "Your current task is to replace Grace as soon as possible. Heinz can't take care of Grace, so I have to make sure that she is fine."

"Okay, I'll go and replace her now." Lester also panicked. He realized that this matter was not simple after all. First, he had to ensure that Miss Smith was safe and sound. When Lester was about to leave, Jensen immediately stopped him. "Wait, Lester, we can't talk about this yet. If you replace her, tell me. Don't tell her about Jodie first." "Alright!" Lester's expression was also very serious. "Don't worry, Officer Charm. I'm not dumb. I know what I should and shouldn't say."

"Don't tell Alice either." Jensen said, "I have to think about what to say."

Lester thought for a moment and said, "Officer Charm, there's something that I don't know if it's my place to say."

"Are you still holding back now? If you don't tell me now, when will you?" Jensen was very anxious.

Lester said, "Previously, Grace was very angry because the President hid the truth from her. This time, I think we should tell her before they say anything. Otherwise, if she replaces out, the President is going to get blamed for deceiving her."

Furthermore, if they broke up, things would get troublesome.

Jensen more or less thought so too. He nodded and said, "I know. Find her first."

"Alright." Lester then left.

Jensen had organized the unit's cases, but he did not even go to the hospital. Instead, he went straight back to the Hart Villa District.

Alice was cleaning the room. At the door, her body was stiff and she subconsciously looked at the door with caution.

At the sight of this, Jensen felt as if his heart was pricked by needles.

She was worried that the person at the door was Jensen's mother.

It seemed that she was deeply hurt.

Jensen was very sorry. He smiled and said, "It's me." "It's you." Alice smiled awkwardly. "Sorry, I thought it was..."

She didn't have to continue because he knew what she was thinking.

She smiled awkwardly and there was a touch of unnatural blush on her face.

"You thought it was my mom." Jensen said, "We've changed the password, so no one can enter through the door except us."

"Oh." Alice nodded and smiled awkwardly again. "Jensen, why did you come back so early?"

"It's alright. I've come back to take you to see my dad." Jensen looked at Alice. He felt sorry for her when he thought of the problem her sister was facing now.

Their relationship was close and if they knew about this, they would be very anxious.

He looked at his watch. It was past four o'clock in the afternoon. He had an appointment for dinner with his father. He said, "Go change your clothes. We are leaving now."

Actually, Alice wasn't in the mood for the meal that day.

Now that this thing had happened between Heinz and Grace, Jensen was not in the mood either, but he thought that Alice might overthink. He also agreed with his father that they would have dinner together. If they didn't show up, his father would overthink as well.

Hence, after considering all the factors, he decided to finish this meal as soon as possible.

"I am going to change my clothes," Alice said. "Wait for me."

"Go ahead." Jensen smiled at her. "I'll wait here."

Alice quickly put down the rag in her hand and hurried to change her clothes.

She wore the white dress she just bought that day and did a simple braid. She looked simple and classy.

She thought that it was better to look simple when meeting the elders.

When she came out, Jensen's eyes lit up when he saw Alice's appearance. He praised her and said, "This is what my father likes. Let's go now."

"Will he really like it?" Alice was very nervous and asked.

"Of course." Jensen said, "My father is an old policeman who lives in a housing unit for singles. You can tell that he is a very simple man. Over the years, he has been a good judge of character. At the sight of you, he will know that you are an honest girl."

"Will he?" Alice was still worried. "I am afraid that his first impression of me will not be good."

Jensen's mother had left with a terrible impression of her and now it was time to meet Jensen's father. She didn't want both parents to hate her.

"Absolutely." Jensen said, "My father is a generous old man."

"Okay." Alice took her bag and the gift meant for Jensen's father. "This is a watch for your father. I don't know if he'll like it."

Alice opened it for Jensen.

Seeing the watch, Jensen's eyes flashed. "He would surely like it, but this is not cheap, right?"

"It's okay," Alice said. "This is the first time I'm meeting him, so I can't go empty-handed."

"Alice, you are still a student." Jensen said, "My father is not a materialistic person."

"What about your mother?" In Alice's impression, Jensen's mother was a little bit particular.

Jensen was stunned for a moment and then smiled. "My mother is a very self-righteous person. She is very straightforward and can be hurtful at times."

"Got it," Alice said with a smile. "Let's go."

The two of them quickly went out.

"How's my sister?" Alice asked on the way there.

"I've asked Lester to look for her." Jensen did not say anything. He planned to tell Alice after the meal.

He knew that once he said it, Alice would be shocked immediately.

"Dad, where are you?" Jensen called his father as he drove.

"In the hospital," Nelson said. He seemed to have stood up, and then there came the sound of the opening and closing of the door. Nelson continued, "Jensen, your mother has caused some trouble for you." "Dad, I didn't go today. You're better than me." Jensen said, "I'm not afraid of my mother causing more trouble. I'm afraid of her being unreasonable."
