Aaron was very annoyed by Heinz's unyielding attitude. "Mr. Jones, what is there for me to be afraid of? I just replace it very strange. Why do you refuse to let me go?" He asked hurriedly. "Why don't I want to let you go? Of course, there is a reason I don't want to let you go. No one will do things without a reason. Don't you agree?" Heinz replied, trying to force Aaron to spill the truth.

Ding-dong!

The doorbell rang.

Aaron was stunned and seemed to be a little nervous upon hearing the doorbell ring.

Glancing toward the direction of the door, Heinz said with a faint smile, "Dr. Clarke, open the door."

"Hurry up and leave. I have nothing to say to you," Aaron glanced at him and said. However, he still went to open the door, wondering who was there.

He was slightly taken aback when he saw Queenie.

"Chief Stone?" "Aaron." Queenie said, "There is something I would like to know more about. May I enter?"

Aaron said, "No, Chief Stone. Please go back first. I'm tired and I don't want to talk about anything."

Stunned, Queenie immediately said, "I went to see Aiden before I came here. I'm here for Jodie. I think it's better for us to talk inside."

"Jodie's business has nothing to do with me. It's better if we don't talk about it," Aaron said to Queenie coldly. "Chief Stone, please leave."

"Aaron." Queenie was starting to get anxious. Staring at him, she said in a deep voice, "Don't think that I don't know anything. Rumors about you and Jodie have already circulated in the medical team. I just came here to verify something."

"Chief Stone," Heinz called out to Queenie from the house. "The thing that you want to verify is the same thing that I want to verify. Come in so that we can ask Dr. Clarke together."

Queenie's body froze completely. Gawking at Aaron, Queenie asked incredulously, "Is Heinz here?"

Aaron nodded reluctantly, expressionless.

Queenie also frowned, as she had not expected that it would be so coincidental. She suddenly understood why Aaron asked her to leave just now. It was simply because Heinz was there.

She had no choice but to walk into the house.

Feeling helpless, Aaron could only follow Queenie into the house.

As soon as she entered the room, Queenie saw Heinz sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Surrounded by an overpowering aura, Heinz was looking extremely comfortable while sitting on the sofa.

Heinz calmly looked at Aaron and Queenie and said with a smile, "Chief Stone, I didn't expect to meet you again so soon. What a coincidence. Are you also here to visit Dr. Clarke?" Queenie wanted to burst with anger and embarrassment.

She really did not expect Heinz to be here. So, she felt extremely awkward when she saw him in the house.

After a moment of silence and awkwardness, she asked, "Why are you here?"

"I'm here to visit Dr. Clarke," Heinz replied with a slight smile. "Why are you here?"

Queenie suddenly felt unspeakably embarrassed and her face looked even paler.

"I've also come here to visit Aaron."

Heinz smiled faintly. It seemed like he was mocking Queenie's behavior. He said, "I think our purposes are somewhat the same. We just want to confirm one thing. It seems like you already have some clues about it. That's why you came to see Dr. Clarke in such a hurry. You are here to verify something with him, right?"

Hearing this, Queenie immediately denied, "I came to look for Aaron for some work-related matters. It has nothing to do with Jodie."

Upon hearing this, Heinz laughed and said with a chuckle, "Chief Stone, you're really funny. I just heard you clearly just now. You were talking about Jodie with Dr. Clarke. Why deny it now?"

Chief Stone's expression turned even more awkward. "Heinz, what are you trying to do?" Queenie asked while her face twisted from embarrassment to anger.

"Nothing!" Heinz smiled and replied, "The more you try to deny it, the more it seems to be true. In my opinion, I think this is absolutely the case."

Heinz's words made Queenie feel even more embarrassed. She was at a loss for words while staring fixedly at him.

"It's better for people to live honestly. As I

have said before, you can't make up a fact," Heinz said faintly. "I believe you came here to solve the problem too. If that is the case, I think it's better for us to have a good heart-to-heart talk with Dr. Clarke." Queenie turned her face away and did not want to talk.

Aaron was starting to feel a little hesitant when he heard them talking about this. After staring at them for a while, he finally said, "Chief Stone, please take a seat."

Queenie shot a reproachful glare at Aaron.

Aaron should have told her that Heinz was in his house when they were at the door. If not, how on earth would she know he was also there?

Queenie sat down while looking angry and embarrassed at the same time. The expression on her face looked terrible.

She did not look at Heinz after sitting down.

Heinz quietly swept his gaze over Queenie as he was not in a hurry to say anything.

Aaron also sat down and watched them quietly.

A heavy silence filled the house.

The three of them sat there, staring at each other with all kinds of emotions. However, none of them spoke.

Heinz looked at them calmly. He must solve this matter that day. However, he must not be too hasty. He had to observe everything carefully so that he could settle the matter perfectly.

A minute had passed, but no one spoke yet. The atmosphere had become very awkward.

Eventually, Queenie could no longer retain her composure and said frankly, "Dr. Clarke, tell us what happened to Jodie in Alsburg."

"I also don't know what happened. Most of the time, we were both very busy and always kept our distance from each other. If you want to know in detail, you should go and ask Jodie," Aaron replied. "We weren't together for long before she got abducted. As for the rest, I don't know. You can go and ask other doctors if you want to know about it."

Queenie could tell at a glance that Aaron did not want to tell them the truth.

Of course, she was not satisfied.

Queenie took a glance at Heinz.

Heinz was not anxious at all, and he looked extremely confident.

Queenie asked angrily, "Heinz, what did you hear before you came here? Why don't you tell us?"

Heinz said, "I know Jodie was not pregnant with my child. As for whose child it was, I think you have an idea, Chief Stone."

Frowning, Queenie retorted, "You should produce evidence to prove that the child was not yours. Tell me, who is the father of Jodie's child?"

"What's the rush?" Heinz said, "I can still bear it even though I've been wronged. Why are you so anxious? I have a lot of patience in dealing with this matter since six years have passed. I'll wait for the truth to reveal itself."

"You can't talk nonsense," said Queenie.

"Of course I'm not talking nonsense," Heinz responded with a smile. "There is a basis for every word I said. I think you didn't come to see Dr. Clarke with no basis either, right?"
