True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 710
Originally, Tyler didn't know much about it and Grace was clueless too. But now, with his analysis, Grace suddenly felt that this matter was directed at her. Why was that so?
Who wanted to ruin her reputation?
If Grace wanted to know the reason, she would have to replace the one who would benefit from it.
Who would be the one reaping the benefits?
Could it be Jodie?
Heinz didn't like Jodie anymore. No matter how close they used to be, at this moment, Grace felt that Heinz had no feelings for Jodie as he used to.
Jodie knew very well that she would never get back to how she and Heinz used to be, even if she tried.
Was she so stubborn that she refused to let go and give up? Was she still holding on to the fantasy?
Even so, if it was Jodie, she wouldn't have acted so quickly.
Who else could it be?
If she lost all her reputation, who would benefit from it?
For a moment, Grace was perplexed.
"Tyler, what you said is very reasonable, but I really can't think of who it is that wants to make trouble for me," she sighed.
"The truth will be revealed one day." Tyler looked around and found that no one followed them except for the bodyguards. He was slightly relieved and claimed, "The bodyguards said that there were people following you. There should be no other people now since they took care of it."
"Mr. Drake also asked me some strange questions today," Grace added.
"Mr. Drake?" Tyler was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, "He is my mother's junior. Don't worry if they ask about the news. I think my mother just wants to know if you are such a person. My mother and Mr. Drake both hate third parties very much."
After thinking for a while, Grace was relieved. "I see. No wonder Mr. Drake asked so many questions, but he still didn't admit it. It turned out that Laney was here."
It seemed that everyone knew about it.
When the news was released, most of the people who knew Grace would probably see it and misunderstand.
Grace gave a self-deprecating smile. It would be hard to turn the tables over this matter.
"It must be she who asked Mr. Drake to ask about it." Tyler didn't conceal anything and assured, "I'll tell my mother later."
"It's okay. There's no need to mention it!" Grace comforted, "I know the magic of entertainment news. Some things can be exaggerated. I'm in it and I understand the truth."
"Grace, doesn't Heinz have a way to give you a definite result?" Tyler asked.
She was stunned and looked up at Tyler. She picked up the coffee, took a sip, and replied, "It happened so suddenly and Heinz was also very confused. He has gone back to investigate the matter." Tyler frowned. "I'm a little relieved to see that you're fine and still strong."
"I'm okay." Grace smiled. "I'll cross the bridge when I get there. At this moment, I am afraid of nothing."
"How about the children?"
"They won't be afraid." Grace looked deep in his eyes and a hint of firmness flashed through her eyes. "My sons were not born with a silver spoon in their mouths. It might be good for their future growth if they face some hardships in advance."
"I was also afraid that the children couldn't stand it before, but now, I feel that Little Gary would not be affected. He is smart and would protect his brother," Grace established.
"Heinz will also protect the children and I will go back as soon as I am done with my work," she added.
Seeing this, a warm smile appeared on Tyler's face. He nodded and complimented her, "Grace, your current situation is enough to make a man ashamed."
Grace also smiled slightly. "Escaping the problem is not going to solve the issue. Tyler, although I don't know what you have encountered before, judging from the way you live your life, you must be running away from somethings."
Tyler was stunned and his gaze was deeper. He smiled meaningfully and said, "I have already forgotten it."
"It shows that you haven't let that matter go yet." Grace continued, "You haven't come out of the past. That's why you said that. It's a good thing that you forgot, but have you really forgotten?"
Tyler was startled. A hint of annoyance flashed across his handsome face and he lowered his gaze. Finally, he laughed self-deprecatingly, "I was supposed to come to comfort you, but it turned out to be you comforting me."
"It's better to face the matter than to run away. Perhaps facing it is the only solution to the problem."
Tyler looked up at Grace. He nodded and agreed, "You're right."
While they were talking, someone suddenly walked into the coffee shop.
There was a sudden pressure coming right at her. She looked up and saw her cousin, Zachary, who was looking at her and Tyler.
"Zachary." Grace stood up.
Zachary nodded slightly and looked at Tyler. His eyes were calm and deep. Then, he showed a faint smile.
"Long time no see," he greeted.
Tyler also stood up and looked at Zachary.
"Yes, it's been a long time."
"Do you two know each other?" Grace looked at them in surprise.
Zachary nodded. "He and I have known each other for many years. We met each other when we were abroad and have a deep relationship."
Tyler extended his hand.
Zachary also reached out, and they shook hands.
Grace was very impressed by it. She did not expect Tyler and her cousin to know each other.
"Why are you here?" Zachary asked Tyler.
Tyler did not answer. Instead, he looked at Zachary and took a closer look at him. "Are you cousins?"
"Yes, a close cousin." Zachary questioned, "How did you and my cousin get to know each other?"
Tyler was also amazed. "This world is so small. I really didn't think that you and Grace were cousins. It's funny that I knew Grace. When I was exiled, I happened to meet her. No one cared about me and she was the one that helped me."
"Zachary, we are on the same side." Grace said, "Tyler and I are good friends, and he also came for my matter."
"Oh!" Zachary gave Tyler a meaningful look and said with a glimmer in his eyes, "Sit down and let's discuss it together."
Tyler waved to the waiter not far away and also sat down. He thought of something and asked Zachary, "Do you still enjoy black coffee?"
"You haven't forgotten my preference," Zachary was surprised.
"Of course I won't forget." Tyler smiled. "Thinking of it, although there are many people on Wall Street, there are limited elites. You really left a deep impression on me."
"Thank you." Zachary nodded slightly to thank him.
"You're welcome." Tyler beckoned the waiter over. "Waiter, a cup of black coffee without sugar, please."
"Okay, please wait a moment," the waiter said kindly and quickly.
"Zachary, I forgot about a thing." After thinking for a while, Grace thought of Hermione. "My chief editor, Hermione, do you know her?"
Zachary nodded and said, "I've seen her in a hurry last time."
"Charles Lowe is her father," Grace claimed.
Zachary was stunned and looked at Grace. "Is she a member of the Lowe family?"
"Yes." Grace nodded and was very excited.
"She is my cousin and yours too."
"What a coincidence!" Zachary also smiled.
'Til meet her later to catch up with her."
"Why don't I call her?" Grace took out the phone. "Let's meet and have a chat."
"That's fine too."
