"I'm fine," Grace comforted her sister. "Don't worry. Nothing can beat us. It's not a big deal."

Alice was still worried. "I know that you are not an ordinary woman. I also know that you can hold on when you have difficulties, but this is your reputation."

"Don't be afraid," Grace reassured her. "Zachary and Tyler are both here with me. We're in Julesburg, while Heinz is in Northern City. We're both dealing with this matter. Don't worry about me. Take good care of yourself and don't argue with Jensen, okay?"

Alice's eyes were red. "Grace, I'm just worried about you. Don't worry about me, I'll remain calm. I will leave for the kindergarten nowand bring the children back with Butler Holland."

"Okay," Grace agreed. "Go ahead. Don't blame Heinz and don't blame anyone else. Now, the most important thing is to replace out the evil manipulator. It's not the time for internal strife."

Alice felt ashamed. In fact, she had scolded Heinz because she was angry. She knew that Jensen also wanted to solve the problem.

After putting down the phone, Alice turned to look at Jensen. He was only wearing a pair of trousers as he sat in front of the table and wrote something.

It was September and the weather was turning cold. She did not say anything. Instead, she went to the wardrobe and found a shirt for Jensen. When she came back, she quietly put it on for him. "Jensen, put on your clothes," she said.

Jensen looked back at her and a touch of warmth flashed across his eyes. He then comforted her, "Don't be afraid. I'm going to check on a few media outlets to replace out which was the first one to publish this." "Okay, my sister is not afraid and neither am I," Alice said.

"Good."

"I am going to ask Butler Holland to pick up the children," Alice stated.

Jensen nodded.

The two of them were busy with their own things. Alice quickly gave Butler Holland a call.

Jensen also called Heinz.

"Heinz, I've read the news," Jensen said. "You must investigate this matter for me," Heinz responded.

"Are you reporting it to the police now?"

"Yes." Heinz said, "If you don't have enough money. I can sponsor it. No matter what, I have to replace out the person behind this. You can investigate Jodie as she is probably the one who did it."

"Is she that great to be able to pull this off?" Jensen was still very suspicious.

"She's not, but we haven't seen each other for six years," Heinz replied sternly. "She's no longer the simple and lovely little girl we knew from six years ago. Now, she has become a different person, and you've also seen it before."

"So you suspect her?"

"Someone saw her plotting with others and discovered her whereabouts at the trading area. What a coincidence." Heinz paused and continued in a cold tone, "Lester is also investigating this matter. You guys can exchange information. I want to know who is causing trouble for Grace, and who is so daring as to provoke me."

"Okay," Jensen agreed. "I will head back to the police station immediately to investigate this matter."

"Please do it as soon as possible."

"Don't worry, I understand." Jensen hung up the phone and put on his clothes.

Alice also got ready. "Jensen, Butler Holland is coming to Hart Villa District to pick me up. You can head to the police station first."

"Okay." Jensen nodded. "Be careful."

"Okay!"

Jensen left first. Alice tied up her hair and was ready to go out.

She went downstairs and walked to the gate of the Hart Villa District Court with her bag on her back. Suddenly, someone stopped her.

"Miss Smith, please wait a moment."

Alice looked up and saw Aaron and she was stunned. "Dr. Clarke, what's the matter?"

With an unchanging calmness in his eyes, Aaron looked at Alice and stated, "I read the news about your sister."

Alice frowned and only felt that it was surprising for Aaron to approach her.

"Don't you have to work?" Alice asked. "You didn't come here to wait for me, did you?"

Aaron paused. He then smiled and nodded. "I didn't intentionally wait for you. I saw it in the morning and came out to handle some affairs. I happened to see that your boyfriend's car had left, so I waited here to try my luck. It's impossible for you not to go out because of such a matter."

"So, you came here to wait for me?" Alice was stunned. She really couldn't understand what Dr. Clarke was doing. "But why did you come here and tell me these things?"

"You know what happened between Jodie and me," Aaron continued. "I don't mean anything else. I just hope that lovers will eventually be married to each other."

"Thank you." Alice was polite. "I have to go now."

"Please wait for two minutes." Aaron quickly said, "I just need two minutes."

"Alright, go ahead." Alice looked at him and waited patiently.

"I know something about today's news," he continued.

"Do you know the inside story or something?" Alice looked sharply at Aaron. "Or are you with Jodie?"

"No, you've misunderstood." Aaron immediately shook his head and asked, "How could Jodie and I be partners?"

"Then what do you know?" Alice pressed on.

Aaron paused and explained, "Jodie came to see me."

Alice was surprised. She then thought of Jodie's reaction that day. When Aaron, who was her last life-saving person, left, Jodie didn't want to let go of him. In the end, Aaron still left. "Last night?"

Aaron nodded. "She came in the middle of the night, and left again."

"What do you want to say? Please just tell me, okay? I really don't get your point. It's almost been a minute. Can you hurry up?" She urged.

"Jodie said that if your sister disappeared, perhaps Heinz would change his mind." He gazed at Alice and continued, "I just want you to remind your sister to be careful. Maybe Jodie will use extreme measures if she continues to hold on to that matter."

Alice's heart jolted. She truly didn't think that Jodie would be so shameless.

"Could it be that Jodie wants to destroy my sister because she can't have Heinz?"

"She's in a bad place mentally." Aaron's eyes were filled with despair and loneliness. He then said softly, "I told her that Heinz wouldn't get back with her no matter what, and also advised her not to do stupid things."

"It's just that the news about your sister came out early this morning. I don't know if it has anything to do with Jodie. I just feel that she wouldn't have been able to pull this off," he explained.

Alice furrowed her brows in confusion. "Why are you telling me these? And how can I know if it's true?"

"If you don't understand why I'm doing this, then just think of it as me repaying you. I was very moved by the words you said in the hospital."

"Dr. Clarke, you've misunderstood," Alice said. "I agree with your feelings for Jodie, but I can't agree with your way of doing things. You knew that she was married but you still wanted to be with her. That is an obvious crime."
