True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 794
Aaron gritted his teeth and the blue veins on his forehead bulged. It was apparent that he was startled and infuriated by the question.
"What's bolder is that you even offered your lover to a foreigner personally which made her the exclusive domain of others."
Aaron started to tremble slightly and he couldn't sit still anymore.
Jensen's penetrating eyes were fixed upon Aaron while he continued to say, "Jodie probably didn't expect that the person who schemed against her was actually you. You loved her so much that you suffered a lot from that. You would rather ruin her than let her go. If you can't have it, then no one can."
Aaron narrowed his eyes and said in a harsh voice, "Don't talk nonsense. Our relationship is absolutely not the way you have assumed it to be so. She ended up like that due to her own actions. What does it have to do with me?"
"It's true that she deserved it." Jensen cast a glance at him and said with a smile, "However, don't you think you were responsible for it too?"
"She is a b*tch. What could I do?" Aaron was still talking incisively, "How could she be so self-righteous? She wants all the men to revolve around her life? She had been toying with me. Officer Charm, you are acting so weird. It sounded like you were on her side, were you also one of her 'guests of honor'?"
Jensen turned his eyes and said in a deep voice, "It's meaningless to divert the attention to others. You maliciously said these words to provoke my anger. I would advise you not to do this. It's useless." Aaron frowned and seemed to be a bit embarrassed as Jensen saw through his intentions. He snorted and said, "What you have done to me is most malicious. I am not as scheming as you claim." "God knows it all." Jensen smiled gently and said nothing more.
He took out his mobile phone and switched it on. Looking at the photos inside, he intentionally scrolled through the photos of Candace.
When Aaron saw Candace's photo, he was dumbfounded.
From the corner of his eyes, Jensen caught the astonishment in Aaron's eyes.
At that moment, Jensen knew that there was something more between Aaron and Candace. It was much more than just knowing each other casually.
Aaron saw Candace's face on the phone. He did see Candace's photo but he could not be completely sure whether it was Candace since it was only a quick glance.
He stepped forward quietly and watched Jensen looking at his phone across the table. Suddenly, Jensen flipped over the phone and placed it on the table.
Aaron was staggered.
Jensen raised his head and looked into Aaron's eyes and then locked them in place. There was a sparkle in Jensen's eyes.
"Since you want to show me the photo, why did you only show half of it?" Aaron reacted quickly and asked directly, "Didn't you come here to show me the photo? That was your main purpose, wasn't it?" Jensen was impressed. Aaron was very smart. It seemed that Aaron and Candace knew each other.
"If I didn't guess wrongly, you came here because of the person in the photo on your mobile phone." Aaron continued, staring at Jensen.
Jensen chuckled and nodded. "You're truly a clever person. Of course, I didn't come here just to chat with you."
He flipped the phone over and showed him the pictures inside.
Aaron was surprised when he saw the person on the screen.
Jensen stared at Aaron and said, "This woman, do you know her?"
Aaron stepped back and nodded. "Yes."
Fortunately, he didn't lie this time.
Jensen smiled and looked at Aaron. "How do you know each other?"
"She is the wife of a friend of mine," Aaron said.
Jensen squinted slightly, and he asked, "A friend's wife?"
"Officer Charm, you don't believe what I had just said," Aaron repeated. "Yet, you want to know more, but all I can tell you are things that you won't believe."
"How do you know that I won't believe it?" Jensen asked back, "Just say it. I can distinguish whether it's true or not. Which friend's wife was it?"
"When I first arrived in Alsburg, I met a friend and rescued him. He had an infection from a wound. Thus, I performed the operation on him." "Stephen?" Jensen gave him a name.
Aaron was awed and seemed to be a little surprised. "Officer Charm, your ability is truly beyond my expectations."
"So, it really is Stephen?" Jensen asked, "Is he the husband or boyfriend of that woman in the photo?"
"I don't know. But I guess she should be his wife. Stephen introduced her as so. At that time, they had a son who was about two years old. He was very cute with good-looking features," Aaron said. An idea flashed through Jensen's mind. It really was true.
That child should be Lowell. Thus, it was true, and Aaron wasn't lying.
"What's the name of that child?"
"Lowell." Aaron told him the child's name.
Surely enough, it was Lowell.
It seemed that Lowell was the correct answer. His father's name was Stephen.
"I think that they have a son, so they should be husband and wife." Aaron said, "And they seem to be old. Stephen should be in his fifties now, and Madam Lowe should be more or less the same. I didn't press for the details."
"Is Stephen Chinese?" Jensen asked again.
"Yes." Aaron said, "However, I don't know his Chinese name. I asked, but he didn't say it. All he said was that he was from the Northern City. He didn't want to mention the past and I can only respect his choice."
"How often do you contact them?" Jensen asked again.
"Not many times." Aaron said, "After returning to this country, I had met up with Madam Lowe twice, but I didn't see Stephen. Madam Lowe told me she wanted to see her daughter whom she had with her ex- husband in this community and hoped that I could help her get a passport."
Jensen got it. It seemed that her daughter was Alice.
He stared at Aaron as if he was confirming the truth from his words. "Her ex-husband's daughter?"
"Yes, Madam Lowe said that she wanted to sneak a glance at her," Aaron replied. "She didn't want to interfere with her daughter's life. Hence, I helped her get a passport to enter Hart Villa District." "How long did she stay in your house that day?"
Aaron thought for a moment and said, "About one and a half hours. It was not too long."
"A woman took the liberty of visiting you and talked to you for so long. She just wanted to discuss the passport, right?"
"Yes, it's true. But we had also talked about her unfortunate marriage. She had not been with Stephen for a long time, and her ex-husband didn't have a good relationship with her. Maybe it was all a tragedy."
