True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 999
Heinz was startled for a while, but soon after that, surprise and joy welled up in his eyes. "Grace, are you being serious?"
She blinked her eyes and sighed as she patted him on the shoulder. "President Jones, you look so cute when you're startled. If you can afford to care for the baby, I will be able to give birth to it."
He was very touched. He held her hand and pulled it near his lips as he said softly, "Grace, we'll surely be blessed with more kids and happiness."
"I think so too," she said as she gazed at him.
Heinz also looked at her with admiration, especially when he saw her hips. "Your hips look like you'll be able to easily give birth to sons."
She immediately felt lost for words.
He smiled smugly and leaned nearer to her ear. He said in a hoarse voice, "It's also very seductive and attractive."
She felt her ear itch, as well as goosebumps all over her skin. After a while, she finally said, "What are you talking about? Can't you behave properly?"
"I already have children. Why do I need to be proper?" He shrugged it off, "Besides, I couldn't have had a child if I was being proper all the time."
She was at a loss again.
He laughed even more as he lowered his voice, "If s certainly good to have more children, but the downside to this is that I have to resist throughout the entire pregnancy. That's so tough. Wouldn't it be great if we could solve this dilemma?"
He sounded more aroused as he continued. Grace simply stopped talking and merely stared at him.
How could she just let him have everything his way?
This man would think about sex all the time; she doubted he could replace a cure for it.
She took a long sigh at him and said, "You're really making me speechless. This must be why you couldn't sleep well last night, right?"
Heinz felt a little embarrassed and smiled faintly. "Isn't that a normal reaction? I mean, I've been living like a monk ever since we discovered you were pregnant."
Grace remained silent and examined him thoroughly from top to bottom, until her gaze landed on his crotch.
He immediately adjusted his waist in embarrassment, "What are you looking at?"
She said with a low voice, "I was wondering if you can really control yourself throughout the whole pregnancy."
She was really becoming more suspicious.
He asked, "I've been able to control myself for the past six years, what more a pregnancy?"
"Really?" She looked at his dark circles again, "I believe in you, but your dark circles will probably worsen as time passes by. Heinz, if you go on like this, your vision is going to get affected."
He had been struggling to fall asleep at night. The previous night, she vaguely recalled hearing Heinz take a cold shower, but she was too sleepy to react at that time.
Come to think of it now, Grace thought to herself, "It looks like we might have to sleep in separate rooms from now onwards."
"It's okay." Heinz was rather nonchalant about it. "Don't worry. I still can still control myself to a certain extent."
"I'm going to sleep with Maria tonight. You can sleep in the guest room yourself," she smiled and said. "Let's take this opportunity to be separate from each other until I give birth." "No." He rejected this idea almost instantly.
She was a little startled. "I'm doing this for your sake."
"I don't like it." He shook his head stubbornly.
He couldn't bear allowing his woman to sleep separately from him. It was fine if he couldn't enjoy himself, but it was not alright if he could not sleep beside her.
"We can't sleep in separate rooms. That will end up making spouses drift further away from each other. Let's just get used to this together," Heinz said.
Secretly, he was thinking that there were still ways to go about it, and once everything was stable, he wanted to see if he could try these ways.
Nevertheless, Grace rebutted him instantly.
"Forget it. If you truly cared for me, you would be willing to go to great lengths in resisting for my sake. Conversely, if you didn't care for me, you wouldn't take a look at me even though I'm right next to you," she responded. "Let's think of the long term and not risk anything for our child."
Heinz felt really aggrieved for himself.
She turned away to hide her smiles from him.
"Heinz is so adorably funny," she thought to herself.
Halfway through the conversation, the phone rang.
She picked up the phone and noticed that it was a call from Zachary.
"Grace." He sounded serious on the other end, "I'm not going over anymore. Something important came up."
"Zachary, I also have something important to talk to you about though." she said hurriedly.
"It can wait until tomorrow."
"Zachary, what is it that's so important?"
"I just came across an old friend of mine. I have something important to deal with with her." He sounded tense. "I'm worried she'll run away if I turn away from her now."
"Well, okay then." She said, "Actually, why don't you bring your friend to our house and have a barbecue together?"
"She certainly won't be interested," he answered. "She's seeing me the way a mouse would hide from a cat, so she'll probably choose to get killed over having dinner with me."
"What's the matter here? Does your friend owe you money?" Grace was really shocked.
Zachary simply responded, "We'll end here, I'm busy."
"Okay." She didn't know what else to say to him anymore, "Then I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay, HI contact you then." He hung up the call right after that.
"Is Zachary still coming?" Heinz asked her, "What is he busy with?"
"He said he couldn't make it because he's busy with an old friend of his."
"Let's secretly gather Maria's used cup after this, as well as the cup that your cousin will use when he comes over tomorrow. Then, we can send them over to the laboratory to compare their DNAs and see if they are related in any way," he ordered. "Before that, keep in mind to be discreet about this, including to your cousin himself."
"Got it," she nodded.
After the rest of the children were sent home, Grace held Maria's hand as they walked towards the guest room, "Maria, your mommy has to work overtime tonight, so you will be staying over here for the night. You'll soon be able to see your mommy tomorrow morning in the kindergarten."
"Why?" Maria was shocked and immediately started sobbing; she looked very hurt, "Does my mommy want to abandon me?"
Grace was stunned for a while and tried to comfort Maria, but Little Gary started talking first, "How could that be possible? You're such a cute kid. Who would have the heart to abandon you?"
Maria was still skeptical after hearing what he said, but she still checked with him, "Really?"
"Of course it's true. You have to believe that your mommy is a righteous woman. Otherwise, she wouldn't have raised you so well," Little Gary blinked. "Am I right? That's why she would never abandon you, ever."
