True Love
(Book 3) – Chapter 93

He releases his grip and walks away… Jean just watches the wiggle of her beautiful a*s. It made it more interesting to tell the truth, when women made it easy for him he was replaceing it a bit boring. But that stripper…

She sure made him feel different… and he wouldn’t rest until he had her in his bed.

-She’s going to make it hard for you, little brother. His brother laughs.

-Yeah, but I’ll have her.

-I doubt it! He replies, sipping his drink. -She doesn’t look the same as the girls here.

-They’re all the same! Money always dazzles them. He smiles, leaning back in his chair.

-Very well… I’ll have to see about that.

Jans took one last look at the girl who had rejected him for the second time in one night, and smiled… yes, he found this Kira interesting.

(…)

The night had ended well, or so Zoé thought as she took her backpack out of the metal locker. Her friend came to her side indicating that it was time to leave.

-Are you OK? She asked.

-Yes. She lied.

Since her encounter with that guy she felt strange, he had really humiliated her, not to mention the arm pulling she suffered. And at the table, he was such a jerk that he dared to say that she was going to be his. As if that was possible, he was crazy!

The girls left the bar and set off for home, what they didn’t know was that Jean and his brother were following them.

-Don’t you think we’d better give him a lift?

-If we do, we’ll scare them… I need to know where he lives.

-You know Jean, I’ve never seen you like this about a girl before… What makes this one different?

-That’s what I’d like to know. She answers him.

Zoé and Maya finally reach their street and the girls run like hell into the small, somewhat dilapidated building.

-Is that where they live? Being strippers… they should be able to afford better.

-What do you know? Jean asks, looking at him with an arched eyebrow.

-Hey! I’ve slept with a couple of strippers… and I’ve had to drive them home. And believe me brother, they live in good areas.

-But not her… -Is she so bad in bed that she doesn’t make enough money?

-You’ll have to try her.

-That’s what I intend to do.

-Well, you know where she lives. -Well, you know where she lives. Now let’s go, this area is not very good.

-Yes. Jean answers, looking at a flat that had just turned on the lights.

That’s where it must be… at that time of the morning and with two girls coming in. It was obvious. He started the car and drove away from the place.

(…)

-The night was horrible, the tips were pathetic… this isn’t enough to get out of this hole. Maya complains.

-I didn’t do well either. She replies sadly, taking out a few notes.

-I’m really going to have to opt for sleeping with one of those silver guys. Her friend lets go, lying down on the bed.

-No! Maya, for God’s sake, we’re not just any girls. We have to do something.

-What? Nobody wants to give us jobs, we’re stuck with this job. At least we get money.

Zoé lay down next to her, sighing… at some points she thought about whether they should go back to Texas, to the United States. At least for Maya it wouldn’t be bad, but for her… it would be like a sentence.

-Maya…

-Uh?

-And if we go back…

The brunette opened her eyes half sitting up. Look at her friend who seemed more worried about her answer.

-You’ve gone crazy! She let go. -How do you think we’re going back to Texas? They’d kill you… let alone what would happen to your virtue.

-Don’t remind me.

The young woman’s eyes watered… she didn’t want to remember the bad and terrifying times she had in Texas. But she didn’t want her friend to prostitute herself because of her, it wasn’t fair.

-Maya, you had a good job. We’d better go back and try to get it back.

-No way! She lies down again. -I’m not leaving you. I came with you and I’ll stay here.

-I don’t want you to sleep with anyone out of obligation because of me.

-Ahs! I don’t think I can do it… I am too much of a coward. She replies.

Her friend smiles, hugging the brunette… they both burst out laughing.

-We’ll see how we manage.

-You’re right. Zoé replies.

(…)

That morning Jean woke up hugging a pillow. What a disgrace, he thought. He should be cuddling with a beautiful redhead with perfect curves. But no… she was playing hard to get.

And that’s why, that night he’d go to see her at the bar… he’d do it every night if possible, just to get her into his bed. To her bed. Whatever it cost him. Strippers’ rates were usually expensive. But fortunately that wasn’t a problem for him.

He woke up… that morning he was going to visit Adrien at his flat, one that happened to be on the floor below his own. They had both fallen in love with the building’s facilities. So they opted to shop there. All in order to get out of the prison that was their father’s house.

Minutes later… He took the lift, and just then a freckled redhead entered with him. She was carrying a puppy in her hands. And she was wearing sports clothes. A large part of her abdomen was very visible. Jean didn’t hide when he saw her, and she didn’t seem to mind.

-Dubois, isn’t it? She says to him.

-Jean.

-Gloria. From your own flat.

-How lucky I am!

She just bites her lips, an invitation for Jean to ask her out on a date.

-Do you fancy going out to dinner with me tomorrow night.

-I’d love to! She replies as the lift door opens.

-I’ll pick you up at eight.

-Sure.

She gets out and he presses on his brother’s floor… by flirting he had missed the floor.

Adrien received Jean all sleepy… leaving the door open for him to pass through.

-What are you doing here? You’re so annoying… you don’t have to go bothering some woman.

-I just made an appointment with Gloria… What else are you waiting for?

-The redhead.

-Yeah. -She answers with a frown.

-She doesn’t like to be spanked.

-Did you f**k her?

-Yeah. Six months ago. -She’s an easy one!

-F**k… -Ahs!

Jean lies down on the sofa and her brother lies down on the other sofa. He squeezes his eyes.

-What’s for lunch?

Nothing. Go and fix something, won’t you?

-Ahs! Let’s go get something to eat…

-As you wish.

(…)

-This is enough to pay the rent and buy some food. Zoé said, counting the money.

-If the rats don’t eat everything.

-It’s a problem. Let’s go buy something to eat.

Walking with a brown bag in their arms, both friends stopped in front of a shop window displaying elegant clothes. They whispered something to each other and then laughed.

This caught the attention of Jean, who was sitting with his brother in a café having breakfast.

-F**k! It’s her…” he says, standing up.

-What? Adrien turns to see the black-haired girl with her friend.

Jean approaches them somewhat excited to see her again. Dressed like this in a preserved form only made her even more eager to see him.

-Hello ladies.

They both jump as they are caught in the street….

-You? Zoé replies with a frown.

-It’s good to see you again.

-I can’t tell you the same thing.

The girl folds her arms, to which he frowns and his teeth start to chatter… Why did she have to be so surly? Jean wondered…

She was always going to be running into that guy all the time, Zoé thought. Because if she was, she had no idea how to get him off her back. The only thing she could do was kick the shit out of him.

-Well, I’m glad to see you. He smiled at him, but the gesture had not been reciprocated.

-If that’s all I was going to say, then goodbye.

Zoé grabs her friend’s arm and pulls her away, but a hand grabs her other arm. She turns around, clearly angry.

-What’s wrong with you?

-Can’t we have a friendly conversation?

-No! She lets go, looking at her arm. -Let go of me.

-Not until you tell me your name.

-Never.

The two engage in a staring battle hoping that one of them will lose. But of course, the couple wasn’t willing to lose.

-Dude, come on… tell him and he’ll leave us alone. Maya gave her a serious look.

-That’s the problem with these guys, if you give them confidence they think they can have you. She answers looking at Jean.

Although the difference in stature was quite considerable, Zoé didn’t feel intimidated by the aura that was pervading around her.

-I just want to know your name. She smiles. -The rest will come later.

-You’ll be waiting! She abruptly lets go to run away.

Jean Pierre just stands there watching her go, and smiles… her every resistance to him only made him want to take her to bed even more. That stripper was going to be his.
