After hanging up the phone, Clara paid the bill and left the restaurant,

Meanwhile, in U city, Emmett put down his phone and took a careful look at the PPT made by Lambert.He nodded approvingly, “Meeting adjourned.”

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief seeing the relaxed expression on his face.

Lambert approached with some documents, cautiously saying, “Mr. Melendez, how about we grab abite together? I’m not sure if I may have this honor!”

“Sure,” Emmett glanced at his watch, “Nothing fancy, I just want to discuss the new project’s designswith you privately, don’t call anyone else.”

“Alright!” Lambert quickly nodded, immediately turning to make preparations.

Emmett also stood up, straightening out his clothes.

Ricardo chuckled softly at his side, “Mr. Melendez, if you’re dining with Lambert, do I need to come?”

“You don’t want to?”

“Not at all! I’m just afraid I might interrupt your conversation.”

“You’re one of us,” Emmett exited the meeting room.

Ricardo was taken aback, then chuckled and quickly followed.

Arriving at the restaurant prepared by Lambert, Emmett immediately handed over the few design draftsmade by Clara.

“Take a look, how are these designs?”

Lambert carefully took them and glanced over, “The creativity is great, who’s the designer?”

“You don’t need to know that for now, how about I let her be in charge of the company’s designingdepartment?”

“That would depend on the main direction of the project. I had a quick look just now, the innovation isgood, but lacking of practicality, seems like a newbie. Lambert cautiously said in front of Emmett.

“She indeed is a newbie,” Emmett chuckled. He brought the designs to Lambert because Lambert hasgreat talent in architectural design. He was the one who took a leap of faith in-hiring Lambert initiallyand later sent him to the U city branch.

“For someone who managed to catch Mr. Melendez’s eye, this designer can’t be just any ordinaryperson, right? I’d like to meet them!”

“You’ll have the chance in the future. The reason I asked you out for a meal is to see if you’d be willingto take on an apprentice?”

Lambert exclaimed in surprise, “An apprentice? Mr. Melendez, we don’t usually take apprentices in thisline of work.”

“What if this person is my wife?”

Lambert jumped up from his chair in shock, “Ah? Your wife? The Mrs. wants to learn architecturaldesign?”

Emmett waved his hand, “Calm down, sit down first. I’ll respect your opinion. If you’re not willing, I won’tmention it again. We’ll just

have our meal as usual.”

“Wait! Since it’s the Mrs., how could I possibly not help? If the Mrs. has any questions, feel free toreach out to me!” Lambert chuckled, “All the achievements I’ve had in this industry are due to Mr.Melendez’s trust and praise! This is something I will never forget.”

“So, according to what you’ve said, I take it that you’ve agreed.”
