Unclaimed Luna’s Desire
Chapter 17 The Hypocritical Gentleman

Aelros's

POV:

I had just arrived at Weslin's house when he attacked me, springing from a hidden shadow and attempting to bring me down.

After I dodged his initial strike, I saw a look of regret on his face for failing in his ambush.

He was an experienced wolf, and this was the true face of Weslin-vigilant, perceptive, and dangerous. He was nothing like the gentle and peaceful persona he presented to Ellie.

He was the youngest and most outstanding professor at the Moonlit University, and my secret sources suggestted that he might be another mysterious and threatening Alpha in the pack. But I didn't think I would lose to him. Weslin acted like an adult teasing a child, predicting and countering my every move with precision. His attacks were relentless and elusive, making it nearly impossible for me to get close to him.

While I could match him in strength, I was far from satisfied. My only goal was to defeat this deceiver, expose his true nature, and reveal everything to Ellie.

"Aelros, this is my territory, and Ellie belongs to me. You must leave, or I will kill you." Ellie was not present, so Weslin no longer needed to maintain the facade. He now appeared cold and indifferent, his silver-gray eyes, visible through his glasses, gleaming with killing intent.

At that moment, I was certain that we both wanted to kill each other-only the victor could claim Ellie.

Naturally, his threats did not intimidate me. I clenched my fists, ready to attack and bite his throat at any moment.

"I will take Ellie away today." I said firmly.

"Really? I don't think so," Weslin chuckled, looking at me disdainfully.

However, when Ellie walked out of the house, Weslin immediately changed his demeanor, abandoning his aggressive stance. He appeared vulnerable and deliberately exposed his weaknesses in front of me several times.

Even when I showed my sharp claws and teeth, Weslin surprisingly welcomed the challenge.

When Weslin fell to the ground, I saw Ellie scream in fear and rush to him, looking worried. "Weslin, are you okay?"

Ellie didn't even glance at me, staring directly at Weslin.

I was so angry that my teeth were grinding.

Most of Weslin's attacks on me were directed at areas under my clothing, making them difficult to notice. In contrast, Weslin's injuries were always on exposed skin, which made it easy to mistake him as the one who was severely injured. This cunning wolf!

So, taking advantage of Weslin's act, I grabbed Ellie and quickly left Weslin's house with her.

I preferred a more straightforward solution.

Weslin obviously didn't expect my choice. In his script, I should have been furious, argued with Ellie, and then left his house.

...

I brought Ellie back to the cabin and noticed she was still concerned about Weslin's wellbeing."Weslin is not what you see. You've been deceived." I reminded. But clearly, Ellie, the fool, didn't understand my meaning.

"Aelros, you shouldn't fight with him. Weslin is badly injured, and I could see many wounds on him, bleeding!" Ellie pushed me away with her hand, walking out without looking back.

She said firmly, "Weslin lives alone in the house and needs my care now. I need to go back."

"Staying here is the safest!" I was angry that Ellie didn't listen to me.

Ellie even showed favoritism toward my enemy, that damn Weslin!

I impatiently grabbed Ellie's arm, threw her onto the bed, and tied her to the bedpost with the curtains. "You can't go anywhere until I come back!"

"Aelros, please don't do this." Ellie struggled to break free but failed.

Ellie was too naive and kind, unaware of how complex, cunning, and evil people could be. I must help her see their true faces.

After ensuring Ellie couldn't escape, I locked the door and left.

...

Back at the pack, I immediately joined a secret meeting.

"Before challenging Alpha Joseph, we need to encroach on his rights within the pack," Paul said."

"Most of Joseph's rights have now been transferred to William. I think Joseph has plans to make William the next Alpha. And now, William's abilities are getting stronger, posing a significant threat to us," another friend of mine said. "Our enemy is not just Joseph, but also William!" my ally sighed, clearly believing that defeating both of them would be a Herculean task.

"William?" Paul elegantly raised his cup, took a sip, and said calmly, "He's just a waste. If Joseph hands over the rights to him, it's no different from giving them to us directly."

At the round table, Paul and my comrades were discussing strategies to bring down Joseph, but my mind was elsewhere, lingering on the cabin and not on myself.I was thinking about the lack of food and water in the cabin. Ellie was tied to the bed, and she must be uncomfortable. I didn't know if she had eaten. And her body needed care.

All of this was Weslin's fault!

That despicable Weslin used his gentle appearance and sweet words to deceive Ellie!

Everyone except me wanted to harm her!

After the meeting, Paul stopped me, leaned in, and sniffed at my side before smiling. "Why do I smell Ellie's scent? Did you bring her back?"

Although he casually asked, I knew Paul was also eager to possess Ellie.

When I saw him put his fingers in Ellie's mouth, I could clearly sense his affection and interest in Ellie."

"You know Weslin-he's too mysterious and dangerous. I couldn't take Ellie away." I didn't want to reveal her whereabouts, as it would only bring unnecessary trouble. So, I chose to keep it a secret.""Really?" Paul looked at me skeptically. I shrugged, pretending nonchalance. "Believe it or not. After all, you know that Ellie and I have no relationship. I have no reason to become enemies with Weslin for Ellie. It's meaningless."

After saying that, I looked straight at Paul, showing no hesitation.

Paul and I stared at each other for a long time before he suddenly laughed. "Hey, bro, relax. Maybe I just confused the smell. After all, I've missed Ellie for so long that having hallucinations is normal."I knew Paul might not believe my words, but at least it would confuse his thoughts a bit.

Although tonight was a full moon and I knew this decision was very dangerous and could expose my weaknesses at any moment, I had to see Ellie.

Too many people were thinking about her, each trying to claim her for themselves. I needed to keep an eye on her at all times.

Otherwise, I couldn't guarantee her safety.

Moreover, she needed to be taken care of.
