Unclaimed Luna’s Desire
Chapter 28 The Peacock Display

Ellie's POV:

When I woke up, the hangover made my head throb.

As I regained consciousness, I noticed Aelros had carried me back to my bed. I was still wearing the sexy lingerie I had bought the night before.

The thought of what had happened last night made me feel extremely ashamed. I had begged Aelros like a prostitute, even expressing my love to him boldly, which I had never dared to say before. What ridiculous things had I done!

As I walked out of the bedroom, I saw Aelros waiting for me.

I couldn't face or even look at him. I could imagine how Aelros would punish me, especially after the memory of me disobediently entering his room last time. I couldn't forget it.

Strangely, Aelros saw me and acted as if nothing had happened, bringing out food that had already been prepared.

Aelros said, "I'm going out for training today, so you don't have to wait up for me. Just go to your room and get some sleep."

I knew why Aelros reminded me. He didn't want me to show up in his room again.

I had never been so embarrassed.

I blushed and shook my head, not daring to look into Aelros' eyes. I assured him, "Last night was an accident. I'm sorry I got drunk. I won't do that again."

Aelros cleared his throat and expressed his opinion, "It's okay. I actually quite like your candidness."

I didn't expect Aelros not to be angry or to refrain from punishing me.

It was unbelievable. I had anticipated facing Aelros' punishment.

I was relieved that Aelros, for some reason, let me off the hook.

Thinking about Aelros' plans for today, I gathered the courage to hold his hand and pleaded, "Aelros, can I join you in training today?"

I knew it might cause trouble for Aelros, but I expressed my inner thoughts for the first time, "I don't want to be bullied anymore. If there's a next time, I hope I can personally kick William's ass." I shook Aelros's arm, unintentionally sounding coquettish. "Please."

Aelros hesitated.

Seeing Aelros's hesitation, I knew I had a chance and just needed to be more sincere.

I handed him the milk and blinked at him. "Please."

"Ok, fine." Aelros took the milk I offered and eventually agreed to my request, but he also set a condition, "But you must follow my commands."

I jumped up happily, nodding earnestly. "Don't worry. I will definitely listen to you."

...

Aelros' training ground was deep in the forest, with only a few people training inside, including Paul, Amy, Mason, and Ryan.

When Amy saw me, she approached and carefully examined my body.

Afterward, she smiled and said, "You are much healthier now compared to last time. You're just a bit malnourished and still need more nutrition."

I nodded, taking note of her advice.

Last time in the cabin, Amy had bandaged my wounds, and I was grateful to her.

Amy was professional, so I had no reason not to trust her.

"Your metabolism has increased, so you need more food to prepare for the transformation." Amy smiled at me. "It seems you're about to have your own wolf. Congratulations."

I didn't expect Amy to be able to tell that I was about to have my own wolf.

She was truly a skilled doctor.

"Thank you for your advice." I smiled friendly at Amy.

As I talked with Amy, I keenly noticed that Aelros had already entered the field.

He fought shirtless with Mason, and I could hardly take my eyes off him. Aelros' strong physique and well-defined muscles almost seemed to glow in the sunlight. I had left scratches on that body, even though it had been in bed. When he attacked, I couldn't help but gasp. Aelros was so fast that I could hardly catch his movements.

His attacks were swift and powerful, leaving Mason unable to defend himself against almost every strike. Mason could not counterattack, and even his defensive movements were sluggish.I dared to say that Aelros and Mason's fight was like a cat catching a mouse.

If Aelros wanted to end the fight, he could easily bite Mason's throat.

In the next moment, Aelros let out a low growl and transformed into a massive silver wolf in a single pounce. His movements were so swift that I could barely follow them, and the silver wolf had already pinned Mason down with his claws.Mason was powerless, showing his belly and raising his hands high to surrender.

I couldn't help but scream, raising my hands and cheering, "Aelros! Winner!"

My gaze involuntarily followed Aelros' figure.

He was simply too amazing.

...

Paul's POV:

When Ellie followed Aelros into the training ground, I immediately noticed her.

Ellie seemed like a different person. No longer haggard, she had gained some weight, and her complexion had significantly improved.

She became more charming and attractive, like a bud ready to bloom, gradually shedding the dusty hues from her body.

I could hardly take my eyes off her, and as soon as Ellie came in, I walked up to her.

"Hi Ellie, it's been a while. You look much better now." I waved at her.

Seeing no response from Ellie, I continued, "What have you been up to lately? I haven't heard from you in a long time. I heard you're training for the transformation into a wolf. Do you need my help?"

My attempt to catch Ellie's attention failed. Her focus was entirely on Aelros in the battlefield, and I even doubted whether she had heard what I said.

I was puzzled by the recent changes in Ellie. The last time we met, Aelros still harbored hostility toward her, but now they appeared very close.

Meanwhile, Aelros was acting despicably. He was flaunting himself during the fight with Mason, much like a peacock displaying its feathers to attract a mate.

Others might not have noticed, but knowing Aelros well, I saw through his intentions completely. I was tempted to call Mason down and fight Aelros myself.

Aelros typically trained for efficiency, avoiding flashy moves. In other words, he could end a fight in two minutes but performed for ten minutes to capture Ellie's attention. Moreover, Aelros' middle-schooler-like tactic actually worked. As I watched Ellie become completely focused on Aelros, I felt resentment gradually rising in my heart.

'Why? I was the first to notice Ellie, yet now not only has Aelros tasted her, but her heart also belongs to him. It's unfair. I'm so gentle, caring, and chivalrous toward Ellie. Even the last time we met, she liked me, didn't she? Damn, Aelros! What did he do? I can't accept this. Ellie should have been mine, and I won't give up. I will possess her,' I thought.
