Unclaimed Luna’s Desire -
Chapter 34 A Gift
Paul's POV:
Ever since I caught a glimpse of Ellie on the training ground, I couldn't get her out of my head. It was driving me nuts.
Ellie was this delicate beauty, and I couldn't stop daydreaming about her being mine.
I really wanted to be with her.
Ellie was perfect, so tempting, and seeing her with Aelros made me insanely jealous.
I had my eye on Ellie for a while. Poor girl, always getting picked on by William because she didn't have a wolf.
She was often bruised and scarred, but that just made her more attractive to me.
I couldn't wait to touch her, to leave my mark on her soft, sensitive skin.
It sucked that she let Aelros, a guy with zero romantic experience, be her first.
Aelros knew I was into Ellie, so he kept her hidden away in one of his secret places.
He was super protective of her, and I couldn't replace out much about her.
But I wasn't in a rush.
As a predator, I knew how to be patient for someone like Ellie.
Everything was falling into place.
I always believed that the longer you wait, the sweeter the reward, and Ellie was worth the wait.
So when the Garcia couple wanted to meet me, I didn't mind giving them a little hint.
Today, I went to a regular party, just like always.
I didn't really like these noisy public events, but as the deputy leader, I had to show up to keep the Pack stable.
After saying hi to my friends, I found a quiet corner, and this random guy followed me.
As soon as he walked in, I noticed he was looking for me.
No one could hide from me.
Sure enough, as soon as I sat down, he came over. "Mr. Haisk, finally!"
I kinda remembered him, just a bit.
He was a friend of the Garcia couple.
"Hey there." I nodded, keeping it polite but distant.
During our chat, I realized he was eager to be friends.
I usually didn't bother with civilians unless there was something in it for me, but since he was tight with the Garcias, I decided to give him a shot.
I casually mentioned how lonely I'd been feeling. I was really lonely because Ellie was always with Aelros, like they were a couple, but I thought she should be with me.
It bugged me that Aelros, who hadn't done anything to deserve her, got Ellie. I couldn't accept it.
I thought I was the perfect match for Ellie.
When I joked and chatted with her, she always looked at me with those big, bright eyes, like it was just the two of us in the world, and she seemed so happy.
I didn't believe she had no feelings for me.
I thought she was only with Aelros because of some sense of duty, not because she really liked him.
Only I could have her.
I was willing to meet the ordinary Garcia family for Ellie.
Sure enough, as I was about to head home that evening, someone slipped a thin envelope into my pocket.
I had a feeling I was about to get what I wanted.
When I saw what was inside, I couldn't help but grin.
There was a room key and a note that said: [A gift from the Garcia family.]
I recognized the room key-it was for one of my secret cabins.
I didn't expect the Garcias to get their hands on it and set up a big surprise to get close to me.
I couldn't wait to accept the gift that was meant for me, so I headed home to get ready and show Ellie how much she meant to me.
While showering, I closed my eyes and all I could think about was meeting Ellie later.
I even started humming with excitement, the sound of the water adding to my anticipation.
I shaved and picked out my favorite suit.
I couldn't wait to see Ellie, but I still had to look my best. After all, dressing up was a sign of respect for the date.
I believed Ellie would appreciate it.
I couldn't wait for our perfect first night together.
On my way to meet Ellie, I was filled with anticipation and joy.
When I passed by a flower shop, I couldn't help but stop.
Through the big glass window, I saw all these beautiful flowers on display, and they made me think of Ellie's smile. No, her smile was even more beautiful than any flower. It was perfection.
Ellie deserved a bouquet to match her beauty.
I wanted to give her all the beautiful things in the world to show how much I cared. But time was running out, so I could only get her a bouquet for now.
As I stopped, the shop assistant came up and asked, "Would you like to choose a bouquet for your luna?"
I had to admit, hearing "my luna" made me really happy.
I thought that if I brought flowers to Ellie, she'd definitely be thrilled.
"Yes, I'm going to see my luna." I nodded.
I asked the shop assistant for advice and picked out the bouquet I thought was perfect for Ellie.
"Can I wrap this bouquet myself?" I asked as the shop assistant got the wrapping paper ready. "I want to personally wrap it for my luna."
"Oh my! Sir, you really love your luna! I'm sure your mate will be very happy!" The shop assistant showed me how to wrap the flowers, smiling and winking. "You're such a thoughtful and romantic partner. Your mate will appreciate it." I thought, 'Yes. Ellie will definitely love it!'
I took the beautifully wrapped bouquet, thanked the shop assistant, and left.
I couldn't wait to spend a romantic and wonderful night with Ellie.
