Inside the lounge, Tiffany's lashes fluttered when she saw Vincent twist open the ointment tube. "Mr. Lewis."
He stopped and looked at her. She sat straight and said, "Uh... you can give me the ointment. I'll apply it myself."
He glanced at her again. Then, he asked uncertainly, "Can you really do it yourself?"
"Yes, I can." She nodded firmly.
Vincent didn't push the matter. He twisted the tube shut and handed it to Tiffany. "Remember to massage it onto the area. It wouldn't feel comfortable to just leave it and let it bruise."
He couldn't help glancing at her shoulder. The thought of her fair skin excited him a little.
"Okay." Tiffany nodded. "I'll get going..."
Before she could finish, his phone rang. He glanced at it before answering it. "Hello?"
Kelly's voice rang out on the other end of the line. "Are you busy, Mr. Lewis?"
"Yeah. Do you need anything?" Despite being on the phone, Vincent couldn't help glancing at Tiffany. She stood there quietly and obediently.
"I'm outside your office. Grandma made some soup and told me to bring it to you. Alex said you were busy, though," Kelly said.
Vincent lowered his eyes. "Wait there."
He hung up and left the lounge, with Tiffany behind him. She sat at her desk. Her shoulder still hurt, but she could only endure it.
Two minutes later, Kelly entered the office. She looked in Tiffany's direction as soon as she walked in. Her gaze was surprised. "Tiffany?" The latter stood up. "Ms. Harrison."
Kelly appraised her and said with a smile, "I heard you were promoted. Congratulations."
Her words sounded off to Tiffany, but she didn't seem mad. Tiffany pursed her lips, unsure of what to say in response.

Kelly's smile widened. "You've got me wrong. I'm genuinely happy for her. Why would I put her in a tough spot?"
She walked over to Vincent's desk and put the Thermos flask down She continued, "I worked here for more than a year, so I know what the people are like here. I'm truly happy for Tiffany." en Narugi
Vincent's impression of her improved slightly. "You can leave the soup. Thanks for coming."
"Grandma told me to make sure you
finish every drop. She even told me to wash the flask before heading home." Kelly's meaning was clear-she wasn't going anywhere just yet. She meant nothing to Vincent, but Anna was different.
Vincent adored Anna. He'd allowed Kelly into his office immediately upon hearing that Anna had sent her, hadn't he?
Kelly had faith that he wouldn't kick her out now that she'd told him she was here on Anna's orders.
"Pour the soup into a bowl so I can have some," he said.
"Okay." Kelly headed to the pantry to get a bowl. She scooped some of the soup into it before giving it to Vincent.
"Is this chicken soup?" He frowned as he glanced at it.
"Yeah." She noticed the look on his face and asked, "What's wrong with it?"
