Vincent glanced at Madeline and replied smoothly, "Thank you for the offer, ma'am, but I'm already taken."

Vincent nudged Alex playfully. "Don't worry, my assistant here is single, though. If you think he's suitable, perhaps you could give it a shot." Madeline's eyes lit up as she gave Alex a closer look. While Alex lacked Vincent's magnetism, he was handsome and had an air of reliability.

The more she looked, the more she approved. "Young man, your boss has spoken! How about I introduce you?"

Alex was at a complete loss for words.

The three of them headed upstairs to room 3202.

Noticing the light inside, Madeline knocked on the door. After several unanswered knocks, Vincent intervened. "Ma'am, could you please open the door with the spare key?" "Sure." Madeline quickly found the key and opened the door.

The room was lit, but empty. Madeline noticed the bathroom light was on and approached.

"Tiffany?" she called out.

But there was no response.

Her knocks became more insistent. "Tiffany? Tiffany, are you in there?"

At first, Tiffany thought it was a hallucination. But as the knocking persisted, she realized it was real; someone had come to save her!

She struggled to rise, her limbs heavy.

Finally, she managed to croak, "I'm here... Madam Burton, save me."

Hearing the plea, the three outside knew that something was terribly wrong. Vincent tried the bathroom doorknob, but it was locked.

He turned to Madeline. "Do you have a spare key for the bathroom?"

"No, students keep the bathroom keys themselves." Madeline shook her head.

Vincent turned back to the bathroom door. "Tiffany, do you have the bathroom key?"

"Yes, it's in... the second drawer of the desk." Her voice was weak and strained.

"The second drawer of the desk!" Vincent repeated her words aloud.

Alex moved and retrieved the key swiftly.

Vincent unlocked the door and stepped inside.

Suddenly, he spotted a set of

pajamas on the bed. He grabbed et

them and handed them to Madeline.

"Madam Burton, we're all men. Could you please help her?"

"Sure." Madeline took the clothes and entered the bathroom. Vincent and Alex waited anxiously outside.

Moments later, Madeline emerged, supporting Tiffany.

Tiffany stumbled out of the bathroom and nearly collapsed.

Vincent reacted instantly and tried to steady her. "Are you alright?"

"The bathroom air conditioning was too strong. She's probably too cold to speak," Madeline explained. We need to help her to the bed quickly and cover her up."

Tiffany's legs trembled, and violent shivers wracked her body. Each step felt like wading through cotton.

Seeing this, Vincent reacted swiftly

He bent down, gathered her into his arms, and carried her to the bed.

After covering Tiffany with a blanket, he instructed Alex, "Find the remote and turn up the heat."

Despite their efforts, Tiffany continued to shiver uncontrollably.
