Chapter 134

Meanwhile, Lorraine had set up a small table under a big tree in her cherry orchard. She brewed a pot of tea and placed a bunch of freshly picked cherries on the table.

She then slowly enjoyed the tea and the cherries in high spirits.

The Sentennial cherries were just as flavorful as she had wanted. They would definitely fetch a higher price than even the Bing variant.

The fruit sales problem that had plagued Lorraine all day was finally resolved

All of the fruit wholesalers that got in contact with her had agreed to purchase her cherries and ship them off for sale in other cities, which required batches of cherries in large quantities. Hence, her cherries would not have to tot on the trees.

Even though it was their first transaction, all of the wholesalers had also pre-ordered the cherries for the subsequent year as well as various other fruits that Lorraine's orchards could provide. Lorraine had learned from her mistakes and suggested for the wholesalers to sign a contract. The fit wholesalers happily agreed, signed the contracts, and paid half of the amount as a deposit. Lorraine was now at ease after resolving her biggest problem. She decided to take a break under the tree and enjoy her tee.

She snapped a photo to post on Instagram, lamenting the absence of treats from Moonlight Pastries, which would be absolutely perfect for such a moment

Lorraine had only tried the treats from Moonlight Pastries once. They were indeed as delicious and beautiful as the names had said, which justified their high price. Lorraine started living a frugal life ever since she returned to her hometown to grow fruits. Her parents refused to give her any money, so she had to borrow some to kickstart her career as an orchardist

As such, Moonlight Pastries became a place that she could only pass by but never enter as she could not afford to spend such a lavish amount of money. Suddenly, bet phone started ringing

Lorraine pulled out her phone and so that it was a call from an unknown number. She assumed that it was another customer interested in her orchards and quickly picked up the call

The caller then asked, "Hello, are you Ms. Lorraine Sommer?"

"Yes, I am. And you are?

"I'mealling to make a delivery.

Lorraine replied, “But I didn't order anything."

The caller was Michael, who was personally delivering the treats from Moonlight Pastries to Lorraine. He wanted to see if he could meet up face to face with the venerable Mrs. Moore who had made Logan fall head over heels for her.

As Logan's butter, Michael had already learned about Lorraine being Logan's wife despite Logan never telling him about it

Michael explained, "Ms. Sonner, I'm here to deliver you treats from Moonlight Pastries on behalf of Mr. Moere."

Lorraine was puzzled as to why Logan had ordered delivery for her

She then immediately recalled the post she had made on Instagram and surmised that Logan must have seen it and ordered treats from Moonlight Pastries for her. Considering that Moonlight Pastries was in the city, the distance between the orchards and the city would have demanded quite a big amount in delivery fees.

Logan's thoughtful gesture warmed Lorraine's heart.

Michael continued, "Ms. Sonner, I've arrived in front of your orchards "

Lorraine immediately stood up and replied, "Give me a moment I'll be right out. Oh yeah, I have a few guard dogs around the entrance. But don't worry, they won't bite if you don't run away or shout at them. Someone will be coming to hold them back right away"

Michard looked at all the guard dogs staring at him and replied with a hum

The worker in charge of guiding the guard dogs had heard the conversation between Lorraine and Michael and realized that he was just here to deliver the treats. He smiled at Michael and then led the dogs inway.

Michael quietly wiped off the sweat on his forehead as he watched the g guard dogs leave,
