a yet, especially since they hadn't developed mutual feelings. Besides, it was still know who would be the first to capture the other's heart.

As time went on, Lorraine found herself starting to develop feelings for Logan. At first, she had thought about marrying just anyone to escape her parents' constant nagging and concentrate on her career. Falling in love with Logan wasn't part of her plan. Now, however, she thought that he was a good guy and was open to developing their relationship.

He chuckled lightly. "Well, once the kid's asleep tonight, let's see who can charm the other first"

She glanced at him and rebuked, "I don't have time for that right now. Let's save it for after this busy stretch"

Logan Laughed softly. He was confidenthe had one wipped around his anger. Once he won her heart, everything else would fall into place.

After all, they were married, so he shouldn't have to spend lonely nights hugging a pillow.

Unbeknownst to her, he was a cunning fox in disse who was scheming to win her heart

Once they returned to the Somner residence, Irene and Charles had already returned from town. They were busy preparing the dishes.

When the two families met, they exchanged friendly and polite conversation. While observing the harmonious interaction, Lorraine took the Initiative to assist with cooking Logan, weary of Joslin's continual praise of Lorraine and subtle riticism of him, joined in to help in the kitchen

Joslin and Hestia praised Lorraine as the finest woman in the world. In contrast, Irene and Charles viewed Logan in the same light. They complimented him as a great man. Then, Lorraine's grandfather, Gabriel Sommer, added, "The best man and woman make the perfect match. It's clear that Raine and Logan are meant to be together." Everyone agreed with him.

Lorraine and Logan, who were busy in the kitchen, exchanged a glance and smiled wryly

The two families chatted happily and soon began discussing the wedding plans.

Hestia said, "I liked Lorraine the moment I saw her. We'll make sure she's treated with the utmost respect. If you have any requests or a specific amount of dowry in mind, just let us know. We'll be happy to accommodate."

charles replied, "We're marrying off our daughter, not putting a price on her. You can give whatever you think is appropriate. The amount should reflect how much you value Haine, Just to clarity, no matter how much you decide to give, we'll make sure it goes directly to her."
