Kane went back down to his office and sat in silence. He never thought he'd be a daddy.

What am I going to do? I have no idea how to be a dad.

He looked out his window in deep thought. He knew one thing: he wouldn't be like his father in any way. His child would know how loved they were and how much they were wanted. There was a knock on his door and he snapped out of his thoughts.

Come in.

Olivia came in.

Alfa I need to talk to you.

Okay leave that door open I don't trust you.

She sat down and bowed her head.

Sir I just wanted you to know how sorry I am for everything that happened. I never should have said the things I said to our Luna or to you. I will make it up to you guys I promise. He looked at her and saw the honesty in her eyes.

You have nothing to make up to me for but you're Luna may feel different. I don't speak for her. Right now leave it all because she doesn't need any kind of stress right now. Yes sir. I'll leave now. Thank you for speaking with me.

With that she left, closing the door behind her. There was another knock.

The door opened. It was Summer.He walked up to her and helped her to the couch.

What are you doing?

I couldn't sleep. Can I come in here with you?

Yes, do you want a blanket?

Yes please.

He went and got her a blanket. She took her book from the table and started reading. She was quiet for a while so he looked up and saw she'd falling asleep. He smiled and went over and made sure she was covered. Then he went to his desk and went back to work. Summer was startled awake by someone pounding on the office door.

It was one of his warriors.

So sorry sir but there was an attack on the east side.

How many?

Six two of there's were killed and one of ours was injured. We caught one of them in the dungeon. Okay I'll be down for a few minutes to talk to them.

Summer do you wanna stay here and rest or go to bed? I'm really exhausted. I'm going to try to sleep in the bed. Okay my love, do you want me to take you upstairs? As much as I'd love that you got work to do.

He went to her and kissed her softly on the forehead. She smiled and went back upstairs he sent a text to Eric.

Business down in the dungeon we were attacked earlier.

Kane slid his phone in his pocket and went down to the dungeon.
