Sam was waiting on the training field when Eric ran up to her.

You're a fast runner Sam. Lets see how your reflexes are next.

Okay I'm ready.

Eric went to punch her but she blocked him.

That's great. I'm glad you do that. A Lot of us try to control our wolves.

They fought in silence until Kane came up to them.

Sam, you look amazing when you're fighting.

Kanes phone rang and he looked at it. Panic ran across his face

What's wrong?

One of the guards at the house said Summer passed out. I got to go.

He took off running.

Where is she?

In the kitchen the doctor is with her.

Thank you for calling him.

No problem sir is she okay?

I don't know yet.

He paced waiting for the doctor to come out. When he did, Kane looked at him.

She needs to stay in bed and not be stressed in any way. She's very anemic. She needs to eat plenty of greens and iron rich foods. And take these.

Okay he took the medicine and put it in his pocket he picked her up and carried her to their bedroom and laid her down.

I'm sorry I'm such a weakling. I know how you feel about weakness.

Baby you are stronger than anyone I know you are far from weak. I love you, rest, don't worry about anything.

She smiled and fell asleep. He looked at her sleeping form. She was amazed he couldn't lose her. She was everything to him. She was wrong, she wasn't weak in any way. She'd been through hell and back and still was kind and loving that takes strength to do. He walked out closing the door softly. He texted Eric and Sam.

Meet me in my office in 15 minutes.

They both texted back.

On the way.

He put his phone in his pocket and walked to his office by the time he got there they were standing there waiting. They all walked in and sat down. What's going on? Is Summer okay, is the baby okay?

Sam calms down, they are okay for now the doc put her on bed rest and she has to take prenatal vitamins. And she has to eat iron enriched foods. Sam looked at him.

Okay and what else?

No stress so I need your help to prepare for the meeting with all the alphas that are coming up next week.

I got you Summer already had everything planned out so I'll just do what she was going to do.

Okay thank you Sam. I also need you to make sure she's staying calm and not doing anything strenuous.

I got you. I know what best rest means so I'll make sure she's doing that and eating like she should.

I knew I could count on you. It seems like you and Eric are the only two that I can count on nowadays. Besides Summer, I always knew I could count on her. She does so much for everybody else it's our turn to do something for her and make sure that our baby is safe.

Eric looked at Kane.

Sir, you know that she means a lot to me. I would do anything for her.

As would I alpha Kane.

Sam, you do not need to call me that. We are family.

I know I wanted you to know I'm serious.

I know you love my queen like she's another part of you.

I know both of you do and I thank you.

Anything you need we are here.

Thank you Sam okay now me and Eric have got to talk business.

Okay I got it I'm going see y'all at dinner we will have it in your room at 7.

Eric stood up and kissed her softly on the forehead.

With that she left the room and went to the kitchen.
