Waited For The Luna
Chapter 46

“Luka! The rogues have been rounded up. We’ll be loading them into the trucks. We need to get the two of you back in the pack as well.” Eric said but I turned a deaf ear. Trey and Forrest were there as well.

“She doesn’t want you to do this buddy. She needs to be laid in the pack.” Forrest said. But I couldn’t respond.

The thought of losing the woman I planned my whole life with was hard to process. Impossible actually. Noticing that I wouldn’t get up, Eric tasked Trey to watch over the convoy back to the pack. They then stood there in silence and watched as I held my girl to my chest. At this point dawn was already breaking at the clouds seemed to mourn with me as it rained. The four of us were there still. The convoy was on their way back to the pack.

The rain washed the b***d from our bodies clearing Bellamy’s as well. I then noticed that the piercing through her stomach was gone. And her bones seemed to be healed.

I could hear slow and light breathing, it was too silent and too weak.

“Ready the car! She’s still alive. We need to take her back to the pack.”

Eric then drove the car. It was a long drive but Eric was able to cut it by speeding up fast.

I was sitting at the back with Bellamy laid across the seats her head was on my lap.

“You’re okay. You’ll be okay.” I whispered.

I’ve probably gone mad and might be hallucinating at this point but I’d still clung on to the 5% chance that she’d be okay. In no time we were in the pack’s infirmary. Thomas was there as well as Noah. The medical team then hooked Bellamy with different tubes and apparatus that all seemed foreign to me. It was a nerve-racking sight. I watched her slow heartbeats on the monitor. They then shooked her heart when it went flat. I cried to the goddess at this point and in no minute I heard loud steady beeps from the monitor.

Thomas looked at me with relief. “My daughter is okay Alpha. She’s okay and she’s alive.” Thomas said seeming to break down while uttering every phrase. “Her heart is weak but she’ll be able to recover just give it time. We’ll send her for a scan to check for any internal bleeding.” He calmly said.

Bellamy stayed in a coma for a few days before regaining consciousness. With the threats gone I was able to stay by her side while Eric stood in my place. I let Ellie come back to the pack. The only reason I ordered for her to be imprisoned was for the other side to believe that they’d gotten rid of her. She seemed to be calm when I met her a few days ago. I offered her a job in the infirmary to which she accepted. We both forgiven each other for the pains we’ve caused in the past years.

Ceasar and the rogues who survived were in the pack cells. I was waiting for Bellamy to wake up before we sentence them. Ceasar was still her father and I would want him to explain to her.

Bellamy was finally able to talk after a few days of confusion.

She stared at me in disbelief when she opened her eyes before weakly uttering. “How am I alive? I was dead. ”

“I never gave up,” I told her as I grabbed her hand. She started bawling her eyes still flabbergasted by the fact that she survived and hugged me tightly. “Stop crying Bellamy, you have to rest.”

“Elias! He marked me. I wasn’t going to marry him–” She stuttered. “Shhh! Bellamy, it’s okay. He’s gone now.” There was fear in her eyes but it all went away when I said that.

“I’m never going to leave you again. Even if you tell me to. I won’t let anything in our way ever.” She said as she wiped the tears in her eyes.

“No. Even if you tell me to leave a hundred times more” I scoffed. Emphasizing the word “you”. How can I leave her and hurt her? She’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am beyond blessed to be mated to a strong and smart girl like her.

She then hissed in pain as she accidentally bent her neck. She then reached in and touched the markings on her neck. “You marked me? She said holding on to her pained neck.

“Yes. I’m sorry for doing it without asking. It was the only way I can save you, Bell. I know it’s not how you wanted it to happen–”

“It’s okay Luka. You did what you had to do and look where we are now.” I then asked for her permission and when she let me, I licked her neck to seal the mark and for it to heal faster. She shivered the moment my tongue reached her soft skin. After doing that, I leaned in for a k**s and she kissed me back.

“When I died, I was there in the stars. I saw souls and wolves walking around I didn’t know any of them. I accepted that I was probably going to be there forever and the only regret I had was not being with you longer than I should have.”

“You’re not dying until I allow you to. As long as I’m alive, we’ll live our lives in peace. Nothing will ever hurt as again.”
