Wedding Day Vampire -
Chapter 20
Derick flew high up in the air with the tree still in his hand and out of the enchanted forest, he dropped the tree into the large river where the forest lay and it fell inside with a large splash, and that was the end of the old Odinbre tree. He flew back into the forest to meet with the queen, Joana and Dana, who stood at the now empty spot where the Odinbre stood before.
“We thank you once again for your help. We will begin planting a new tree here. It might not be as big as the Odinbre was and surely it will take years to grow, but we do not mind the wait as long as our land is now safe.
“So, let us now replace this pixie of yours.”
They all sat down with the queen and Dana described everything to them, starting from the visit her and Marylin first had here to the point where they were looking for the second diary.
“Ok then, so what you’re saying now is that this pixie does not have wings?”
“Yes.”
“Can I see the diary that she gave you?”
Joana brought out the diary from the bag she had carried with her, she felt thankful that she had thought to bring it along.
The queen flew to where Joana held the diary in her hand and began to touch it. She called on one of her guards to bring out a small bottle and scraped some of the glitter dust from the diary into it. She then handed the bottle back to the guard and gave him some instructions. She turned back to the vampires after the guards had left.
“She made this diary using some of her pixie magic. I have taken a sample of her dust and my guards will be on the lookout for her, knocking on every door until they replace a wingless pixie whose magic matches the one in the bottle, we hope to replace her as soon as possible so you won’t have to stay here any longer than necessary.”
“Thank you,” Joana said to her.
“Ok then, I’ll leave you all alone now, my guards and I hope to bring you good news in the morning.”
After the queen had spoken to them, she flew away and began to return to the palace.
“So, what do we do now?” Derick said, turning to Dana. “It’s already night, we can’t sleep now.”
“Let’s go out for a little tour, even though there’s been a lot of change over the years, I want to show Joana all the places I took Marylin when she was still part of us.”
And then they all flew out of the forest and into the skies to tour the magnificent beauty of London in the night.

They returned back to the forest early the next morning, before the sun would show its face. The queen was already waiting for them at their resting point.
“We have found your pixie,” the queen said excitedly as soon as she spotted them.
“Mariana, they’re back!” The queen said, calling out to the shy little wingless pixie who was waiting for them behind a small tree, she came out from where she was hiding and Dana recognized her immediately. The queen then left them to continue their conversation.
“Hello Mariana,” Dana said to her. “It’s been so long; do you recognize me?”
“Yes,” Mariana said. “I didn’t at first when I saw you at the gathering, I didn’t even know that I was the pixie you were looking for until the queen told me you came with a diary.”
“Do you remember Marylin Lou?”
“Very well,” she said, looking in the direction of Joana. “I was the one who gave her the diary for helping a wingless old pixie.”
“Well, Marylin passed many years ago, and this isn’t Marylin but a reincarnation of her.”
Joana walked towards where Mariana stood on a rock and gave her a little hello with her pointy finger.
“Hello,” Mariana said to her before turning back to Dana. “But I don’t understand, I thought she was a vampire, how can she die when she’s an immortal?”
“It’s a long story,” Dana said. “But it happened a few years after Marylin came here to get the second diary from you. We have a situation, and we need the second diary but we don’t know where Marylin left it before she died. We were hoping that you would be able to help us replace it, that’s why we came here.”
“I don’t know,” Mariana said, “it’s been such a long time since she came here. I used old pixie dust to make those diaries centuries ago. I am very sure my magic won’t be able to locate it anymore.”
“Oh please,” Joana begged. “You have to help us in any way you can.”
Mariana thought of what to do for a while before responding to her.
“Ok, I hate to leave you just like that without at least trying to help you after coming all this way. My magic won’t be able locate it, but the only thing I can do for you that I am sure will work is to give you an indicator.”
