Wedding Day Vampire -
Chapter 50
“Hey Joana, wake up,” Derick nudged her lightly. She had been sleeping for a long time, they had until a few hours before the sun came out and they hadn’t reached the Caspian Sea yet. Derick then went to her room to see if she could wake now so they would get going.
Joana was enjoying her sleep and began mumbling something in her state of unconsciousness, while Derick was trying to wake her up.
“Let me sleep!” She cried, unaware of what the time was. What was she doing all day? Didn’t she go to sleep on time? Derick wondered. Well, he had tried his best, she was the one complaining that she didn’t want to waste any more time with the other ingredients, and here she was sleeping late when she was supposed to be regathering her strength.
“Ok fine, I’ll leave you alone. Suit yourself, sleepy head.”
He began walking out of the room and stopped in his tracks when Joana continued mumbling something else that caught his attention.
“Oh, I love you Derick, yes, I want you to make love to me, I want you to f**k meeee!!!!”
Talk of hypocrisy, he went back towards her bedside and began penetrating into her thoughts. Even though he had promised himself he wouldn’t do this again to her, he was curious to see what the lovely Joana was dreaming about.
“Oh, my gosh!” he closed his mouth and began to laugh gently so he wouldn’t wake her up.
He went back to the door, walked out and closed it behind him gently, as long as she was dreaming about him, he didn’t mind how long it took for her to do so.

“Oh no!” Joana gasped as she looked at the time. She had been reading Marylin’s diary all day, forgetting that the time to sleep had passed, she didn’t know why she found so much joy and comfort while reading the diary and recalling the visions she had seen in the evergreen river, but she did. Some part of her began to remember those times she had in her past life, even though she knew that wasn’t all of it, she wasn’t interested in replaceing out more, the only thing that bothered her now was how she could replace the rest of the ingredients. But now that it was less than two hours before the sun rises, she would have to make do with vamscren. She headed over to get some of it that was stored in the kitchen, when the sun came out, she would drink it. Now that the time had passed, she wasn’t sure if Derick would still want to follow her. Whether he did or not, she was going to that volcano today.
“Hey Joana, wake up,” Derick nudged her lightly. She had been sleeping for a long time, they had until a few hours before the sun came out and they hadn’t reached the Caspian Sea yet. Derick then went to her room to see if she could wake now so they would get going.
She went to his room and took a peek. He was still awake though lying on is bed and staring into the ceiling.
“Oh, hey Joana,” he said as he noticed her and got up. “Did you sleep well?”
She didn’t know why he had such a smirk on his face, but decided to ignore it.
“Yes, I did, too well in fact, and now the sun is almost up.”
“There’s no problem about that, we can still go tonight.”
“I can’t wait till night, I don’t want to waste time Derick, you know.”
“But waiting for a few hours won’t kill you, Joana.”
“The Caspian Sea is a three-day flight from here Derick, we’d still have to fly in the sun if that’s what you’re scared of.”
“How did you know it would take that long to get there?”
“Map estimations.”
“Ok then, since you want to leave now then let’s go.”
“Let’s not forget to take some vamscren along, I already took some but I doubt it will be enough for the both of us and for the full trip.”
“Then let’s go and take some more,” he said.
“After taking all they needed, they both set out and began their journey to the Caspian Sea, and in order to save more time, Joana decided that she would head to the enchanted forest from there to get some pixie dust. Then finally, the quest for the ingredients would be done, as the only thing she would need afterward was her immortal b***d.”
They started out of the castle and began flying, taking directions from the map in Joana’s hand. As they saw the sun begin to rise, they landed on a spot and drank enough vamscren, as much they thought would last them the whole day, they then continued on their journey before they reached the sea at midnight.
“I thought you said it was a three-day flight,” Derick told her.
“Umm, look at the volcano,” she pointed at it standing tall in the sea, changing the topic.
They flew down and landed on it. The poem was right, the volcano wasn’t active. But there was no sign of any troll anywhere.
“Who goes there?” They heard a scrubby voice say. Spoke too soon, Joana thought.
A little hairy figure with pointed ears came out from behind a pile of rocks. It appeared to have been sleeping.
“Sorry for waking you up,” Joana said. “We just came here to get something, we’ll get it and be gone really quickly, then you can continue your sleep.”
“If it’s the earth from this volcano you came here to take, then you might as well return to where you came from.”
From the troll’s voice, Joana recognized that it was a female. Though it was hard to tell at first because she was murderously tough.
The troll squinted her eyes and looked at Joana again, before letting out a shriek.
“Hey, I remember you now, you came here before!!!”
“Yes, I did, so you see I’m not an enemy.”
“Yes, you are! You threw me into the sea because I refused to let you take the earth from this volcano!!! I barely made it out alive!”
Joana gulped, frankly Marylin hadn’t handled this creature the way she handled the others she had met before. She was so sorry to this troll if she would have to throw her into the sea again, but if that was all it took to get some earth, then she wouldn’t mind doing it a second time.
Before she could move any step further, the troll threw two magical silver bonds towards her and Derick, capturing them and bringing them down to the ground.
