Chapter 1

PROLOGUE

I have seen you from afar.

With the darkness in my world and destruction in my path,

I have seen you from afar.

My eyes would follow wherever you are, like a dying man looking at the star.

And my heart longed for you, even though I was barred,

By the destiny that has sent me away, from wherever you are.

Because in my world, you are my light.

The light that has set my otherwise dark soul bright.

And for you, I would do everything, anything,

Even to the point of chopping my own wings,

Because, I have seen you from afar,

And in my heart, you are my world, my light,

Thus, I will follow you,

Even if my soul falls apart.
