Chapter 0633

Miranda nodded. “That’s one way to put it.”

Nevertheless, Madison frowned at this. “It’s satisfying, sure, but would the college really allow that? They’re not stupid.”

“Dr. Young said she’d handle the college. All we need to do is focus on our projects and do our part.”

“Fantastic! It’ll be like we’re working for ourselves!” Madison cheered while stuffing two cookies into her mouth. They were so good!

“These will be perfect with hot lattes Madison trailed off as Miranda’s phone rang.

“Hello?”

“Hello, Lock’s Delivery. Could you come out to get the lattes? I can’t get in from here.”

Miranda froze. Lattes? She hadn’t ordered any.

With the delivery guy urging her, she went out to pick them up. She received three cups of hot lattes from

him the

“Miranda, you’re too thoughtful!” Madison exclaimed. “You actually ordered our favorite lattes in advance! You’re amazing…

Miranda shook her head. “I didn’t order these.”

What?

Madison blinked in confusion. “Then… Seb?”

Sebastian immediately denied it. “Not me.”

“Then who?

Just then, Paul walked in and saw the lattes in their hands. He raised an eyebrow. “Looks like the delivery was faster than I expected.”

Madison gasped. ‘Dr. Jefferson, you ordered the lattes?”

Paul nodded slightly. “Wasn’t sure of your preferences, so I got the same for everyone.”

Madison grinned. “They’re perfect!”

Just then, Miranda’s phone rang again. “Alright, I’ll be right out.”

Three minutes later, Miranda returned, carrying another delivery bag.

Madison’s jaw dropped. “Three more lattes? Dr. Jefferson, did you order these too?”

Paul shook his head.

“Then who?”

“Oh, the lattes are here? Sam strolled into the lounge, smiling, though his expression quickly shifted when he noticed the lattes already in their hands. His gaze moved briefly to Paul, then settled on Miranda.

“Looks like I might’ve been a bit late?” Sam observed with his tone cooling the atmosphere.

Madison looked around, sensing tension. Was there… a hint of rivalry in the air? She glanced at Sebastian, who happened to be looking her way too.

Madison gave him a look as if she were saying, “What’s going on?”

Sebastian shot back with another look. “You’re asking me?”

Madison then gave a knowing glance. “It feels like a rivalry vibe, doesn’t it?”

Sebastian nodded. “Definitely.”

“Wow, Dr. Jefferson and Mr. Cooper had the same idea! Thank you for this!” Madison said brightly as she picked up one of Sam’s lattes.

“You must’ve known that I can drink two cups! They’re different brands and different flavors. You’re too considerate!”

Sam’s expression relaxed a little.

Sebastian quietly picked up another cup and nodded at Sam. “Thanks, Mr. Cooper.”

Paul glanced at Miranda. “I assume you can’t drink two cups, right?”

Everyone looked at Miranda, where two lattes now sat in front of her.

Sam smirked. “I got Miranda the hot one.”

Paul replied, “What a coincidence. So did I.”

“I picked the flavor Miranda likes.

“Mine’s a flavor I doubt she’d mind.”

“Mine’s low–sugar, with fresh milk swapped for oat milk. It’s much healthier.”

“Coincidentally, so is mine.”

So… whose latte would she choose?

Both men then looked intently at Miranda, waiting for her choice.
