“Fool, do you really think you’re the smartest in the world?”

“And if Stella was so simple to handle, why would we be exerting all this effort? You’re such a simpleton.

If you’re so eager to meet your end, go ahead, but leave me out of it,” she continued relentlessly.

Subdued, Kristian muttered, “Are you really okay with giving up just like that?”

Elizabeth scoffed, “Stella’s done harboring any delusions about Bella after the paternity test.

There’s no need for us to risk exposure now.

We’ll replace our moment.

Meanwhile, I’ll keep urging Bella to come home.

Stop overestimating yourself.

Before Elizabeth could intervene, Bella had already arranged to meet with Stella on the following day.

They met at a local café.

I underestimated the risks involved and relied too heavily on one of my team members.

Bella’s face lit up with relief.

“I’m relieved to hear you say that.

She leaned in slightly, locking eyes with Stella, and continued, “There’s actually another reason I wanted to see you today.

I’ve made up my mind about the studio.

I want you to take over.

Are you still interested?”

“Are you asking me to take over your studio?” Stella echoed Bella’s words, her voice filled with surprise.

She had thought, after all the recent upheavals, that Bella had abandoned the idea of appointing a successor.

Stella hadn’t anticipated being chosen herself.

Anxious about the unexpected offer, Stella asked, “Why the sudden decision?”

Bella responded with a gentle smile, “I intended to announce this after your wedding, but unforeseen circumstances have caused a delay.

Appreciation shone in her eyes as she regarded Stella.

“I’ve always admired your skills and your handling of recent events has only reinforced my decision.

I am certain you are the right choice for my successor.

If you’re willing, I’m ready to teach you everything I know.

Stella’s eyes lit up, her heart racing as she managed to say, “Of course! Thank you so much for this incredible opportunity.

I will do my best not to let you down!”

Bella was delighted to see Stella’s enthusiasm.

“I plan to…” Bella began, about to discuss when she would make the announcement public, but suddenly, she felt dizzy.
