Chapter 81

“Give me three days, and I’ll move out of here” Anastasia was shaking all over.

Faced with Naomi’s accusations, she was unable to explain herself.

All she wanted was that this did not implicate Jason.

“You can continue to cause trouble like this, but when the baby is born, and if that baby is from the Lopez family, I think the child will forever be inferior. I wonder if the child will hate you when the time comes.” Anastasia threatened Naomi with a hoarse voice.

Anastasia didn’t really care if Naomi wanted to cause trouble.

Alastor wouldn’t cross the bottom line before the baby was born.

“It doesn’t mean we can’t do a DNA paternity test before the child is born. I think you just wanted to stall the time. We can do the test by amniotic fluid test.” Felicia stood aside with a smug look as she spectated the commotion.

She looked at Anastasia as if she had won. “Do you dare take the DNA paternity test?”

Anastasia frowned and looked at Felicia in shock. She thought, ‘How vile could this wornan be?”

“How dare you even suggest she do an amniotic fluid test? The baby’s condition is still unstable Jason looked at Felicia in

anger.

“It seems like you really want to protect her, Jason. You can do that if you’re from the Gunn family in Hork, but you’re just a penniless bum. You even need a scholarship and a part-time, and you’re saying you want to protect her? What a joke,” Felicia mocked him.

She didn’t know Jason’s background before and even thought that the son of one of the wealthiest families in Horks was his schoolmate, but it turned out he was just a peasant. “How ridiculous. A pauper like him wants to act like a hero to save the beauty. What a joke,” she thought.

“Aren’t you afraid of karma if you belittle someone like that?” Jason sneered. He disdained Felicia and had no intention of arguing with her. He then took a shawl from the couch and draped it on Anastasia as he brought her to the door, looking at the reporters, “Alastor and Anastasia have divorced, and it was Alastor who cheated on her with his secretary. I’m in a normal relationship with Anastasia, and as for any media outlets who want to embellish the story, I dare you to try.”

After that, Anastasia followed Jason numbly. Her head was blank, and her ears were buzzing.

Anastasia didn’t even hear what Jason had said to the reporters, and her body was still ice cold even after she got into Jason’s

car.

From Jason’s declaration to the reporters to Anastasia getting into Jason’s car. Alastor didn’t say a word. He just looked at

her.

Anastasia then took a deep breath and felt that her fingers were cold.

It was like she had finally let go in that instant.

She didn’t love him anymore.

“Wait…” Anastasia said in a hoarse voice when Jason was about to drive away.

Jason was a little nervous when he heard that. They’re here to bully you. Leave with me, okay?”

However, Anastasia didn’t say anything and got out of the car.

It was still raining, mixed with tiny ice-like snowflakes, and it hurt when it got onto her face.

Jason felt a sharp pain in his heart, thinking, “You’re still going back even after how badly Alastor hurt you?”

Anastasia stood in the wind and rain, looking at Alastor standing at the door. “Don’t you want to know whose baby it is?”

Alastor looked at Anastasia and said in a deep voice, “Do you finally want to tell me?”

Anastasia was silent for a long time before she spoke. “Tell the reporters to leave and buy out all the news tonight. I’ll do the amniotic fluid test and the DNA paternity test in advance, but you’re responsible for the risk.”

There would be a high risk of bacterial infection if one did the amniotic fluid test, and it would be impossible for the baby to survive once infected, not to mention that she was still in her early pregnancy.

Alastor frowned and clenched his fingers. “And?”

“We’ll talk about the following conditions when the DNA paternity test results are out.” Anastasia walked into the living room, took Snowball out from behind the couch, and rubbed its head softly. “Now, tell them to leave the house.”

“Alastor, you’re too courteous with her. I would’ve kicked her out if I were you,” Steven said in anger.

Tll leave. You don’t have to kick me out,” Anastasia interrupted Steven.

“Enough!” Alastor raised his hand and held his forehead. It seemed like he had a bad headache.

“Get out.” Alastor’s voice was low.

Feeling Alastor’s anger, Felicia lowered her head and hid behind Steven before they went out.

As for Naomi, she still wanted chatter on. “Alastor, do the DNA paternity test with her as soon as possible. If that is really a child of the Lopez family, then you have to take the child and divorce her! I’ve told you before not to marry a peasant like her, but you still married her anyway. Look at—*

“Enough. Go home. Alastor pointed at the door.

Naomi choked for a moment before she snorted and left. “I’ll wait for the DNA paternity test result. Don’t you dare play any tricks on me?”

“I didn’t arrange for what happened today,” Alastor said in a hoarse voice.

“It doesn’t matter.” Anastasia just turned off the lights and walked out of the living room. “Remember to close the door when you leave.”

Alastor frowned when he heard that. “Where are you going?”

“This is not my home, so I’ll empty my things in three days.” Anastasia walked a few steps before she stopped. “Don’t worry. I won’t take anything else except for my paintings and art supplies.”

She came empty-handed when she married Alastor, so she would leave empty-handed after the divorce…

Anastasia would just regard the four years they had a dream.

Alastor frowned and looked unhappy. “You’re doing this just because you’re mad? Who do you think will suffer the most loss from this?”

Anastasia just smiled before she got into Jason’s car.

“I wonder who will suffer the most loss,” she thought.
