When Maia mentioned “remarry,” Tess’s expression visibly froze, but Cedric wore a smile onhis face.

“Maia, if you remarry him, you'll regret it once you recover your memory!” Tess refused to give up. “Maia, come back home withus!”

Maia shook her head, adamantly refusing. The atmosphere became awkward, and Tess’s expression turned increasingly ugly.

Cedric paid no attention to anyone else, his focus remained solely on Maia. Even if she was acting, her expressions and wordsjust now struck a chord in his heart.
