Patricia looked back at him. "Am I that weak in your mind's eye?" Ladies were usually faint-hearted, butshe was different. She had always liked those horror stories since she was little. Ryan smiled. "You've never been weak."

Patricia was happy when she listened to the former school hunk's compliment. However, she used tobe a real personality who feared nothing in the past, and now she was like this because of the crueltyof society. She gave a sigh. Well, God took away what qualifies me to go my own way, but he gave methree cute babies. It's a good thing, I guess. It's just that I became a little sophisticated, but with thethree kids being so cute, I'm fine with becoming anything. At the thought of this, she smiled and nolonger felt upset about what had happened in the past.

When they arrived at the movie theater, Ryan collected the movie tickets and bought two cups of fruitjuice and a box of popcorn.

Patricia took the popcorn while smiling at him. "To be honest, Ryan, how many girlfriends have you hadbefore?" He understands ladies so well and bought me strawberry juice. Young ladies seem to likesuch sour and sweet fruit juice, and I'm no exception.

Ryan was startled for a moment. "I've never had a girlfriend before. If you don't believe it, you can askSelina about it." Selina was their former class monitor. Moreover, she had an upright character and

never lied, so she was the most suitable person to be mentioned.

Upon hearing this, Patricia smiled. "I'm just asking. Don't be so nervous." She picked up a popcorn andtossed it into her mouth before entering the movie theater with him.

Ryan had wanted to buy tickets for a love seat, but he was afraid of scaring Patricia since they had juststarted going out. Therefore, he decided to take one step at a time. He bought tickets for two normalseats that were side by side with each other.

They sat down and chatted for a while about other ex-classmates before the movie began.

Taking a sip of her fruit juice, Patricia stretched out her hand to grab a few popcorn, only to touchRyan's hand. As soon as their eyes met after that, she immediately retracted her hand, and both ofthem smiled.

Ryan leaned closer to her while asking in a whisper, "Aren't you scared at all? I can lend you my armsfor a moment." With that, he spread his arms and opened his overcoat, causing her to be greeted by agust of warm air.

Just then, a tall figure came in through the entrance and spotted their location precisely.

Isaac's expression changed when he saw how Ryan opened his overcoat to wrap it around Patricia.Then, he turned around and stepped out of the movie theater.

A while later, the movie at the movie theater where Patricia and Ryan were suddenly stopped playing,and the lights came on. Not only that, but the fire alarm even went off.

Patricia looked around them. "Is there a fire or something?" Seeing how everyone ran outside, sheimmediately stood up. "Ryan, let's get out of here."

Sitting in his seat, Ryan looked around coldly, but he didn't replace any signs of smoke or fire. Thinking thatsomething was amiss, he frowned slightly and stood up, feeling that today really wasn't his day. Hewondered what had gone wrong. He and Patricia had been leaning closer together, and he would soonbe able to kiss her. How regrettable, he thought. Despite his reluctance, it was pointless for him to insistthat they stay in such a situation. It won't work, I guess. There's no way she'd go along with it. He tookher hand. "Let's go and have dinner." Since they couldn't watch movies, they could go to a romanticrestaurant. The atmosphere there was nice, so he would also be able to get a step closer to her.
