As the car came to a halt before her, Patricia instantly felt that her burden would be lifted soon.However, as soon as she heard the man's voice, she was taken aback.

As she hesitated, the driver alighted from the car and helped her to grab hold of Isaac. "Ma'am, I won'tcharge you for sending you home."

The driver was nosy and he had parked his car by the sidewalk to check whether she had successfullyrescued her husband.

After all, he had offered her help earlier, so if she succeeded in saving Isaac, that must mean he did agood deed as well.
